"It would be so cool to have my own business by the time I'm 30," I said to my then boyfriend, when I was just 23, drunk on vodka and fairly uncertain of what the fuck I would do with a double major in communication and gender studies. Today, on my 30th birthday, my now husband presented me with this neon sign he had made (thanks @mrchamo). It reads "Jane Says," which is the name of the creative copywriting agency I whipped up after taking the freelance plunge last March. Aside from starting my own company, I wear a lot less eyeliner, significantly more lipstick, and have traded in the vodka for a "sipping" tequila (which I'm about to take a shot of). #JaneSays #ThisIs30 #BestHusband
