Fan of lots of stuff

well to make a long story short I got betrayed and back stabbed by people who I thought were my close friends. I'm not going to name their names cuz I just want to move on from this BS and go about my life I doubt I have a big enough following for people to start harassing people over me but just in case I'm not going to name any names. But some of them are here on Tumblr and it kind of made me think that Tumblr is not a safe place to be on for a while. But I miss some of the great original TMNT fan iterations that are on this site so I'm slowly going to start coming back.

Basically what happened was these close friends of mine who I thought I could trust turned on me out of the blue. They started accusing me of stuff, horrible things, and made posts and videos about me. I'll admit I'm not a perfect person no one is we all have our issues but they stretch the truth and even straight up light about some things and I don't know why. So after getting called out I changed my name on every platform including this one. And then I just stopped using a lot of them for a long time.

I'm a little scared to be back on here again worried that someone's going to call me out for something my ex friends said about me but hopefully that doesn't happen. I noticed that even though I've been inactive I've still gotten likes on my posts and even some new followers which is surprising to me. So that's some nice encouragement to come back.

Since the time I've been gone I've had suicidal thoughts after my friend group betrayed me and I was wondering what the hell I did wrong. but I made a new friend group since then and I have a girlfriend now so life has definitely gotten better. So now for the reason why I'm here why I decided to come back after all this time.

Before I went on my big hiatus I was working on an iteration of TMNT with this friend group of mine that betrayed me. We would come up with the story together and then they would do the art since I got no art skills beyond tracing. But after them spreading lies about me saying I was going to steal all the credit even though that was never the case I've decided to not seek out help illustrating my fan iteration. Instead it's just going to be a story on Wattpad and maybe another website in the future if I find a better one. And I have created the first two "episodes" and posted them on Wattpad. I shared him around a little on discord I tried to share it on Reddit and Facebook but they're not getting much attention. So I'm hoping that by coming back to here where there's a good following of ninja turtle fans who like fan iterations hopefully it'll get attention here. So if you like my fan iteration and want to help me as a co-writer let me know. You can DM me here and I'll invite you to a discord server where we can just hang out and bounce ideas around and whatnot. Thanks for hanging in there. For those who have been liking my posts about TMNT mythologies I was thinking about abandoning the concept because it wasn't catching on but if more people start liking those maybe I'll keep the idea going. My friend group that backstabbed me said it's too complicated possibly restricts creativity and no one gets it but you so I started to slowly drift away from the idea. But maybe I'll come back to it. And shout out to the creators of TMNT Redline I noticed when I got back on here that they liked one of my posts. Last time I was on here they were Mia for a while I was worried that the comic was canceled and the two creators had a falling out I hope that's not the case I hope they were just on a break cuz I really want redline to continue.

You might like my next writers guide that I'm currently working on, called Little Siblings where the next gen Turtles from The Last Ronin are siblings to the original four instead of unrelated Turtles from after the original four's death. Imagine Splinter having to raise eight kids or 10 kids, that would be very stressful, but funny to watch or read about XD. That's basically what my next guide is lol.

Who are they closer to between the 3 brothers? (sorry if my question confuse you)

Leo’s is pretty evenly bonded with all of his brothers, but is the closest with Raph. Raph is his right hand man as the leader and he feels that he can be more open about the way he feels with Raph than the others. This bond is strengthened further throughout the story. He very deeply cares for all of his brothers, and he very much enjoys hanging out with them, he just has a much deeper more emotional connection to Raph having Raph helped him through a lot of his lowest points.

Raph is probably closest with Leo for very similar reasons, though he’s bonded very evenly with his all of brothers. It’s almost completely equal, he’s bonded just a little more with Leo due to his position in their team that has him assisting and supporting Leo as the leader, whether that being covering his back on the battlefield, or helping him through the anxiety of being in command.

Donnie is also bonded pretty evenly but definitely more to Mikey. Mikey and him do a lot of stuff together like rummage for electronics and other tech related stuff and science/build things(though Mikey is usually sitting on the other side of his lab while he’s building or handling dangerous stuff).

