Abstragedy fanfic that takes place in-between episode 3 & 4, I wanted to write this fanfic to explain why Zooble suddenly started being nicer to Gangle in episode 4. Disclaimer, Zooble is kind of an A$$hole in this. Also self harm.
Zooble had just got done with their "therapy" session with Caine and wanted to be alone. They were walking to their room when they accidentally bumped into Gangle, she dropped her notebook and immediately started apologizing profusely. "I'm so sorry!"
"It's fine" Zooble said in an annoyed tone.
"I-im sorry for being annoying"
Zooble felt a little bit of pity but brushed it aside. "yeah okay".
Gangle quickly scurried away as Zooble stood there, they were about to go when they noticed Gangle had left her notebook behind. Even though Zooble never really talked to Gangle in the time they were there, they still wanted to make sure her notebook was returned to her. They were walking to her room when they heard her voice. It was unintelligible mumbles with occasional grunts of what seemed to be pain. Zooble opened the door and as they walked in, they saw Gangle with her ribbon hand in one of her drawers. Before Zooble could say anything, Gangle slammed the drawer on her hand and winced. Zooble was shocked and confused for a second and then they could hear what Gangle was mumbling. "Deserve it, deserve it"
"Gangle, what the #$//?" Gangle looked back in shock and fear when she heard Zooble.
"no no nonono NO!" She slowly collapsed to the floor and hid her face.
"Gangle are- are you alright?" Zooble was shaking, even though they didn't know her that well, Zooble still didn't want Gangle to hurt herself.
"Don't look at me, please don't look at me". Gangle was shaking.
"look, i- it's ok I- you-, you don't deserve to be hurt like that"
"THAN WHY DON'T YOU DO ANYTHING TO STOP HIM?" Gangle was full on bawling now, and Zooble stood there stunned, they started to think back to how they had just stood by and let Jax do whatever he wanted with her.
"I-... I'm sorry" Zooble slowly walked over to Gangle's bed and grabbed a blanket, bringing it to her, and wrapping her in it. Gangle stopped crying after a bit, but was still shivering bad. "I'm so, so sorry, you're right, I should've at least tried". Zooble was sitting next to Gangle, trying to comfort them. "I promise I won't just let him do whatever he wants to you". They helped Gangle up "You should get some sleep". Gangle nodded her head and went to bed. Zooble watched Gangle crawl into bed, and before Zooble left they said. "You deserve so much better than this". Before going to their room.
