Figured it had been a while since I posted anything so I might as well. This would be my most recent roleplaying character for the game Dungeon World. He is an eldritch demon called the Hierophant. It’s a gibbering, skittering Cleric of a lost goddess. At all times at least one of its mouths is gibbering some sort of eldritch nonsense. It plucks the slugs (who seem to come from his body) off as sacrifice for its rituals.

So, Monster Hunter XX is officially coming to the Switch, which has me pumped.

Like REALLY pumped. And so I stayed up to draw a pick of one of my favorite monsters from the series, Zinogre. Our hunter is not looking good with one of Zinogres classic slams lined up.

Finished the last 2 members of the party; Kellen the gnome abjurer and Zek a half-elf cleric of Waukeen.

Starting an new DnD campaign soon and I decided I would sketch up the characters of the group. Basically 1 a night for a week. It was then I realized I have not drawn a single thing this year. Been wrapped up with work, life and games.

However, this spurred me to use some of the hard earned cash to finally purchase a drawing monitor. Having received it I started my project and have sketched up 3 of the 6 player characters.

Well, I awoke this morning to the news of Monster Hunter X(cross), and I am simply hyped as hell! The game hints at being “cross” gen as far as roster with monsters and settings from EVERY GEN of monster hunter. I know I wasn’t the only person who saw the Forest and Hills area from 2nd gen. Not to mention all the old villages from past games. Nostalgia central. Oh, and the 4 play styles for each weapon...and special attacks...

Anyways with the new game comes 4 new flagship monsters. I have not seen any names for any of the monsters but the super-edgy blade-carnotaurus really caught my eye. So, with the little bit we can see from the trailers I pieced together some lineart for Edgysaurus. It may be off from the final product but I’m happy with it. I plan on giving it some color, if I have time before my trip.

So, I have been without a source of income for a week or so now and need to start getting some sort of money coming in. As such I am opening myself up for commissions! I am relatively new to the commission scene, but I will be accepting paypal for convenience issues.

Since I lacked a computer to work on proper art stuff, I spent the weekend doodling in Miiverse on the 3ds (as well as lots of monster hunting).

I’m pretty happy with the little pics and since people enjoyed the last set I figure some may like these as well.

So today we have Chameleos, Seregios, Diablos, and of course Deviljho. I think I may keep doing more of these. It may not be the most professional medium, but I’ve always had a soft spot for pointillism and this is some good practice.

So I’ve been house sitting this weekend which means I don’t have access to my computer. This unfortunately meant I couldn't work on art, or so I thought.

I’ve been playing an excessive amount of MH4U to stave off boredom, and in doing so realized that I could viably draw (in miiverse) on the 3ds. So I’ve been pumping out a few monster hunter related miiverse posts that I will compile and post when I get home Monday.

While the color job is super rushed, I managed to finish Svel’Sharak’s character sheet.

Coming up with expressions was the hard part, considering she is a reptile and they don’t emote too much. Also, in general Svel’Sharak is a rather cold bitch most of the time. So emoting is just not her thing.

Anyways, I might re touch up the color samples for myself later, but unfortunately I will be house/dog sitting for the weekend without my computer.

So no updates till Monday I suppose.

... Not that too many people are that interested, heh.
