Right.
cristiangraham:
What’s this other so called lose?
Aren’t you that guy with the viral video?
Someone rear-ended my fucking car yesterday. The entire bumper fell off.
You just keep taking loses lately, don’t you?
-smoking out by an alley corner, flicking on and off his lighter in a nervous tic his hands shaking when he accidentally burns his finger- shit
What did you do now? -looks at the guy’s hand after noticing his reaction-

Forget about prince charming. Go for the wolf. He can see you better, hear you better and eat you better.

evacole:
“…you leaving hurt. But I expected it…because everyone leaves eventually. What hurt far more though, was you acting like I didn’t exist. Maybe that’s what you had to do to move on…but…that broke me.” Looking up into his eyes, she offered him a quiet thank you as he handed the bottles over. “You were the greatest love of my life, Jason. You ought to have known I wouldn’t be over you yet. I don’t think I’ll ever be fully over you…but that doesn’t mean I never want to hear from you again. If…if you ever want to talk, you know where to find me. I’ll always be there for you. Always.” She pressed soft kiss to his cheek, before heading up to the front door, turning to look at him just once more - after all, she didn’t know if she’d see him again.
Him leaving was the only option. It was what Jason needed to do for more reasons than just their break up. She couldn’t know that, though. She never would. Her words made the boy feel guilty about it. He didn’t need that. He reminded himself of why they didn’t work, why he needed to be on his own, everything he had learned since then. No. No, I wasn’t. He thought to himself. There was real love between them, and maybe she did believe that, but Jason couldn’t be the greatest love of her life, Because Eva never knew the real Jason. Even to this day, she would only know the Jason he wanted her to know. But all of that was his fault. Letting her fall in love with him. All the pain she would feel. That was his fault. He looked over for a moment before getting back into the car to drive away. Being filled with different emotions, he decided to stop the car after a few minutes of driving off. He sat in his car, looking at the clock. Three hours before he was going to see James Dean. Another person he’d acted like they didn’t exist.
evacole:
When he said that he didn’t want to come in, Eva felt her cheeks flush pink; she felt silly for even thinking he would want to come inside. She was just about to open the door and say goodbye, ready to go crawl underneath Christian’s duvet covers and hide from the world until he got home, when Jason spoke once more. Gaze softening, she turned back to look at him. Her Jason.
“Don’t…” She whispered. “Don’t apologize…I-I knew you. I knew you didn’t do commitment and I…I should have expected we wouldn’t last. It was my own fault for getting too comfortable…but neither one of us is responsible for…you not finding your home in me, like I did in you.” Eva could feel herself struggling to hold back her emotion. “Sometimes the world puts you with someone who isn’t ready for you…a-and it’s terrible, but it’s life. The world moves on, and…eventually, I guess you do too.” She offered him a weak smile, as she felt tears sting in her eyes. “I should go put the frozen food in the freezer. It…was nice seeing you, Jason. T-thank you for the um, ride…” Before she embarrassed herself any more, Eva climbed out the car and went to get the shopping, longing for the ground to swallow her up - the last thing she had wanted was to show Jason she wasn’t over him 6 months later.
“It was my fault, too. For not being honest with you, the moment things changed.” As she spoke, he remembered one way he had wronged her. Not telling her about his doubts right away. He kept it from her, thinking that he could get over it or that he could fix it on his own. If he had made the problem known to her, the blow wouldn’t have been so sudden and out of no where. Jason didn’t want to accept it, though. He didn’t want it to end. He didn’t want to hurt the girl. Ultimately, he hurt her more than necessary.
“Yeah, you do.” He breathed out looking back up. “Don’t focus on the past, though. Focus on the progress you’ve made.” He offered, and after a moment he slowly undid his seat belt. Jason made his way out of the car and to the back, to gather the bottles without a bag. He carried them over to the other side of the vehicle, handed the bottles to her. “Bye, Eva.” The girl would find someone that would make her happy one day. She’d forget all about him and be happy living that fairytale life she’d always wanted. After all, she was perfect.
