ok so im rewatching red star again and in the opening scene, james acts as if he doesnt rlly care about that pile of caps he left behind (and its not like it was only 5 caps i counted it out its roughly 50 caps) nor does he care about the mentats, gun, and alcohol he left behind either. like while im on the topic of red star tho, WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE RED STAR BOTTLE CAP?? it was never explained why that bottle cap was so god damned important and its awfully frustrated thinking of what makes it so special. i mean, it made that one scavenger guy practically paranoid when they were in the MIDDLE OF THE DESERT with NOBODY AROUND. also at the end of red star he declines the offer for caps. bc he can take care of himself.

so in summary:

james doesnt care about caps/drugs/alcohol

the red star bottle cap was never explained and that makes me upsetti spaghetti
