“y/n! I’m glad you were able to make it!” Your boyfriend smiled at the sight of you. “Of course! I’m glad I get to meet everyone! Not just cause they also have powers but mainly because they’re your best friends.” He laughed “Which is why I don’t know if I want them to meet you. You might stop liking me if you do.” He pouted and you kissed him on the cheek. “That would never happen! If anything I’d love you all the more.” He looked pleased by your answer and the two of you walked into the Karaoke room.

“Y/N!” Inside the room were five other men ecstatically shouting your name. You could barely hear you boyfriend as he sighed. “y/n, this is m/n1, m/n2, m/n3, m/n4, and last but not least m/n5. And~ of course you already know me, m/n” He gave you a cheeky smile.

“C’mon y/n! We all already sang! It’s your turn!” “Aw but I want to hear you guys sing first!” “She is a guest. It’s the least we can do.” Your boyfriend pointed out. They all sighed “Fine.” The six of them together felt like a big family and you were happy to be part of it. Even though you met the others, you never regretted the decisions and the things that happened. You loved your boyfriend and you also wanted to be part of this “power” family.

They all took turns and you noticed how amazing they all sang and how well Jin Jin and Rocky rapped. You also caught Moonbin and Rocky dancing on the side when they weren’t singing. When they handed you the mic to sing you asked them. “You guys are amazing! You guys should be idols!” They all looked confused, shocked, and embarrassed. 

“Idols of a different kind… Since we have powers and people think we’re weird wouldn’t it be like we’re aliens that came from the stars?” MJ pointed out. You gasped “That’s it! Your greeting could be something like ‘Want to be your star!’ no… I know! ‘Wanna be your star!’ it’s cute and has a lot of meaning behind it… And your group name could be ASTRO! Since it means the space of everything and you guys can all control different elements.” 

You continued on and on till you ran out of ideas. They all laughed and said they would never do it and that they weren’t talented enough. You let it go and enjoyed the rest of the night with your new family.

“Mmmmm the person I choose is….” -Ding Dong- “Oh. That must be the food we ordered. I’ll get the tip. Can you open the door y/n?” You nodded as she went to her room. You went up to the door, phone still in hand with Yoon Fire’s profile opened up. As soon as you saw the tall boy in front of you- you did a double take between him and the phone. He still didn't notice as he looked at the receipt and checked the order.

“y/n what are you doing? Get the- huh?” She gasp and the two of you just looked at him. Finally, he looked up as he placed the bags on the ground and looked confused. why would someone put the food on the ground idk but i didn't want him to drop it lol He then saw the phone in your hand, and gasped as he covered his mouth. “Your snowflake!” He pointed at you and started jumping. “This must be fate!” He beamed and took a hold of your hand.

“I'm Yoon Sanha! But you can call me Sanha!... Just you...” He looked at your friend as he whispered pretty loud whisper the last line to you. Still in shock you gave an apprehensive smile “I’m y/l/n y/n. You can call me y/n then...” He smiled at you sweetly. He looked so young and like a child- all you wanted to do was protect him. Sensing she was unwanted by Sanha of course your friend gave him the tip, picked up the food and went into the kitchen.

“Are you free tomorrow?” He smiled innocently. You nodded. “Will you go with me tomorrow? There’s a fair in town and I’ve been wanting to go but my hyungs don’t want to go with me anymore. Jin Jin hyung says I’m too old to be this excited about fairs now. Plus... I’d think I’d rather go with you.” You blushed and nodded. He giggled, “You’re so cute! Not as cute as me though... Mmmm no! You are cuter than me!” He said as he got closer to you making you blush more. 

Your faces were so close you thought he was about to kiss you. but nope cuz he's still an innocent child He jumped back up and gave you a bright smile. “I’ll pick you up at ten!” He began to run away while waving back at you. “So~ I guess you chose him then?” Your friend gave you a nudge with a playful look on her face. You made a snow cloud above her. “Y/N! I was kidding! I’ll help you pick an outfit for tomorrow! Just stop it!” You sighed as you walked away to your room and began to pick your outfit for tomorrow- not knowing what to expect from the bright and cute boy.

Meanwhile: “YOON SANHA! Why does our stove fire keep getting stronger!” “User error~” He joked as he stuck out his tongue. Suddenly he felt a shock from his hyung and he ran away to his room. To be honest, his heart was on fire after seeing you. He drifted off to sleep as he thought about ways to make tomorrow special. “Ah! HYUNG! A BUG!” “It’s just a dust bunny Sanha...” “Oh..”

You were all ready and nervous. It was almost ten am and you were sitting on the couch waited. “y/n, I know your nervous but you’re gonna turn into ice at this rate.” “Ah. Sorry... His power is fire...” “And?” “Mine. Is snow...” “So?” “Aren't they total opposites????” You accidentally yelled at her. “Just cuz his powers are the opposite of your’s doesn’t mean the two of you would be entirely opposite people. I mean he seemed really sweet and totally your type last night... Plus~ He can melt your snow for you so we don’t constantly have a bathroom filled with snow~” She dodged the snowball you threw at her and the doorbell rang. “Saved by the bell” You glared at her.

“Hi y/n!” Sanha stood at the door waving excitedly at you. “Hi Sanha! Bye bestie~... Oh and by the way~ You have a gift in your room! Run Sanha!” You grabbed his hand and ran from the door barely hearing your best friend yelling at you to stop the snow storm in her room.

Panting and laughing, the two of you slowed your pace. “What was that?” Sanha asked curiously. “Oh... She was messing with me before you got there so... I started a blizzard in her room...” You blushed realizing how embarrassing and childish it was but Sanha laughed. “Wow! I wish I could do that!... In stead I only burn things down...” Suddenly you remembered what his profile said “almost set my house on fire as a kid.” “I think there’s beauty in fire. Plus, I can only create. I can never melt my own snow or make it disappear.” His face suddenly lit up, “Really?? I can melt it for you then!” You smiled and noticed steam rising. You looked down, Sanha following your gaze, and noticed it the steam coming from your hands that were still intertwined.

Simultaneously you both spoke, “Ah sorry. my body gets [colder/hotter] when I’m nervous.” You made eye contact and both blushed. “Maybe it is ok to be opposites.” you thought. The two of you continued to walk hand in hand to the fair.

Finally at the fair, the two of you played various games at the booth. Every time Sanha lost he would instantly yell in disappointment, pout and suggest he could beat you at the next game. As you passed by a game booth with a prize, you noticed a cute stuffed toy these are of good quality not those really cheap ones and Sanha noticed. “y/n, do you want that? I’ll win it for you!” He immediately payed the worker and picked up the toy gun. His stance was funny but he looked so serious that it made him cute.

He had five tries to knock down the duck cut-out. First one: missed to the left. Second: way too high. Third: this time too low. Four: he sneezed and accidentally shot straight up. He immediately looked around to see if anyone noticed and turned red when he saw you laughing. You shot up your pointer finger to remind him he only had one shot left. He took his stance again and shot. -Ping Ping Ping- The buzzer went off and the worker congratulated him. He knocked it down perfectly earning him the stuffed toy you wanted. “See! I told you I could win it for you!”

You blushed “Thank you.” He smiled his innocent smile. You gave him a kiss on the cheek and his face turned to shock. You laughed as you grabbed his hand and ran off to go on the rides.

It was already late and the sky had turned dark. The two of you walked home but he led you to an open space at the edge of town next to the river. if you read Moonbin and Rocky’s story lines its the same place “What are we doing here Sanha?” He motioned for you to sit on the grass. “I was thinking about and I decided I wanted to show you how pretty my fire can be...” He stood in the center of a giant circle where no grass was growing.

He bowed and lit up flames in the palm of his hands. He began to juggle them slowly adding more and more. Every time he added a new one it was a slightly different color and slowly it became a gradient of yellow, orange, red, blue, and white. Back and forth between his hands was a beautiful rainbow of fire. Suddenly they flew up and created a circle above him. He began to add flames to the center of the circle. Once he was done, the circle of flames turned and moved down to face you. It wasn’t a circle anymore but a red and orange heart with blue flames making a snowflake in the middle.

He split the flames in half making them disperse just barely within the circle’s limits. He began to walk towards you. With every step he took, the circle of fire went down. Scared the fire would hit the grass- you got up and shouted, “Sanha! Your fire! Be careful!” But it was too late. He stood in front of you and grabbed both of your hands and said “I love you” with his innocent smile. The fire hit the ground just as he said it.

