While the boys are alive, Luke is always the one to get sent to the principal’s office, in school. He’s not actually a bad kid, though. He just gets really angry when people are mean to Alex or Reggie and has gotten into more than a few fights with the bully. He even once broke a boy’s jaw (who ended up having to get it wired shut) for calling Alex some not so nice terms for being gay.

Willie has never seen Alex play before, he knows he’s in a band, but he has never heard him play. Willie finally makes it to one of the many shows Julie and the Phantoms booked after playing the orpheum and he is amazed. Alex looks completely relaxed and he sounds incredible, Willie didn’t know he could sing either. After the show Willie finds Alex, who is definitely wearing too many layers for a drummer. Alex is surprised and gets nervous asking Willie how the show was and all he can say is “you looked hot”. “Oh yeah those lights are a lot, plus my hoodie doesn’t really help” and Willie just smiles at him and pulls him in for a hug because his boyfriend is an idiot.

Watching Stand Tall again & thought: what if the boys decided to ride in the car with Julie to the Orpheum? The thought of Caleb turning up in an empty studio is hilarious, but the thought of him randomly appearing in traffic from following the stamps is even funnier. And then I thought, what if he appeared IN the car & Julie could see him & screams & then has to scramble to cover her sudden freak-out because her dad & Carlos can't see him (& don't know the boys are there either ofc)

Where do i go to send/post prompts for any author to see? I have a few, and have sent some of them to one author who was asking for ideas (they haven't written anything for them yet) but I kinda want to see them done in several different ways, see how different authors interpret them and work the same ideas into different storylines in different ways.
I don’t know if there is a specific platform or blog that a lot of writers see, but the reason I started this blog was because there aren’t enough prompt blogs, for any fandom. I’m a writer, but sometimes I need the inspiration and will going searching through Tumblr for prompts or ideas for something to write. So, if you want, I’d be more than happy to post them. Even if they’re not specifically for this fandom, I have a few different prompt blogs that I could post the prompts on.

Can I submit a prompt? Prompt: roles reversed. Julie, Flynn and Carrie are slowly but surely rising in the music world with their band. They're just about to perform on the Orpheum, something that will surely change their lives forever, when a tragic accident kills Julie and Flynn. Cut to 25 years later, the boys are taking a look around their new studio and find the girls' demo. They put it on and BAM, Julie and Flynn come out of it in all their ghostly glory. All three boys can see them. Julie eventually joins the boy's band, and Flynn quickly gets used to the times and handles their social media (lol). Etc...

JaTP Prompt #13
(Honestly, I don’t know what constitutes a song fic) Julie and Luke are now in their early 20s. Luke wrote the song Endlessly by The Cab, for Julie. But he’s super secretive about it and is really nervous to play it for her. They have been flirting and basically a couple since all of the boys became human again, but neither of them had officially asked each other about being boyfriend and girlfriend. Julie ends up overhearing him working on the song, and gets scared he’s actually seeing someone else, but then Luke ends up preforming it for her (with the help of Alex and Reggie, of course) and he explains it was for her, because he didn’t know how to ask her to be his girlfriend. Alex and Reggie (still retaining some ghost powers) poof away after the song so that Luke and Julie can talk. They end up having their first kiss.

Julie looked at him, her mouth open. She shook her head and closed it. “That’s right, you’re from ’95. June is Pride Month.”
Reggie looked at Luke and Alex to see if they knew what that meant, but they didn’t have a clue either. “Pride month?” He asked, sitting down.

The boys find out about pride month. That’s it. That’s the fic. And they have a few (a lot) of terms explained to them, some discovery about themselves, and maybe they wind up going to pride, who knows.

The boys died. They felt like they were only stuck in that dark room for maybe a few hours. They had no real time to process the fact that they had died. Even though the boys have come back as ghost, they do still try to keep a sleeping pattern. The problem for the boys is that there are more than a few nights where they’re caught in nightmares of the pain they felt while dying, the horrible loud noise of the ambulances siren, feeling themselves drift away from their bodies.

julie steals clothes from flynn, and flynn steals clothes from julie, and they start stealing from the guys too after a bit because they got so close and it’s just what they do. the guys often see flynn and julie both wearing their old things and julie mainly wears luke’s, but they both wear a mix. flynn likes alex’s hoodies a lot. alex also steals willie’s sweaters, so it’s pretty much a clothing theft chain.
I need to read more of this. Just everyone’s reactions to the others wearing their clothes. The boys being surprised that the girls can even touch the clothes.

Little snippets of Julie introducing the boys to modern technology! Julie trying to explain YouTube to Luke. Her trying to explain Carlos’ iPad to Alex or Reggie. All three of the boys being confused about her laptop being so small.

Sort of a song prompt. The song She Looks So Perfect by 5sos, but it’s written by Luke for Julie. Luke is human and they’re both in their mid-20s and have been together for a few years now. It’s one of the few songs Luke hasn’t written with Julie, because he wanted it to be a surprise. Alex and Reggie play while Luke sings/serenades Julie.
if alex is going to start using 2020 slang i think it’s only right for julie to start using 90s slang
she would bring back “talk to the hand”
Julie starts using "tight" and "radical" around her human friends and family and they are all confused except Flynn who's facepalming and planning to go to the studio later to yell at the Phantoms because this is obviously their fault
Flynn: Carrie is so full of herself
Julie, nodding: she thinks she’s all that and a bag of chips
Flynn: what are those boys doing to you?

Hogwarts AU. Alex, Willie, Luke, and Reggie are all alive, and go to Hogwarts. Julie and Flynn also go to Hogwarts. Willie, Alex, Luke and Reggie are 6th years, and Julie and Flynn are 5th years. Luke, Julie and Flynn are Gryffindors. Alex is a Ravenclaw. Reggie and Willie are Hufflepuff’s. Luke, Alex and Reggie have been trying to start a band. Luke ends up overhearing Julie playing piano and/or singing and tells Alex and Reggie and they all agree to talk to her about being in their band.

Reggie, with the help of Julie, Luke and Alex, finds his younger brother (2 years younger). He finds out that he’s all grown up, married, and has two kids of his own. Reggie wants to meet his niece and nephew, but he’s dead and he doesn’t want to upset the beautiful life his brother clearly has. Reggie is just happy that his brother was able to move on after he died, and also be in a healthy marriage. He was always scared that both of them would either end up alone or in an unhappy marriage like their parents. Just Reggie spiraling a bit from the sadness he’s feeling at not being able to be there for his brother.
