Light Installations Reveals Confessions of a Break-Up by Witchoria
Witchoria (previously featured here) is responsible for creating a series of photographs which feature illuminated typography glowing brightly in deserted landscapes. Under the night sky, heartbroken and sarcastic phrases such as “Pretend you care,” “I Will Break My Own Heart,” and “Baby Come Back” under a series of unrequited love confessions.
The disappointments expressed perfectly captured the isolation and loneliness felt under its complementary deserted background. Each piece is somber, emotive, yet empathetic. You can find her collection for sale on her Society6 shop.
Quirky & Vintage Tea Pot Sets Get an Ironic Makeover by Yvonne Ellen
London-based designer Yvonne Ellen uses up-cycled pieces to create quirky teapot sets with a sense of humor.
Made from bone china, each design is hand-painted. The tiny polka dots, illustrated bees, and other animals are carefully applied. Despite their artistic application, each piece is a work of art and functional. They are imprinted with partial wildlife illustrations, who need a companion to make a full set.Â
They follow traditional Britain pottery fashion with a touch of Victorian charm. You can find the entire set in her Etsy shop.

MUST READ:
Steal Like an Artist: 10 Things Nobody Told You About Being Creative by Austin Kleon
Incredibly inspiring and motivational, Austin Kleon has designed a quick guide on the concept of developing your inner artist. Straightforward and fearless, Kleon utters the silent truth about art: Nothing is original. Extremely clever and modern, Kleon’s guide on unleashing your creativity is fun and wildly interesting. He guides you on the fundamentals of creating and aids you by reassuring you that everybody obtains artistic license to repurpose, steal and study. Below are ten things, Kleon wishes someone had told him on the concept of making art:
1. Steal like an artist.
2. Don’t wait until you know who you are to get started.
3. Write the book you want to read.
4. Use your hands.
5. Side projects and hobbies are important.
6. The secret: do good work and share it with people.
7. Geography is no longer our master.
8. Be nice. (The world is a small town.)
9. Be boring. (It’s the only way to get work done.)
10. Creativity is subtraction.
Remember the most prolific artists such as Pablo Picasso, T.S. Eliot and Steve Jobs were thieves. Art is imitation and Kleon constantly reminds us of this.
Overall Steal Like an Artist is simply brilliant. Kleon has called everybody’s bluff, and he has simultaneously made you happy by reminding you that your veins are filled with creativity, as long as you feed your soul, you are kind to others and do justice to your ideas.
