I wish I didn't have these memories of you. I can close my eyes and see you...see us. I miss you.

I'm completely amazed how one song can be so powerful and meaningful to me so much that it brings me to my knees and makes me cry like a baby. I am gracefully broken, but still a beautiful mess.

The other day it was one of those drunk nights...the kind that makes me miss you too much and always more than I should. So I drank you away...at least for that night you weren't on my mind. Quick fix, but not a permanent solution.

Maybe one day...

You did again. I've been missing my mom a lot lately, especially with October being breast cancer awareness month. I go to postsecret website today, which I do every Sunday, and then I see this secret...her mantra. I sure miss you mom. I'm sorry for not being a better son. It's one of my biggest regrets. Thank you Frank I needed this today more than you'll ever know.