Instead of the grass going up in flames, the fire followed a straight line and suddenly. -BOOM BOOM BOOM- Fireworks began to go off above the river in front of you leaving your mouth agape. “It’s so pretty!” You looked back at him. “But not as pretty as you.” He grinned. You continued to watch the fireworks with him as you both lay down on the grass.

“Mmmmm the person I choose is….” The screen suddenly changed -RING RING- “Ugh! Sorry y/n, it’s h/b/n. Let me just talk to him really quick.” She took the phone and went into her room. You sighed and thought “I guess this gives me time to think... But that one guy was cute. He’s like a puppy and a cat... puppycat!” You giggled at your own thought and stopped as you heard her come back.

“y/n! My B heard about these awesome street performers and they have a performance today and he wants us to go with him to watch!” “You know I don’t really feel like going out still...” “C’mon y/n! You won't regret it! I swear!” Without waiting for your reply, she pulled you up and pushed you to your room to change and out you went.

The three of you got to an open space near the edge of town next to the river. You followed the crowd of people gathering in a circle. As you walked, people pushed and shoved their way through to get a good spot. You looked around as people continued to push you forward. “y/b/n! h/b/n!” You called out for them but got no reply. You were completely separated from them. “Ugh! This is why I didn't want to come.” you thought.

Suddenly a hand gently grabbed you. “Here. Come this way.” Just wanting to get out of the crowd- you followed the person’s pull. As you slowly got out of the crowd, you could see the person’s back. It wasn't your best friend or her boyfriend- it was a tall well built man. Right when your flight instincts kicked in, he let go and turned around smiling. “Puppycat!” You yelled and covered your mouth in embarrassment. “I’m sorry! I didn't mean that!” You bowed and he started laughing. “It’s ok! I get that a lot” His smile was sweet and innocent.

You looked around and realized he had brought you to a less crowded area of the circle. “You can get a good view from here... You look familiar?” He cocked his head. “Oh.. I’m...” “Moonbin! C’mon! We have to finish getting ready! We’re about to start!” A shorter man yelled to him from a distance away. “I’ll be right there!” He looked back to you and smiled. “Enjoy the show alright?” He turned around but suddenly turned to you again, “Can I see you again after the show?” His eyes hopeful like a puppy as he waited for your reply. He was so cute you couldn’t help but blush and nod your head. He beamed a smile and ran off to the shorter man.

Intro music began and everyone started to sit on the ground. Unsure of where your best friend and her boyfriend were you sat down and watched the performance. It was spectacular and captivating. Both of them were amazing dancers and they used their powers to make it all the more captivating. see Rocky’s story line for more details “I don’t regret coming anymore.” You smiled and just as you did- you made eye contact with Moonbin and... DID HE JUST SMIRK AND WINK AT YOU??? No he couldn’t have. It’s just your imagination... No its not. He really did smirk and wink at you but you keep thinking as you like.

The performance swiftly came to an end and slowly the crowd dispersed. Still you couldn’t find your friend. “She probably thought I went home...” “Puppycat!” You turned around to find Moonbin running towards you- a big smile on his face. You giggled as he stopped right in front of you. “Puppycat?” “Well I don’t know your name so I didn't know how else to get your attention?” You began to laugh “My name is y/n. It’s nice to meet you Binnie.” He looked at you shocked. 

“How..” You formed a light snow cloud above his head and it clicked for him. “Your Snowflake! It’s nice to meet you!” He became giddy and you stopped the snowfall above him. He calmed down “I should properly introduce myself... My name’s Moonbin!... You can call me puppycat as my pet name if you want.” He gave you a cheeky smile and winked. 

Before you could properly reply- from across the circle, the shorter man and some other men started to call him over. He sighed and pouted his lips. “Sorry y/n, I have to go... Are you free tomorrow?” You nodded. “Cool! I’ll pick you up at 10am! Just send me your phone number and address on the site.” He beamed and turned to walk away. He turned around again to face you, “Oh! We’re going to the beach by the way!” He waved bye as he ran off to his friends.

You walked home thinking about what to prepare for tomorrow and comprehend everything that had happened tonight. A sudden thought hit you, “Did y/b/n bring me here and leave me on purpose?” You decided to bury her room in snow when you get back to the apartment and debated on telling her what happened.

It was a nice day out- just the perfect weather to go to the beach. To your luck, there weren’t that many people at the beach and the two of you set up your spot. As you placed the blanket down, Moonbin placed the picnic basket, cooler, and bags on top. You were surprised when he picked you up with a picnic basket and cooler in hand. “Do you want to eat first or go swimming?” You could swear he had ears and a tail with the way he was looking at you.

You sat down on the blanket and began to reach for the basket. “We can eat first” you smiled. He quickly grabbed the basket before you could and sat down facing you looking delighted. If he had a tail, it would've been wagging. “I wasn’t sure what you would want but I figured I couldn’t go wrong with this. Plus, we’re at the beach so it only makes sense to have this!” He took out a small portable charcoal grill from the basket and turned it on. 

He then took pre-cut meat in containers from the cooler and looked at you to see your reaction. Once he saw your smile he looked please and went on to cook the meat. You took out the utensils and rice bowls he had in the basket and began to chuckle at how excited he seemed. He was jumping up and down in place and making weird but cute sounds as he cooked the meat. 

“Moonbin you really like meat don’t you?” “Of course!... I just can’t cook it well... Sanha... Umm Yoon Fire. Always complains that I burn it or don’t cook it evenly... And then I blame him for making the fire so strong.” He laughed as he picked up a piece of meat. “Ah.” He looked at you and motioned his chopsticks to you. “Ah?” You opened your mouth and he fed the meat to you as he giggled. You blushed and picked up a piece of meat and fed it to him.

A sudden thought hit you. “Moonbin? Why did you help me out of the crowd last night? How did you even see me?” He looked at you deep in thought. After a few seconds he finally answered, “Well... I was watching the people walking in and I saw this beautiful girl, you, and for some reason you felt familiar so I went to find you in the crowd... When I finally saw you, you looked lost and were calling out for some people so I figured I’d help you...” He gave a shy smile and you blushed. He broke the silence first, “Let’s keep eating!”

“Eh???? You can recognize your friends by scent?” The two of you continued to talk as you finished up your lunch and relaxed before heading out to the water. He nodded his head, “They say I have good olfactory senses. Plus, I like to smell things a lot; especially food. So they often tell me that’s why people think I’m like a dog too. I’m alway sniffing the air.” He laughed and suddenly got up and offered a hand to you. “Let go swimming?” You took his offer and got up. 

“First one there gets the last soda!” You laughed as you ran ahead of him. Half way to the water, a big blob of water came out and went passed you to Moonbin. He got on it and it pulled him straight in to the body of water ahead of you. “Cheater!” You playfully splashed him and pouted as soon as you caught up. Suddenly, he was behind you and hugged you. “Sorry y/n~ but I really wanted that soda.” He pouted back. “I know how I can make it up to you!” he smirked as you turned around. 

“Do you want to surf?” he asked. “That would be fun!... But I don't see any surf board rental shops here?” “We don't need it!” You looked at him confused. Swiftly, he faced his back to you and wrapped your arms around his torso. “Don’t let go!” he yelled. 

Just as you processed what happened, you tightened your grip. The two of you were surfing on water with a board he had made out of water. He controlled the waves making sure the two of you didn't fall off. It was fun and exciting, but you didn't dare lose your grip out of fear of falling. or was it cuz you just wanted to hug him~

Finally, the two of you fell into the water and you noticed it was already almost time for dinner. The two of you looked at each other and laughed. He grabbed your hand and looked into your eyes with a calm smile “y/n...” You began to sit comfortably on top of the water of course Moonbin’s doing “One day I want to show you how beautiful it is underwater... So one day would you come here again with me?” 

You shook your head and he gave a disappointed look and looked down. “No. I don’t want to come here one more time with you... I want to come back here many more times with you.” His head shot up with a smile on his face. “Really?!?” He shouted and hugged you. “I have so many more things I want to show you in the future!” You giggled “Ok my puppycat~ But I’ll show you all the fun possibilities of winter!” “I can’t wait.” He giggled.

“Mmmmm the person I choose is…” “You’re gonna say R.O.C.K.Y. aren’t you?” she said rolling her eyes. You shrugged, “What~? He seems like a fun person? I mean just look at his name!... Plus, he looks like he has a lot of swag~.” She scoffed and rolled her eyes again, “Just give him your number and give me my phone back.”

