To me, though, it still feels fresh and interesting...

I'm rewatching Sofia the First (last I saw it, I was in second grade) and I just finished "When You Wish Upon a Well" and I'm wondering what King Roland's other wish could have been? I thought maybe he wished for his first wife to vanish. Stay with me for a moment. In season one, Cedric gets extremely nervous around the king, hindering his ability to successfully perform magic. These nerves could be a result of Cedric crushing on King Roland. What if Roland reciprocated these feelings but realized that the only thing standing between him and Cedric was his wife? Arranged marriage, you know. Roland could have wished for he and Cedric to be together, causing that creepy wishing well to misunderstand and make the queen disappear. Roland knew the situation would look bad, so he then broke up with Cedric, and quickly took a second wife in Sofia's mother Miranda. Cedric felt so betrayed that he vowed to get revenge... and that's how he began his plot to take over the kingdom.

I LOVE Ruby's curls, and I'm glad Jade still has her glasses! Are their OG voice actors returning? I have a feeling they won't, but maybe!
