I know I’m late on this but sorry about your season ending the way that it did. It’s never fun, never easy either because you feel like you could have done more. What are you doing with your time now until the new season starts? @jamarrchase1

It’s all good now man, it’s all good. Y’know, it is what it is and now I just say anybody but the Chiefs. Sounds like maybe I am being selfish but it’s how I am feeling. Don’t care much. And there is no love lost there. I’ll just be chilling until I try and get my shoulder back to one hundred percent. I’ll catch other sports and shows.

I don't know much about American football, but I've always imagined that you guys have an intense schedule no matter the time. So I'm glad to hear that you've got a few months off at least! You'll have to tell me what you think when you catch up! Honestly, the hardest part is the makeup and the voice. I have a naturally deep voice already, but I have to go a lot deeper for the role and it hurts the throat after a while. I'm glad to hear that your holidays were solid, mine were as well so I understand the not complaining.

We usually don’t have a lot of time off or for ourselves. Once the season is over we get a couple of months and then it’s back to the grind again non stop. I’ll definitely have to do that now that I have a little time. I have a lot of shows to catch up on. Not too far behind though. Oh man, yeah I can imagine that would be tough but you look like you enjoy the part so that fixes the cons I am sure. But you kill the part every single time so there is that too.

“Well, it’s true. Nah. Thankfully I had got lucky. No off season surgery. Since it was just a sprain. Still gotta get it back to one hundred percent though. I have plenty of time to do that.”

“I do understand that. You have to do what you know is best for you. When you know it is best. So, since I’m here why don’t I cook us up some food I can actually cook..or I can order food in?”

“I’m down for pretty much anything. I’m not looking for anything in particular tonight but to get to know you better and whatever happens happens. You can’t force something good.”

“I’m not complaining. Not crazy. You’re smart. Glad you came. Happy to see you and your vibes. You have the luck.”

“I don’t know about that. I froze the entire time and it’s funny because I should be used to it. So, are you having off season surgery on the shoulder?” She asked curiously unsure of what was happening there and with that.

It's going well, man! 2024 started off well with some surf, so, I can't complain. The holidays in Australia are always wonderful. Ah, I see! Is it tough to have a game so near NYE? All that partying and fun, and then, boom, long game. Hopefully, the shoulder gets enough rest & gets better ASAP, can't have it out too long.

Glad to hear it. Glad yours went successful. Oh well damn that’s a change of events. Australia sounds like a great time right there especially with the weather difference that’s a big change. I hear how it is nice in most places. I can’t even complain much myself, 2024 is looking good. So far. Not really too bad I didn’t party much, I did have company and just chilled later on to ring in the new year. I won’t need to have surgery on it which that’s the best news. Best case scenario right there since it was just an AC joint sprain.

No I get you, it would definitely be bad publicity and probably some sort of last resort to try and save a career which won't help for sure. They do have a show called I'm a celebrity, get me out of here over here and that's pretty decent. I know some that were on there. Still couldn't do that as I'm a very picky eater so insects or animal organs aren't really anything i'd put in me mouth. It's better to be safe than sorry and make sure you're back at full capacity before getting back into the game. At least not every season is the same.

I’d think so besides those shows would hurt more than helping anyone. That sounds like it could be a good one. I don’t blame ya man I really don’t. That’s not my thing either so I’m with you there. I would take the high road and be like thanks not no thanks it just sounds and seems gross. Believe me man, I want to be at my best and be at one hundred percent and if I’m not then it hurts my game a little depending. Since the season is over I can get my shoulder back to where it should be and rest up which in a way I’m glad but the other part of me is disappointed.

now that i'm thinking on it, patient people actually terrify me. hilarious. that's the barest minimum, right? avoiding injury. but then again, that's probably easier said than done - i'll take it as a win. how was the rest of the trip for you, mate?

Funny how patience can work but yeah nah I get it. It get can under your skin. It’s definitely easier said than done landing the wrong way once and you’re screwed. Really all in all I ended up leaving early since we had a game that week it it went well either way. I’m just glad for my season to be over so I can rest and let my shoulder heal up.

While he might have a point, I'm trying to tell him that he's wrong. The last thing I want is for him to have the blues from now until spring break. Having a moody teenager is no fun, man. The times just flies by because we're having fun. Have a little less fun and it might just slow down for you.

When is spring break for him? What made him think that though beside the blues? Do you think a teenager is going to listen to you though? Nah man, I think I’m good I think I’d rather have fun then be bored all the time that would be the worse case scenario for me.