“Hi! I’m y/n. My friend wants her phone back haha. Do you mind txting my number? XXX-XXX-XXXX”

A few minutes later, you received a text on your phone:

“Hi y/n! This is R.O.C.K.Y! My real name is Minhyuk, but you can call me Rocky :)”

“Rocky~” “Is there a reason why you’re nickname is Rocky?”

....

“And so that’s why my nickname is Rocky.” “Plus it sounds cool~ Rocky Swag~”

“Hahaha! I was telling my friend you had swag :D She didn't believe me though.”

“Pshhh! I’m full of swag”

Weeks continued to pass as the two of you texted. Never meeting in person because your schedules never matched up. Until finally, almost a month after “meeting”, the perfect opportunity arose:

“y/n are you free tomorrow night?”

“I should be! Are we finally going to meet in person~? :D”

“Haha yes! I have a street performance tomorrow night and I was wondering if you wanted to come watch :)”

“I’d love to!”

[Cue Rocky doing fist pumps and almost hitting JinJin]

“I’ll see you at 5 then! [x address]”

You began to rummage through your closet and drawers for the perfect outfit and texted your best friend the news. Meanwhile: “Rocky-ah~ if you don’t calm down your gonna bring our house down.” “Sorry hyung.”

It was only four-thirty, but you were already walking up to the address Rocky had sent you. It was an open field at the edge of town near a river. As you got closer, you heard someone calling your name as they ran towards you. “y/n! I’m so glad you made it!... You look more beautiful in person than I imagined.” Rocky gave a shy and sweet smile. “Thank you, it’s nice to finally meet you in person. I can’t wait to see you dance!... Who’s that?” You motioned to the person “hiding” behind him. tbh he’s taller than Rocky so you could totally see him

The taller man stood next to Rocky and began to wave to you. “This is my best friend; my dance partner; and my hyung, Moonbin.” Moonbin smiled and gave you a bow “It’s nice to meet you, y/n. Rocky talks about you all the time!” Rocky hit his side and gave an embarrassed chuckle. “It’s nice to meet you too!”

“We’ll catch up with you after the performance ok? We need to go get ready. Make sure you find a good spot!” Rocky ran off with Moonbin to the field not before giving you an innocent smile. You followed the crowd of people and round a spot near the red tape. Red tape??? Yes they had red tape on the ground creating a circle. In the middle of the circle was dirt. No one dared pass it so you copied them. Soon intro music began to play and everyone began to sit down on the grass- you followed their lead.

The music began to play a smooth- calming beat as Moonbin and Rocky walked into the center of the circle. As the beat began to become upbeat, Moonbin began to dance. His movements smooth and enchanting. Water began to move from the river to the circle and creating a small moat between them and the audience. Moonbin passed on the dance to Rocky. The ground began to shake as he danced- the ground lifted about a foot off the ground, he created a small stage for them. His dance was captivating and impressive. He always talked about how well he danced but you never knew he was THIS good.

The two of them began to dance together. It was spectacular! Not only were they good at dancing, but they also knew how and when to use their powers perfectly. Their stage looked like it was pulsing as the ground below them would create a pulse every step they took think of the waves on water when a drop hits still water. As they got closer to the climax of their dance, the water jumped up to create a wall; ending just above the stage. The water danced along with them as it created a constant wave around them. Rocky “punched” the ground and Moonbin jumped up. The water following him up- collecting into a ball right above them. The ball of water burst into mist, replicating a firework.

Everyone got up and began cheering. The performers bowed and thanked the audience for coming as the ground below them went back to normal. As the crowd dispersed, after some personally congratulated them Rocky ran up to you with a big smile on his face. You hugged him “That was amazing! How come you never said you were THAT good???” He had the cutest embarrassed face you had ever seen as he gave a nervous chuckle and began to stutter. 

Moonbin walked over to save his friend “So you liked our performance?” You nodded ecstatically. Rocky finally recovering from the hug jumped up, “See I’m full of swag~ Rocky Swag~” Moonbin said his goodbyes, gave rocky a nudge and a wink, and walked away to greet a group of fans. “I wish I could dance.” You sighed. “I could teach you!” the ground below your feet shook as Rocky jumped from excitement causing you to loose balance. Rocky caught you as you fell forward. 

Your face started to turn red as soon as you noticed how close your faces were. “Ah... Sorry y/n, I got a bit excited there.” He apologized as you back away. You gave a nervous chuckle, “It’s ok and about teaching me... I think it would be fun!... But I would probably be better in the background though.” He smirked “I would want to dance a couple’s dance one time... Specifically with you.” You blushed but he didn't stop there, “And I want everyone to see how beautifully you can dance. How beautiful your power is... And how lucky I would be to have you.”

He took a hold of your hand, “y/n, will you dance with me on stage one day?” You couldn’t say no after everything he said- not with how sweet he was being. You nodded and this time he pulled you into his embrace. On the outside, he was acting calm and cool, but on the inside he was freaking out. He held your hand again, “I’m hungry. Do you want to get some food before I walk you home?” Your stomach answered for you and the two of you laughed.

“Mmmmm the person I choose is….” “Why don’t you go on a date with Chazoom first!” Before you could respond to your best friend’s comment, she snatched her phone from your hands and ran into her room to hide. “YA! Y/B/N! What are you doing????” One the other side of the door you could hear her giggling as she typed away at her phone.

Giving up on opening the door, you slowly started to form a snow cloud and had it go under the door. “Y/N! Make it stop snowing!” She yelled. “Give me the phone!” “NO!” you made the small storm cloud inside grow stronger and stronger. “Fine! Just make it stop!” You made the cloud disappear and she opened the door.

“You have a date tomorrow night~ Make sure you dress up nice and your ready by 5!” She quickly ran out of the apartment after sharing the news with you.

At ten to five o’clock there was a knock at the door. “Coming!” You yelled from your room as you did your finishing touches. You could hear your best friend greet the guest and offer them inside. Suddenly, you heard someone running to your door and your friend barges in just as you finish. “OH MY GOSH Y/K! If you end up not liking him I am more than willing to break up with h/b/n and be with him!” You put a snow cloud over her head making her stay in the room so as not to embarrass herself in front of the guest.

As you walked into the living room, you could have sworn you saw an angel. He got up and gave you the sweetest, most beautiful and perfect smile you had ever seen. “Hi! My name is Cha Eunwoo. But you don’t have to be so formal with me.” You almost asked him if it was a dream. If he was even real! “Hi... I’m y/l/n y/n. Since we’re being informal, you can just call me y/n.” You blushed as he giggled, “Your name is as beautiful as a snowflake. No wonder you were blessed with the power of snow.” You had never heard someone laugh so sweetly till now. “Shall we get going?” He nodded his head to door and offered his arm to you. Bashful, you locked your arm around his and tried to hide your red face from his view.

You looked around the restaurant as you were waited to your booth. Eunwoo had brought you to a fancy restaurant and all you could think about was how could he possibly afford it. “Is it too fancy here? I wanted to bring you somewhere nice for our first date, but if it’s not to your liking we can go somewhere else.” He smiled but his worry showed. You looked at him hiding your blush with the menu “It’s fine... It’s just... No one has ever brought me to a restaurant like this.” His smile turned sweet again “Pick anything you want! Make sure you leave room for desert. I heard that their cake is the best.”

The two of you chatted as you ate learning more about each other:

“Rocky is the best dancer I know! He’s a prodigy! One time he was teaching me but I got too excited and made him fly into the wall... Ever since then he has refused to teach me.” He blushed out of embarrassment. “I’m sure you’re really good at dancing! One time you should show me what you learned!” He blushed even more and gave his shy-sweet smile.

The two of you walked down the streets continuing to get to know one another. You were happy it was night time and you could hide the blush on your face:

“May I hold your hand?” He asked sweetly with his perfect smile to match “You may...”

Since then the scene has been repeating in your head as you walk holding hands. How could someone be so perfect and a perfect gentleman to match! It made you wonder how could he not find a girl who accepted him and his powers.

Finally, you reached your destination. It was the tallest building in the city and a popular tourist/dating spot. He looked to you, let go of your hand and asked, “Are you afraid of heights?” You shook your head, “No... But aren’t they closed now?” He giggled “Ya. But, the city is most stunning after they're closed.” He reached his hands out to you as he stood in front of you with his dazzling smile. You placed your hands in his and he suddenly wrapped one arm around your waist- the other still holding your hand.

