HALLE BAILEY, CIS WOMAN, TWENTY ⟨ ✽ ⟩ hey, you haven’t bumped into jamie scott lately, have you? she has been living here for the past year and during that time, locals have gotten to know them as ambitious & strong-willed. a little birdie told me they can be quite timid & perfectionistic though. explains why they’re a kinesiology student. they really remind me of celebrating every little victory, athleisure but make it fashion & a pop of color. if you’re ever looking for them, i bet you can find them around hamlin student center.

i’m gonna keep this short because jamie is new and i know i’ll be changing shit up as i go so why bother ahsgfaj.
okay so she’s from new york, lived there her whole life. her mom is a medical researcher and has focus on rare genetic diseases and her dad is a former american football player who had a pretty succesfull career . she also has a sister and a younger brother . (if anyone wants to take up chloe bailey *call me, beep me*)
anyway, she’s always been very driven and like focused on academics and for most of her life she was absolutely sure she was gonna follow her mom into the medical field...and in some ways she did but not really what her original plan was.
she was sort of socially awkward and super shy, always wished she was the opposite but she really wasn’t good at making friends. maybe growing up as the middle kid made her sort of accustomed to being kind of invisible even if she wasn’t. and she definitely wasn’t the type to beg for attention.
it was around her sophomore year in high school that her dad encouraged her to join something. she was pretty unsure and had no idea what that would be but after trying out a couple of different teams and clubs she kinda fell in love with volleyball. given she was no prodigy but she got the basics down rather quick.
it was the kinda push she needed to open up a bit more and she definitely toughened up both mentally and physically. the other girls were no joke and they took no shit so jamie had to follow and learn to both take a punch and a joke.
when it came around the time for college she knew she still wanted to do something sort of medical but also keep it related to her interest in sport. so she decided to major in kinesiology. she wants to become an athletic therapist eventually and also helps out the team physician and what not. extra credit and shit idk how it works.
anyway, when it comes to personality she has definitely....blossomed or come out of her cocoon like a beautiful little butterfly alhgak. she’s still pretty timid and like doesn’t like to push anything and insert herself where she doesn’t find herself necessarily met with enthusiasm. but she is pretty tough and like, fall down seven times get up eight. get a couple of drinks in her and you’ll probably find her dancing on tables. she’s definitely catching up on some years of missing out and you’ll regularly find her showing up to class trying to cover up a hangover with a pair of sunglasses.
