Religion’s true purpose is to get God to serve you; gospel faith’s purpose is to get your heart to serve Him!

When you beget, you beget something of the same kind as yourself. A man begets human babies, a beaver begets little beavers, and a bird begets eggs which turn into little birds. But when you make, you make something of a different kind from yourself. A bird makes a nest, a beaver builds a dam, a man makes a wireless set.

Morality may keep you out of jail but it takes the blood of Jesus to keep you out of hell.

As surely as I deserve the penalty of hell for my sins, so certainly and truly have You cleared the road to heaven for me with your merit!

Genealogies are more than a family tree; they preach the tree of the cross by leading us through the generations up to the promised Seed and His death and resurrection.

If you want to interpret well and confidently, set Christ before you, for He is the man to whom it all applies, every bit of it.

The existence of Babylon served as a necessary preparation for the bride’s marriage to the Lamb. The oppression and temptation of Babylon were the fire God used to refine the faith of the saints in order that they be prepared to enter the heavenly city.

If sin be such an evil that it requireth the death of Christ for its expiation, no wonder if it deserve our everlasting misery.

Suffering is common for all. However, persecution, which is a form of suffering, can be avoided. All you have to do is compromise.

The Word of God is like a lion. You don't have to defend a lion. All you have to do is let the lion loose, and the lion will defend itself.