Embarrassed you looked away and noticed what was really happening. “Are we flying????” Once again, he only giggled and looked up to your destination. Scared, you let go of his hand and hugged him- avoiding looking down. “You can let go now.” He laughed as you looked down and let go of your embrace. “You should hold my hand... Just in case.” You did as told and looked around. 

The two of you were at the roof of the building. It was beautiful looking down at the city. The different colors, shapes, and sizes was beautiful and from above you could barely hear the busy city noise. Eunwoo guided you to the edge of the roof and sat with your feet dangling. “Don’t worry. We won’t fall... If you do, I’ll catch you.” Somehow he knew the right words to make you blush and his gorgeous smile didn't help.

For a while, the two of you sat in silence taking in the view while holding hands. “y/n, I often come here when I’m stressed, or confused, or even angry... I actually come here quite often. It’s my small getaway from the world down there... I actually made my profile and found your’s while I was up here.” He giggled. It was sweet to think he showed this place to you but it also made you think of unwanted questions... “Eunwoo... Why did you make a profile? I mean. I’m sure lots of girls go after you. Your perfect!”

He tightened his grip to your hand and sighed. “Everyone always thought I was perfect. Looks, brains, status, money. Everything! But I never thought I was. The funny thing is, is that the only thing I really liked about myself was my powers... But everyone else saw it as my only fault. As a curse. Every girl that pursued me thought that way too. They never gave me a chance because they only looked at everything else... So~ my friends and I all decided to make accounts. I was hesitant and had to think about it, so I flew up here.” He looked at you, “I’m happy I did because I found you.” His eyes watery, but his voice and smile sweet.

Just as you were about to comment- he got up and pulled you up. “Do you mind if I fly you home?” You smiled and shook your head. This time, he stood behind you and wrapped both arms around your waist. You held on tightly to his arms as the two of you flew in the air. The scenery just as fascinating as from the rooftop.

The two of you landed right in front of your door. As you were unlocking the door you told him, “Eunwoo. Thank you for tonight. I had a really good time...” You looked him in the eyes and smiled brightly, “I’m really happy you made a profile and I’m really happy you shared all of those things with me! I hope we get to know each other more.” You kissed him on the cheek making him turn red. You ran inside to tell your best friend all about the date.

As Eunwoo walked home, his phone began to ring. “CHA EUNWOO! FLY HOME RIGHT NOW!” “HYUNG!! You’re gonna make a tornado in the city if you don't control your powers!” “Eunwoo!!!!! Tells us all about your date when you get home!” Eunwoo laughed at his friends as he calmed the wind down and began to fly home.

“Mmmmm the person I choose is…. Oh look! M-Shine just messaged me! Great minds think a like.” You laughed as your friend rolled her eyes “Well first give him your number so I can have my phone back.” You quickly greeted him and asked him to text you to your personal number.

“Hi! I’m M-shine! Well my real name is Myungjun but my friends call me MJ! Or you can call me 777 haha jk thats an inside joke. I’ll share the story with you one day :D”

“Well he sure likes to talk..” You threw a snow ball at her. This time she dodged it and ran to her room. You were happy he didn't seem awkward like he did in his picture.

“Hi MJ! My name’s y/n! It’s nice to meet you! I’m definitely interested to here about how you got the nickname 777 ^.^”

“Are you free tomorrow????? I would rather introduce myself properly in person sooner than later :)”

“Of course! I’d love to meet you in person!”

“YAY!!!!! Meet me at this address! [x address] I hope you like painting and going to the park! I’ll see you tomorrow 12pm!”

“I can't wait!”

You smiled. Even though the two of you had only been talking for a few minutes, his texts seemed so happy- you couldn’t help but smile. “I better get some rest because I have a feeling tomorrow is gonna be a thrilling day!” You stopped by your best friend’s room to tell her the news and get help picking an outfit for tomorrow.

Meanwhile... “MJ hyung! Your gonna blind us!” Rocky yelled as he covered his eyes. “Hyung, the neighbors are gonna think the sun is in our apartment if you keep glowing like that.” “See that’s why you guys need to be prepared and wear sunglasses.” the second oldest walked into the room casually. “Make sure not to blind her tomorrow.” He smiled and slowly let the light from his body fade.

You walked up to the building and outside waiting was a boy constantly looking around think like a meerkat. Finally, he saw you and quickly ran up to you... A little too close for comfort. He immediately smiled and you couldn’t help but smile back. Seeing his smile- it was almost like all you worries in life were gone. “I’m MJ! It’s nice to meet you in person, princess.” He said as he bowed and let out a giggle. You couldn’t help but giggle back as you curtsied. “I’m y/n. It’s nice to meet you too!” Suddenly, he grabbed your hand and started dragging you inside. “Come on! We’re gonna have so much fun today!”

Inside the building was: shelves and cabinets filled with blank plates, mugs, phone cases, vases, and clay figurines; a table with baskets filled with beads of all different colors, styles, shapes and sizes; and lines of tables in the middle filled with brushes, water bowls and paint. “Pick anything you want to do! My treat!” He smiled as he let go of your hand and went towards the mugs. Overwhelmed by all the choices, you followed him to the mugs. He looked at you and pouted “Do you not like it here? We can go somewhere else if you want!” “Oh! No I love it here! I’m just... overwhelmed... I don’t know what I want to do.” He suddenly smiled and you could feel a light bulb in his head go off. Mainly cuz he started to glow which shocked you lol 

“How about we both design a mug, but we make it for the other person!” You nodded and smiled which in turn caused MJ to glow brighter. “YAY!... Oh sorry..” He stopped glowing after noticing you covering your eyes and his smile disappear “When I get excited and happy I can’t help but glow... Usually girls..” You cut him off “I think its cute! I’ll remember to bring sunglasses next time” you giggled which made his smile come back. You knew what it was like to get rejected because of your powers, so you empathized with him, but unlike you who could hide your powers- it didn’t seem like it was possible for him to hide his very long.

He picked up two mugs of the same size and led you to a table. The two of you got to work painting the mugs in silence. Occasionally you would look up to watch him paint. He had the cutest face while working so seriously. His tongue slightly peeking out his lips and his brows burrowed. Unbeknownst to you, he would look up at you when you weren’t looking. He found the smile you made as you painted so sweet and cute.

After a while, MJ got up hiding his mug from your view and walked to the cashier. He handed her the mug and you hid yours from his view as he walked back. “I already payed for them. You can give her your mug to let it dry. We can come pick them up after we eat!” He started to clean up the table as you gave the cashier your mug.

As you walked down the street, everything seemed brighter. You weren’t sure if it was because MJ was making it brighter or because you were with him that the world seemed brighter. With a bounce to his walk, MJ walked a little bit ahead of you obviously excited for the next stop. He turned around, “Do you mind eating at the park?” You shook your head.

The two of you got to the park and bought food at the small food stand. The park was small but cute and had a playground. The two of you sat at a bench next to the playground; chatting and talking:

“And that’s why they call me 777!”... “Wait, so how did Chazoom mess up the room?” “Well, we were all dancing and then he got too excited and started spinning! SPINNING Y/N! So of course he started a tornado in our room!”

After finishing your food, a small group of preschoolers came to the playground. “Hyung!” “Oppa!” they all yelled and ran to MJ giving him a big group hug. The preschool teachers giggled and stood next to you.

“Hyung let’s play!” “Let’s play!” One by one they all started to yell excitedly. The teacher silenced them and said, “Kids, MJ oppa is with a friend right now. He can’t play today.” They looked so disappointed and sad. “It’s okay! Oppa can play with you for right now.” You smiled as the kids’ faces all lit up. MJ looked back with worry on his face as the kids dragged him to the playground. You gave him a reassuring nod to let him know it was fine.

“We always bring the kids here every tuesday and thursday. One day MJ was walking by and started playing with the kids.” The two teachers began to giggle. “At first we thought he was a kidnapper or something, but then we saw how pure hearted he seemed.” With your curiosity was peaked, you asked “How so?”

The three of you sat down on the bench facing the playground as the two teachers began to take turns telling the story. “The kids were playing and for the most part ignoring him since he was a stranger. One of the kids was new at the time. He was shy and didn’t have any friends yet. He never even smiled with us!” “k/n was sitting at the edge of the playground watching the other kids play.  We didn’t even notice until MJ-shi went up to him!” “I got up to go over and scare him away but then we saw his smile. It felt so pure and innocent and as soon as I got up to them, k/n was already laughing and playing with him.” 

