at last! the one, the only, murray mag'nesson. my apologies for leaving her literally half an hour from being finished for nearly two months while i got distracted by a new project but here she is, though she'll have to wait to get her own hoop on the wall alongside hal and bolaire cause i also forgot to buy some more hoops. that means professional sad boi azune is up next and he gets to go with me down to edinburgh for the live show woo!

might have been a touch ambitious to think i'd be done with elysium by the end of may but i have done a fair bit so proud of myself

elysium now! i want to see if i can finish elysium over may, i've made this my primary project i take to my weekly crafting group so we'll see how much i can get done!

as my first non-practice attempt at putting the skills i've learned to use i made morgana my cat, i'm quite pleased with how she turned out. got a ways to go but i think i've done well!

finished hal as well now, i've decided to pick a few colours with each character (hair or skin and eyes) to stand out a little. had a little trouble with finding the right green for hal, the first green was pretty but too light and became lost in the black so i unpicked it and redid it in a darker green. plus i added his grey hairs which was fun.

i have been bewitched body and soul by campaign 4 and this funky lad especially. initially i just wanted a wee crafting project i could do whilst watching the episodes but then at the beginning of feb i had to say goodbye to my dear furbaby morgana and crafting and watching critical role have been something to keep me sane and moving forward right now so yeah, expect more of these cause i haven't really stopped crafting.

bob now has a wonky friend, i have named him bill…i don't know if i'll name ALL the little guys given how many there will be but so far so good. but the most work has been on my hades embroidery! though the shading aspect of the trees and the labyrinth has been killing my hands aaaaaa, still enjoying it but fuck dude lol

we're back on my 'learning pixal art' gig but this time i'm actually studying and trying so here we are. from first attempt to slowly working up to making the master sword lol i feel like i'm getting the hang of it, i'm gonna try make a few wee things and lil guys but in the background i'm also gonna work on a landscape project and see how i do. im having fun and enjoying myself!

i've been enjoying this project so much it's taken over everything else project wise lol. so here's my progress over the course of nearly a month now. i'm very happy with it and really proud of how well i'm doing considering this is pretty much baby's first big embroidery project!

...i started a new project, even though i told myself i was gonna wait! i fell down the hades rabbit hole HARD so yeah inspired by the talented traceyfanclub and their own project, im doing an embroidered map of hades too. i'm excited! it took a wee bit of fanangling to manipulate the original image made by joanne tran so it was purely black and white and the lines stood out, and then to work it into manageable a4 printable chunks that all lined up but i did it! eeeee! this is gonna be fun!! this is also my first time doing embroidery beyond a wee practice kit so fingers crossed!

eight months of on and off stitching and i feel like i've made good progress...this'll still take years but i'm enjoying myself. apparently i'm just over 2000 stitches so woo!