Mikey is bonded with all his brothers pretty evenly, though he’s a little more bonded with Raph and Donnie. He’ll listen to Donnie’s ramblings and/or rants and likes to search through junk at night with him. Raph will do stupid stuff with him and play video games with him. Raph and Mikey do scuffle a lot but 90% of the time it’s Mikey wanting to harass Raph. He definitely loves Leo a lot but I think Mikey feels like he’s kind of a party pooper sometimes, however they do love playing video game together and reading/nerding out over comics.

Being raised together, the boys are very, very close to each other. These biases are very slight and are hardly noticeable, even by Splinter. They fight a lot and there are many jokes taken too far, but they all love each other a lot, which is what makes them such an unstoppable team.

This guy is so fun to draw! I think I’ve kept his design almost identical to his canon designs out of all of the characters I’ve done so far. I decided that I wanted to use the original Mirage Comic backstory for him, since I felt like it’s just so comically unlucky.

They do!

New York gets pretty cold in the wintertime, so the boys wear pants and snow jackets—sometimes hats too—to keep warm in the cold months. They also all really like wearing pajama pants to bed even if it’s not particularly cold.

They don’t wear anything except their ninja gear in the summer though since it gets very hot and muggy. Typically if they’re wearing clothes, it’s just pants held by their belts.

They almost never wear shoes unless they have to walk through snow, but even then, it’s hard to find boots that fit their feet. They usually just stay home for a bit after snow storms until the snow is either cleared or melted of the rooftops.

I think generally they really like wearing clothes because they’re comfortable and soft, but they don’t wear them when it’s hot out. They do have temperature regulation, so they can sweat when it’s hot and shiver/warm their core when it’s cold, but it’s not as good as a human’s, so they often rely on external sources to help them stay at a happy turtle temperature.

I takes place in the mid to late 1990s.

At first I considered going with the early 2000s, but I ultimately decided I wanted a time that didn’t have a series in it. Cause you got the 80s, the early 2000s, the early 2010s, late 2010s/early 2020s, and coming soon will be the Mutant Mayhem show which takes place in the early 2020s. So I decided I wanted to go with the 90s, cause so much stuff I love was invented in the 80s and 90s and it’s just so iconic. ^v^

I have left a few hints here and there that you can find so far to pin down the exact date. For one thing there’s literally a date in this picture:

Though that was the copy right year in Japan. The game was released in November of ‘96 in Japan and was then released in the United States a few months later in March of ‘97.

Raph also says he stole the N64 from RadioShack, which was at it’s peak in the late 90s. He also mentions that he stole it before the release date, so it’s definitely February(the release date was March 1st).

I plan for the series to start in the spring of 1996.

Is tmnt inde going to go through the Y2K panic??? Bc I can totally imagine them going through that

I’m thinking Donnie says it doesn’t make scientific sense to be panicking because it’s an issue that is very easily fixable with the modern computing power of computers. And with the millions of dollars invested by world governments to fix these issues, it’s illogical to expect anything more than some funny McDonald’s signs.

Mikey is totally in on it because he watches WAY too much TV and has been propagandized into 100% thinking that Y2K is the end of the universe.

Leo and Raph don’t really care, Leo is an optimist so he doesn’t really listen to the doomsday stuff. He’s also unsure of how much their life would actually change, since they already live underground and have to live like it’s a zombie apocalypse. Raph has a bit of a dark sense of humor and thinks it funny to watch the whole word freaking out over ultimately nothing. He says he sides with Donnie on this one, because he wants to enjoy the “I told you so” moment when nothing happens.

Splinter doesn’t really know what it is, nor what “Y2K” even stands for, but he knows it’s probably bad?? He just knows that his sons have heated arguments that include that word and the extremely important question of “will there still be pizza.”

Um, over how much time will the Indie comics be taking place?

Okay so I wanted the series to start in the spring of 1996. There’s a ton of stuff they do and discover all year until it winds up into the invasion which is in the fall.

The farmhouse arc is over the winter and they get back sometime in the very early spring, like, February.

Again every things pretty chill for a few months until Bishop gets some ideas and kidnaps Donnie in mid summer.

They get maybe a month or so before they all get abducted by the Kraang and taken to space.

I haven’t planed much past that(gotta get on that…eventually…) but I plan for the series to span multiple years(in universe), I’m just not 100% sure how many, probably 3 or 4.