“Mj-shi was doing a shadow show using his powers. Soon the other kids noticed and started watching too. k/n was so excited he kept explaining to them what the shadows were. He was suddenly so comfortable around everyone!” “MJ-shi even walked up to us when we were leaving and sincerely apologized for seeming sketchy. We told him our schedule and told him to stop by whenever.” “Ever since then, MJ-shi stops by and plays with the kids and they love him...” You didn’t notice, but throughout the story, you started to smile and watch MJ as he played with the kids. He was stopping two kid’s fight and lectured them. “He’s such a kid... But a good hyung too.” Accidentally saying it aloud, both teachers giggled at your comment and simultaneously said “Your a lucky girl y/n!”

They got up and called the children to fall in line. “It was nice to meet you y/n! Your always free to stop by.” They smiled and told the children to say their goodbyes. The two of you waved as they walked out of sight. MJ sighed and bowed “I’m sorry y/n! We’re supposed to be on a date but I ended up playing with the kids!” “It’s okay MJ! It was fun watching you play with them!” You paused, gave an innocent smile and in sing-song voice said, “Plus~ I was able to learn something about you~!” Shocked, MJ began to turn red from embarrassment. when I say turn red I mean he glowed red

You held the box with your mug in your hand and MJ held his as he walked you home. At the door, you exchanged boxes. “Today was a lot of fun y/n! The kids were really interested in you, so next time we go to the park I’ll be sure to introduce you! And then you can show them your powers too! They would love it!.. I mean if you want to...” He looked at you with hopeful eyes and a shy smile. “Of course!” He lit up at your smile and waved good bye as he ran home lighting the dark roads with his light.

Opening your gift you smiled at the mug he had made for you. He had painted a winter morning scene on the outside of the mug. On one side, there were two small figures standing next to each other: one was yellow and shining brightly; the other was the color of the top you had worn that day. Underneath the mug he painted “Your smile is brighter than any light I make :)” It was so cheesy but it made you smile, “Great minds truly think alike.”

As soon as MJ got home, he immediately ran to the kitchen and started to open the box carefully. He giggled at the sight of the mug. It was similar to the one he had made, the only difference being that the two figures were holding hands. Underneath read: “Your more unique than any snowflake I can ever make :)″ “Hyung! Turn down the light!” “The whole city is gonna think its morning already!” “That or he’ll blind the whole city” the youngest scoffed.

“Mmmmm the person I choose is... Jin pup! I think I’ll contact him first. He looks like a sweet guy.” You said with a smile on your face. “Don't they all?” Your friend said sarcastically earning a snowball to the face. “Y/N!” You laughed as she went to go dry off her face.

With her phone still in had you decided to message Jin pup. “Hi! My name is y/n.” You hesitated but decided to press send anyways. To your surprise you got an instant response. “Hi y/n! I’m Jinwoo! You can call me Jin Jin tho... I mean if you want.” You smiled at how sweet he was being and relieved that it wasn't as awkward as you had thought it would be.

After talking to him through your best friend’s phone for a while you decided to give him your number. Mainly cuz she glared at you being all smiley on her phone for an hour. A few days later he finally asked:

“Hahaha! Ya! I’m the one M-shine accidentally blinded >.< I couldn't see for weeks. I thought I’d never get my vision back LoL”

“Wow! I still can’t believe all of you know each other lol. It’s like you all talked and said ‘let’s all tell her were interested! Let the best man win!’ hahaha”

“Lol of course not. We didn't even notice we did that... Anyways... I’ve had something on my mind.”

“Shoot”

“So we’ve been talking for almost a week now... and i’m really interested in you so... I was wondering if you were free tomorrow?”

“I thought you’d NEVER ask! Yes! I’d like to go on a date with you ^.^”

“Cool! I’ll pick you up at 11 then. See you tomorrow :)”

You ran to your best friend’s room to tell her all about the development and help pick an outfit for tomorrow. Meanwhile.... “Hyung, how come your jumping up and down?” Sanha asked. “I’ve got a date tomorrow!” He yelled as he ran around the room in excitement. “Hyung! Sparks! Sparks!” “Ya! Hyung, your going to cause a blackout again!” Sure enough the lights turned off and the appliances stopped working. “Well I don't know about you guys but I'm still happy for him” the eldest added as he started jumping up and down with him.

It was exactly 11 when you heard a knock on the door. Nervous to finally meet him in person you walked to the door slowly. You were all dressed up and ready for whatever he had planned. As you opened the door, you both stood in silence just staring. In his eyes, you were the most beautiful person he had ever seen yes even more beautiful the eunwoo. In your eyes, you were shocked. From his pictures you didn't think he was so good looking. Cute yes. Handsome, stylish, and good hair NO. But here he was; the cutest and most handsome person you had seen. again yes more than eunwoo.

“Hi” you smiled shyly as you closed the door behind you locking it. “Hi” he responded obviously still in shock. His voice was deeper than you expected but it still sounded sweet. “You look beautiful... It’s nice to finally properly meet you.” He held out his hand and gave you the sweetest smile you had ever seen it almost made you faint. 

“It’s nice to finally meet you too.” You smiled shyly at his compliment. As you reached out to his hand, almost touching, you felt a shock and winced at the sudden shock. “Ah! I’m sorry! I got excited and forgot to control my power...” He bowed his head as he pouted. OMGOSH he was so cute he was like a puppy! How could you not forgive him!

“Haha its fine don't worry. Shall we get going?” You smiled and reached your hand out to him and this time he didn't shock you.

As the two of you walked hand in hand, Jin Jin suddenly snapped his head towards you. “Oh! I forgot to ask you. Your not allergic to anything right?” You shook your head. “Do you like dogs?” You nodded curiously “Why?” He gave you his angelic smile and avoided the question. “You’ll see.”

After walking and chatting down the road for a while, you stopped in front of a cafe. “I always come here when I’m stressed. It’s a nice place to relax and I thought I’d share it with you.” He smiled as he guided you inside. It was the cutest place you had ever seen. Why? There were dogs running around all over the place! There were toys, doggy beds, and an obstacle course.

“I love being able to play with the dogs here since I can’t have one of my own.” He explained as the two of you sat at a table. After ordering your drinks he continued, “You know all of the dogs here were either abandoned or lost. Sometimes I would be here and someone would come in excited to find their lost dog. Or like one time, a couple was playing with a dog for a really long time and asked if they could adopt it.” His smile was sweet and calm. You could tell how much he cared about the place and it made you happy that he wanted to share such an important place with you.

A small black lab probably a puppy still came up to you and got up on your thighs. “Hi, what’s your name?” You giggled at how cute she was. “Wah. Amazing” Jin Jin gasped as he pet a larger dog. “Thats her name? Amazing?” you laughed. “Haha! No~ Her name is d/n. I’m just shocked. She’s usually so shy and scared around people... It must mean I made the right choice!” he smiled. “What do you mean?” “If she likes you right away- it must mean your naturally a kind hearted person.” You tried to hide your reddening face from him.

Jin Jin giggled and looked at you in awe. “She’s so cute when she blushes.” As you look up back to him, Jin Jin was getting kisses from the larger dog. Giggling, you told yourself “I never knew a dog kissing a puppy could be so cute!” After the dog’s slobber attack he walked away to play with another dog; Jin Jin saw you giggling and pouted “He left me” making you laugh at his cuteness.

Without realizing it, the two of you had spent hours at the cafe playing with dogs and it was already five o’clock. As the two of you walked along the streets you could feel your stomach growl, “Shall we get something to eat? My treat!” You offered but Jin Jin shook his head. “I shouldn't make you pay on the first date. Plus, I have a surprise for you.” You took his outstretched hand and continued to follow him down the streets chatting and talking. As time drew on, you could feel his nervousness through his hand as you could feel bits of shocks hit you.

Finally, as you stopped right in front of a building, you felt a huge shock go through your hand. Jin Jin noticing you wince in pain immediately apologized repeatedly and let go of your hand. “It’s ok! I was just surprised is all!” You laughed and jokingly said, “One day I’ll get you back with a snow ball~” He laughed and guided you into the building.

“Sorry it’ll be a bit dark for now so just hold onto my arm for now.” You wrapped your arm around his and continued to walk into the darkness. You could vaguely make out a table and two chairs in the middle of the room. Motioning for you to sit down you let go and carefully sit, watching him sit in the chair across. You could hear him take a deep breath in and out.

