Here’s a little 10- point list of quick study tips to help you be more productive 💖
Set aside time to study in the beginning of the day. It’s much easier to get down and commit to a study session if you already have it on the books (and you can give yourself time to mentally prepare yourself for the tough few hours ahead!)
Give yourself little rewards throughout your study sesh to keep yourself motivated! For example, when you finish one chapter, have a chocolate treat and take a small break :)
Keep a bottle of water nearby on your desk. It will keep you hydrated as you will most likely reach for it if its in your sight all the time.
Don’s study on your bed! Your bed is where you sleep, thus your body will associate it with drowsiness. Work at your desk to be more energized and alert.
Get rid of distractions when you study. Put your phone on airplane mode, close out all browsers, and just avoid all social media!
Keep an uncluttered and motivational desk area. Make sure that you only keep the essentials on your desk, it will make you feel calmer and more organized! And you can hand some inspiration quotes on the wall to help you stay motivated!
Go over the notes you take in class after school. Even if you aren’t having a test coming up, still take a few minutes to reread the notes you took right after, it will help you for possible pop quizzes and later revision!
Sit in the front of the class. With no one sitting in front of you, you will have less distractions (and no straining to read the board/prez).
Eat an apple. If you are feeling tired, remember that your brain works on glucose (sugars), so have something sweet, like a healthy apple!
Always keep up with your homework + DON’T PUT IT OFF! This tip will save a lot of stress and time for you in the future if you get things done as soon as you have the time after it is assigned. If things pile up, it might be difficult to climb out of that work pile!
Happy Sunday 😊
What do you do when you want a pic of a girl with a yellow top but can’t find any that would fit your spread? You draw her yourself! 😃 I think this might be one of my favorite spreads. It was so positive and every time I looked at the smiling girl, I had to smile too ^^. Would you believe I used to not like yellow?

September Bullet Journal Setup
Hey guys! Today, I thought that I would share my new bullet journal set-up per month. A lot has changed since I last posted a set-up post, so I thought why not. :)
1. Monthly Cover Page
One of the new things in my current bullet journal is how I now make it a point to always have a cover page with the month name for the beginning of the month. I just like having a clear division between months, and this is a nice way to get my creative juices flowing.
2. Expense Tracker
Next is the expense tracker, which I forgot to take a photo of. But basically, there are three columns. The first one is the date, second is the item, and third is the amount.
3. Monthly Calendar and Forward Planning
Most people have boxes as their calendars, but I saw a calendar wheel once and fell in love with it. I have been using it for 2 months now, and I love how it’s cute and functional at the same time. The next photo is my forward planning for my blog. I still haven’t made similar thing for school yet because I won’t go back until the 13th, but it will be on the same page as the “Blogger Obligations.”
4. Gratitude Log
Next is my gratitude log, which I just found to be a relaxing thing to do daily. For those of you who don’t know what it is, it’s basically listing down what you’re thankful for each day. Ever since I started, I have wanted to do it in doodle style so as to make things more fun. This is the first month that I have circles for each day, but I like how cute it looks. I’m also thinking of doing a background after finishing with all 30 days. We’ll see.
5. Weekly Spreads
Finally, we have the weekly spreads. This is a snippet of my first weekly spread. It’s just a snippet because there hasn’t been a full week yet. During the term, I only have designated tasks for the weekdays, when I have classes, because I tend to look at my bullet journal per week instead of per day. This way, I won’t have to migrate tasks that I can still see within the spread because I found it redundant to migrate tasks daily.
I hope this helped! :)
080816 // last week’s spread, inspired by @literatea and @productiveflower‘s layouts! still experimenting with different set-ups, but i’m definitely getting closer to something that really works for me.