“I wanted to surprise you. But, I thought maybe the other guys you dated have done everything. So I thought about how could I make it different and then I realized well... we are different.” You could just barely see him raise his hand to the ceiling. You watched as beautiful sparks went straight up and hit something. Suddenly, one by one, tiny lights of different sizes filled the room. “Are those...” “Stars?” he finished. “Yes, they are.” You smiled amazed at the site. Living in the big city, it was difficult to see the beautiful stars you used to look at back home. Tears began to fill your eyes. “It’s so beautiful... thank you!” wiped away the tears, got up, and hugged him.

For the rest of the night, you enjoyed a delicious meal under his home made stars and afterwards, he walked you home. As you said your goodnights, Jin Jin turned back around towards you and said,“y/n, I really enjoyed tonight and I want to continue to get to know you more... I was thinking if you felt the same way that...” “Yes! I’d love to go on another date with you... As long as you don't shock me next time.” You smiled, gave him a kiss on the cheek and quickly ran inside.

Jin Jin stood there shocked and then excitement hit and he began to jump and run about in excitement. He stopped in his tracks to answer his phone “Hyung!!! You caused the whole city’s black-out didn't you!” Ignoring his friends’ yelling he quickly ran home in the dark streets to quickly tell his friends the news.

As the snowflakes gently fell around you, you walked straight ahead. Your head bowed, hoping your hair would cover your face as tears fell down your cheeks. Of course you knew people were looking. After all, it’s not everyday it snows in the middle of summer... Let alone only above you.

Yes you had powers. It was rare for people to have powers well powers to control some sort of element but after centuries of being afraid people had become accustomed to them and accepted that those with powers were not dangerous. That, of course, didn't mean everyone excepted it happily...

“I don't want to date some freak! Get away from me!” he yelled as he pushed you away causing you to fall onto the wet grass. You watched as he walked away- anger fuming from him.

It wasn't the first time you watched the person you liked walk away angry. You should be used to it. It’s been, what feels like, the hundredth time already that you’ve been dumped because of your powers. But of course- you never learn.

“y/n, your gonna burry your room in snow again if you don't try to at least control your powers. It’s been a week already! We already turned the heater on full blast but you keep making it colder!” You look up to your best-friend and stare at her blankly trying to understand what she just said. “Ah... I’m sorry y/f/n...” Slowly the clouds faded and you began to send the snow to the bathroom tub to melt.

You and your family found out about your powers when you were a toddler. Every time you had a tantrum there would suddenly be a blizzard in the room or wherever you were. Over time you learned to control your powers even when you were emotional. You could create snow and bend it to your will yes think like in frozen but you can't make things that live or ice but couldn't make it disappear. As a child it was fun to make snow men with your friends because you could make as many as you wanted and you all got to dress them up and watch them last all through spring cuz your parents made you let them melt in the summer.

Growing up in your town was easy. Everyone loved you and accepted your powers. Even the elderly who grew up during the era of fear loved you. You didn't show off your powers; you were kind, respectful and humble. Now, you were done with school and sharing an apartment with your best friend in the big city. Your best friend who was “lucky” to not have powers and lucky to HAVE a boyfriend.

“You know~... I did some research and found a dating site for people with powers...” You gave her a look as you held out your hand forming a snow ball in it. “Woah Woah Woah! Hear me out!” She yelled backing away slowly to hide behind the doorway. 

With only her head sticking out she gave you a smile. “Look y/n, I know your just getting over him. But I know you also saw this coming... Your not the only one who’s having trouble finding someone to love who will accept you as you are... SO~...” She gave you a malicious grin “You didn't!” you glared at her and made a snow ball in your other hand. “YES. I. DID.” You threw the snow balls at her and she ducked behind the wall. You made the second snow ball turn to her direction. “AH! y/n! thats cheating!” she yelled as she came back into the room with snow all over her face. For what felt like forever you finally began to laugh.

Finally your room was free of snow and you were enjoying a movie on the couch with your best friend. “So about that site...” She cautiously added grinning at you. “Ugh!!! Fine!” you sighed as you paused the movie. She handed you her phone with the site already opened. You looked at the profile she had made for you: “Snowflake”. “Look! I made it last night and you already have six people who are interested in you!” You looked at each person’s profile:

Jin pup: Power- lightning/electricity Discovered- shocked my parents whenever I would cry as a baby

M-Shine: Power- light Discovered- accidentally~ temporarily~ blinded my friend while playing cops and robbers >.<

Chazoom: Power- wind Discovered- was dancing.. well spinning.. and then suddenly there was a tornado in my room

R.O.C.K.Y: Power- earth Discovered- was pretending to be hulk and slammed my fist to the ground and all of a sudden the ground split in half

Binnie: Power- water Discovered- while I was trying to learn to swim I almost drowned and the next thing I knew I was walking on the water

Yoon Fire! Power- FIRE! Discovered- almost set my house on fire as a kid.

Apparently having nicknames in the site is a must lol. “They’re all cute too!” She began to clap excitedly. “I’m jealous of you. I wish my boyfriend was as good looking as them. I mean just LOOK AT CHAZOOM! He’s like perfect!” I rolled my eyes. She did have a point though. He was really good looking. Like REALLY good looking but tbh all of them were. “So~ who are you going on a date with?”

“Mmmmm the person I choose is....”

“Y/n! I found Astro’s new episode of Weekly Idol with english subs for you! Stop staring at your birth mark!” Mae yelled at you. With Astro’s newest comeback and the most recent events to happen you imagined what if JinJin was your soulmate! “As if that would happen. Especially with an idol thats never happened” you laugh to yourself as you hide the birthmark on your left shoulder.     

“Did you hear about the soulmates that found each a few years ago?” Mae asked. You gave her a look to say “no duh~”. You and Mae have been friends since first year of high school and it wasn’t till senior year that you both became best friends. By some string of fate you both ended up attending the same college and your friendship has only grown stronger. She introduced Running Man to you and after that even introduced kpop to you. (well technically you got into kpop because you discovered a group after watching a web drama) “Well..” she continued “… apparently they finally agreed to talk to the scientists and the press! Do you know what this means?? Its finally confirmed what happens when soulmates meet each other!” Mae was not one for sappy, cliche, cheesy love stories but she did find the idea of soulmates an interesting topic to discover. You raised yours brows and went wide eyed. She continued to skim the article and finally spoke. “Ok so we all know every soulmate has matching birthmarks but on opposite sides of the body… Apparently they said the first time they met it was like static and all of a sudden both their birthmarks began to hurt and when they checked for their birthmark on their hands it had gone away!” You laughed in amusement at her excitement and brought your attention to your own laptop to continue the subbed episode she had found for you.     

You completely fell in love with Astro. When Mae had realized you were more open to the world of Kpop when you had discovered the new rookie group so she began to show you videos of a group she liked, KNK. But all the videos she ever showed you included a cheerful, hyper and bright group… Astro. Once you checked out their MVs on youtube and listened to their debut song “Hide and Seek” you fell for them… HARD; and continued to watch videos on your own. “y/n, did you check your status on the study abroad? I just checked mine and I got accepted to the Seoul, Korea program!” You and Mae had been planning to do study abroad at the same time but had differences in interests. You, Japan. Her, Korea. But due to her constant begging and persuasion, you also applied for the Seoul, Korea program. You sighed as you checked your email. “I didn’t get accepted to the Japan program… BUT! I got into the Seoul!” You both began to jump up and down and started planning the details.

After the long flight the two of you were finally getting off the plane. Even with the jet lag and all the delays, you were both completely awake and excited. “I can’t believe we’re finally here!” Mae was jumping up and down with glee as the two of you walked to customs. “I can’t believe both Astro AND Seventeen will have concerts while we’re here!” “What if you ran into your U/B~?” You sang in a sing-song voice and laughed. As you quickly dodge her slap to your arm, you take a step back and accidentally bump back-to-back with someone and feel a slight shock.     

Immediately, you turn around and slightly bow as you apologize. “Ah… Sumimasen… I mean! I’m sorry!… I mean… ah…” As you continued to forget how to say sorry in Korean your face and ears began to turn completely red. You quickly glance at the person but in embarrassment look back down to the floor. The man had a mask and black baseball cap on and in your opinion had good fashion sense.     

He giggled and with a deep voice and accent said “It’s ok.” The two of you turn around and walk opposite ways. Mae continues to tease you and laugh at the run in but your mind was off in the clouds as you try to rub away the shocking feeling on your shoulder and the odd feeling that you had met the person before.

“Jin Jin Hyung! Hyung! Hyung! Jin Jin Ah!” “Ya!” Jin Jin yelled as he hit his annoying maknae. Jin Jin and the rest of Astro (along with some of the staff) were on the way to the gate for their flight for an overseas concert and as usual Sanha was annoying Jin Jin.

“I can’t believe we’re on our way to another overseas concert. It feels like we just had our Dream Pt.1 concert not long ago.” Eunwoo continued to reminisce aloud. Everyone began to mess with him and laugh. Jin Jin began to laugh hard and lost balance causing him to take a step back. Running into someone. As he turned around he immediately said sorry but began to laugh at the girl’s reaction. “Ah… Sumimasen… I mean! I’m sorry!… I mean… ah…” Seeing how she reacted he figured she did not recognize him and began to laugh at how flustered she was. “It’s ok.” He replied and turned to continue walking. Without the rest of the group noticing he looked back at the girl and caught a quick glimpse of her face.

“She’s cute” he thought as he turned back to the rest of the group and rubbed the pain in his right shoulder.

The six weeks of classes and field trips was coming to an end. You and Mae were busy studying for finals and planning the next three weeks before you go back home.
 “Ok so I already bought the tickets for the Seventeen concert and Astro concert. We didn’t get into the fan signing event for Seventeen, but we got into the Astro one!” Mae was sad that we couldn’t go to the Seventeen fan sign event but was excited for you. “How’s your shoulder doing by the way?” she asked as she went back to her studying. For the past six weeks your shoulder had an uncomfortable numbness to it ever since that run in at the airport.    

“WAIT! What if that was your soulmate! What if the guy you bumped into at the airport was your soulmate? Maybe thats why he was so familiar to you?” Mae suddenly jumped up causing you to fall off your chair in shock. “Ha! As if that would happen. You know its rare to find your soulmate and even if it was him I doubt I’d ever see him again.” You calmly respond as you get back on your chair. “Maybe its still hurting because he’s nearby. I’m telling you! Before we leave Korea you’ll meet your soulmate again.” Ignoring her comment you both go back to studying.

“Hyung can you check my shoulder again? The pain is still there.” Jin Jin asked MJ as he pulled the right side of his shirt down. “Jin Jin the doctors said there was nothing wrong with it. Maybe you’re working out too much or adding too much weight to the bars.” “No I’m not! I haven’t even gotten the chance to work out that much these past few weeks.”

MJ quickly ran out their shared bedroom door and checked the rest of the dorm if the other members were there. “JIN JIN!” he yelled as he ran back in shutting the door and locking it. Jin Jin was shocked as MJ suddenly forced Jin Jin’s shirt off “Hyung! What are you doing!?” “Look at your shoulder!” Jin Jin did just as his hyung told him to do. His eyes opened wide and his mouth agape. “My birthmark! Its faded!”    

“Do you know what this means? It means that you’ve run into your soulmate! Do you know when the pain started?” MJ began to jump up and down the room. “Hyung! Hyung! Calm down! I think it started when I ran into that girl at the airport on our way to the overseas concert… We don’t know if this is for sure because of my soulmate. It could just look like it’s faded…” Still in disbelief he sat there in shock. MJ noticing his friend’s reaction quietly sat down next to him. “What’s wrong?” He asked calmly.

“I don’t know hyung… What if this affects our popularity? What if the others get disappointed in me? What if I get kicked out of Astro? What if I ruin her life with the publicity? What if it doesn’t work out? I mean we’re idols we have busy lives. What if she doesn’t like me or want to see me? I mean its not like I’d be able to see her again anyways right?…” He took a deep breath and sighed. “Hyung I don’t know what do. Theres so much going through my mind right now… Can we keep this a secret from the rest of the group?” MJ nodded as he placed Jin Jin’s head on his shoulder and hugged him.

“I’m so excited! Aren’t you excited y/n????” Mae asked hitting your arm. “Ow! You know my shoulder is hurting yet you keep hitting me.” You cried. It was the week before you leave to go home and the two of you were counting down the days. You had gone to both Seventeen and Astro’s concerts and now it was the final day you were really excited about. Astro’s fan signing event. She apologized and and looked at you with worry. “I’m fine. Don’t worry about it. It’s just hurting a lot more than usual for some reason.” You sighed and finally got excited. “Look they’re finally letting us in!”

“Hyung~ are you sure you’re ok?” Sanha continued to whine. “For the tenth time, IM FINE SANHA!” Jin Jin yelled as he rubbed his shoulder. “Don’t worry. I can smile to the fans.” he calmly told his manager. They went out on the stage with smiles on their faces as they waved to the screaming crowd. After taking their seats (from youngest to oldest), the manager got the crowd to calm down and get in a line. One girl caught Jin Jin’s eye. You. But he didn’t know why and just went back to greeting and talking to the fans currently in front of him.

You began to fan girl as you got closer and closer to the members. “What if i forget what I’m gonna say to them?? Or if I forget to give my gift??” You began to panic and Mae laughed in amusement. “Thats why you have the note cards to read it or to show it to them if they don’t understand you and I doubt you’ll forget to give your gift. If anything I’ll be right after you to remind you.” As you got closer and closer your nerves got stronger and so did the pain in your shoulder.

Finally you got to Sanha. He was amused with how hard you tried to speak in Korean and he tried to respond to english which made both of you laugh. Rocky was confused so he read your note card and laughed and helped teach you how to pronounce each word. Moonbin was so happy when you gave him a box of chocolate from back home. Eunwoo told you to be comfortable and just talk in english so that “he could practice” (but you know he was just being considerate. Finally it was Jin Jin’s turn. You felt your heart beating uncontrollably as the nerves got multiplied by a 100.

Jin Jin watched as the girl came closer and closer and suddenly she was right in front of him. He couldn’t help but smile larger than he had with the other fans. He noticed the note cards in his hand and silently laughed to himself. He didn’t understand why but this girl amused him so much.

“Hi!” He smiled at you. “It’s ok. You can speak english.” A part of you was relieved and you began to talk to him calmly. “Mianhae. I was here for study abroad but my Korean is still bad.” You said shyly barely able to look at him. “My name is y/n.” He just continued to smile and stare at you as he finished signing your album. For some reason he was so happy and star struck by you he couldn’t speak. “It was nice to meet you y/n. Thank you for coming.” He finally said as he reached his hand out to you for a high-five. “I’m really glad I got to meet you in person” You said with a smile as you got up reached your hand out. As the two of you interlocked hands a sudden pain shot through the both of you. Both of you let go causing you to pass out and fall to the ground. Jin Jin was scream in pain as he held his shoulder trying to stay in his chair.

You slowly wake up. As your vision and hearing becomes clear you notice you are lying down on a couch. Clothes, make up kits, snacks, and other equipment fill the room you are in. “Oh y/n, you’re awake!” Mae comes running up to you from the snacks table and hands you bottled water. “Where are we? What happened?” you ask as you drink the water. “We’re in the dressing room. You passed out after you and Jin Jin suddenly started to cry out in pain… Don’t worry about Jin Jin. They brought him back here when they brought you and checked his shoulder… Y/n… I overheard them say his birthmark disappeared.” You opened your eyes wide and rushed to check your shoulder. Mae gasped and you opened your mouth in shock. Your birthmark was gone too. You could not believe this was happening. The fact that not only did you find your soulmate but that your soulmate was your ultimate bias was unfathomable. Just as you were about to say something Astro’s manager walked into the room with a person wearing a “Translator” badge.     

“Was your birthmark on your left shoulder?” You nodded. “I don’t know if your friend told you but, Jin Jin’s was on his shoulder too and it disappeared after the scene the two of you caused.” He sighed and scratched the back of his neck. “Since this is the first time this has happened to an idol we honestly don’t know what to do. While I am contacting the CEO about the incident the two of you will wait here. Jin Jin will come after the fan signing has ended.” After the two of you nod your heads, both the manager and the translator walk out of the room, leaving the two of you to process what has happened.

The event was finally over. You could tell because all the staff were rushing around packing and cleaning. You could hear the faint cheers coming from the other side of the door. You and Mae sat in silence, as she figured from your expression that you needed it.     

Finally, everything was quiet. All the staff had packed up the equipment and make up leaving the clothes and other random things in the room and left. Past the door was silent for what seemed like forever. Until finally you could hear faint whispers in Korean which Mae also heard and whispered the translation to you, “Just go in there already!… I’m sure she’s just as nervous as you are but don’t you realize how exciting this is? How happy you would be and how happy all of us would be for you??” The whispers became louder as he continued to talk. “But hyung…” “No! No buts! For once don’t worry about what will happen and just take this chance to be happy for yourself. If its the universe’s work then I’m sure the universe will make sure everything will work out.”     

You were moved by MJ’s advice to Jin Jin. (and yes you know it’s MJ cuz of course he can’t keep his voice down haha) You take a deep breath as you hear them open the door. Jin Jin is first through the door and as you make eye contact it was like all your nerves and worries faded away. He walks in, MJ following behind him, and walks towards you. By some odd reason you got up from the couch and ran into his embrace. He twirled you giggling and when he finally set you down the two of you make eye contact again both smiling happily. Your faces slowly (by the same odd force that made you get up and run to him) got closer. Lips almost touching until…     

“Eh hem” both Mae and MJ cleared their throats. You both suddenly realized what had happened, took a step back from each other with heads bowed to the ground and ears and face completely red. Mae and MJ began to laugh at the two of you. “HYUNG!” “MAE!” you both yelled at the same time you look at each other and began to laugh.

After all four of you had calmed down, Jin Jin went up to you and politely reached his hand out to you for a handshake. “I’m Jinwoo…” he laughed awkwardly. “I’m y/n” you giggled back as you shook his hand. The two of you smiled at each other staring into the other’s eyes, still holding hands. “Um… I can somewhat translate for you guys if you have trouble saying something in the other’s language…” Mae suggested to the both of you in English and Korean.     

The two of you sat on the couch next to each other with an awkward distance in-between. MJ and Mae pulled up chairs to sit in front of the two of you. Jin Jin just stared at you with his puppy dog eyes making you blush and look away. MJ (feeling awkward by Jin Jin’s actions decides to speak up “um… It’s a little late to say this but… Hi! I’m MyungJun… How much longer will the two of you be here in Korea?” Mae surprised by the question answers it herself after translating it. “We leave Friday of next week…”     

“EHHHH???” Jin Jin snapped out of his stare and went into panic causing him to speak faster than Mae can understand. He jumped up and pulled you up into his embrace. “We just met and you already leave next week???” You could feel the blood rush to his face and the small drops of tears forming in his eyes. “y/n, I have so many worries and responsibilities and stress with being part of Astro and meeting you. I just want to tell of them to you. Rant to you. Figure out how to make things work. I don’t even know if you like me to begin with.”     

You strengthened your embrace and told him “Of course I like you! You’ve always been my ultimate bias!” you chuckled. “It’s ok. Don’t worry about everything else. We’ll figure it out over time.” Your warm voice caused him to almost break into tears. You look up and notice that MJ and Mae had been looking at the two of you in shock. You gave Mae a confused face. In turn she responded “y/n… You just spoke in fluent Korean…” “Jin Jin you spoke in English!” MJ exclaimed. You two take a step back from your embrace unsure why but both happily accept what had happened. You could not only completely speak and understand Korean but most importantly be able to communicate with Jin Jin and the same was for him.     

Suddenly the door slammed wide open. The other four members of Astro came rushing in. Jin Jin suddenly pulled you and Mae behind him and MJ and bowed to them. Suddenly he went from being happy to sad. His whole body shaking as he struggled to speak. “I’m sorry…” He began to shake more tears flowing down his cheeks. He continued to apologize over and over. The others said nothing. Eunwoo, followed by Moonbin and then the rest surrounded him and hugged him. Eunwoo broke the silence with a shaky voice “Hyung! Why are you crying! You’ll make the rest of us cry.” “Ya! Jin Jin hyung, your supposed to be happy! We’re happy for you!” Moonbin said as he jokingly hit Jin Jin’s arm. “Like I told you before dummy! Don’t worry about what will happen. We’re all happy for you and whatever happens happens. We’ll all get through this. You’ll get through this and now you have another special person in your life to be there for you… Jin Jin, stop putting all the pressure on yourself. We’re all here for you.” Jin Jin cried in their embrace for a good 10 min.

Jin Jin finally calmed down. Eunwoo hit him on the arm as they dispersed from their huddle. “Hyung! Introduce us to her!” All of their attention suddenly went to you. Sanha suddenly ran up right to your face and started to wave at you. “Hi, I’m Sanha!… Ah! I remember you!” Rocky pulled Sanha back to give you space and said “Hi I’m Minhyuk but you can keep calling me Rocky if you want.” Moonbin and Eunwoo walked up next to Rocky. “I’m Dongmin but you can keep calling me Eunwoo if you want.” “I’m Moonbin! Thank you for the chocolates again!” Moonbin hugged you. “YA! That’s my soulmate! Give her some space.” Jin Jin began to nag at them as he pulled them to the other side of the room.     

All their love and care for each other that you watched from your computer screen was happening right in front of you and it made you happy. You began to laugh making them move their attention to you once again. “It’s nice to meet all of you. I’m y/n” you smiled at them. They were shocked hy your sudden fluency in Korean so Jin Jin explained what happened.     

“Waaaah! NOONA IS SO NICE! You don’t deserve her hyung. Your the opposite. Your mean.” Sanha stuck his tung out playfully at Jin Jin earning him a punch and a kick from him. “See noona! Jin Jin hyung is mean to me!” he yelled as he ran behind you.

The eight of you became comfortable after that talking and laughing. You felt all your worries go away until… “Noona, when do you leave?” Eunwoo asked you sitting on the couch. “Oh… We leave next week Friday…” Everyone suddenly became quiet when they heard your response. Moonbin looked over to Jin Jin with concern. “Hyung…” He was interrupted by a knock on the door. All the members of Astro stopped what they were doing and politely greeted their manager and those that filed in after him; the translator and another person, the CEO of Fantagio. MJ, who was standing near you, whispered to you and Mae who he was, causing the two of you to quickly get up and properly greet him. Jin Jin went up to their manager and explained that you no longer needed the translator and Mae could understand enough that she didn’t need it either.     

After the translator left, their manager and CEO sat down at the table in the middle of the room and asked you and Jin Jin to sit in the last two seats. The rest of Astro sat down on the couch behind you and brought over a stool for Mae to sit on next to them. The atmosphere was suffocating. You could feel the tension and worries on everyones’ mind.     

Finally, the CEO faced your direction and asked in an intimidating tone; “What is your name?” “y/n sir” “Do you understand the situation the two of you are in?” This time is question was aimed to both of you. “Yes. We know its complicated especially because this is the first time it has happened to an idol.” Jin Jin quickly stated and then bowed his head down. The CEO sighed and scratched the back of his head. “What do you think should happen?” he asked. Confidently you tell him “I leave next week friday to go home. If possible… I think we would both want to spend as much time together as possible before then… I don’t want Jin Jin to give up or be kicked out of Astro. He has a lot of fans and Astro wouldn’t be the same without him. If thats what being together means then… I’d rather sacrifice being together so he can stay in Astro and shine like the star I know he is.” You just looked at the manager and the CEO both with poker faces on. Jin Jin looked at you with admiration and affection. He couldn’t believe you had said that with confidence.     

“For now our priority is to avoid a scandal. Obviously after the scene the two of you created earlier, the internet is already spreading with curiosity and rumors. While we wait for that incident to calm down, we will be thinking over all the possibilities.” He sighed and said with full sincerity in his voice. “To be honest, removing Jin Jin from Astro is the worst thing we would want to do. Until we make a decision we will allow the two of you to spend time together while you are here but, with our approval as to avoid scandal. Also, until we make a decision we will allow you to keep in contact after you leave.” Jin Jin takes your hand and smiles to you making you smile back. “y/n. Jinwoo. You must agree that you understand whatever our decision ends up being that both of you will accept it. y/n. You must also acknowledge that you understand whatever may happen will for sure change your life. Are you willing to accept it?” You and Jin Jin look to each other. “Yes I am acknowledging and accepting.” “If y/n is willing to accept it then… Yes.”     

Happy with the outcome of the talk the CEO and manager get up and walk out the door. Jin Jin faced you and took both of your hands in his as he stared into your eyes. “Y/n… I don’t know what will happen. But, I do know I want to make the most the time we have together right now and no matter what may happen. I want you to know that I love you.” You couldn’t help but giggle. “I love you too!” He leaned in to kiss you but was cut short. “EEEEEEWWWWW!” “Jin Jin hyung there’s an innocent baby here!” One by one the members continued to add to their complaints. As Jin Jin went to go get mad at his younger brothers you went over to Mae both of you giggling. “I’m happy I didn’t get accepted into the Japan program… I guess it is possible to find a soulmate huh?” She laughed and nudged her shoulder to yours. “I told you it was.”
