âĽâŹ She could clearly see through his bullshit, men always trying to come off as strong like they were indestructible. But the moment they get sick the world is ending. âDonât try and fool me, kid. Thatâs got to hurt.â A small huff of breath pushed past her colored lips, she seriously concerned for the other and here he was playing it off like it was nothing.
âWhats up with you men thinking you got to come off as strong all the time? Tough guys mean nothing if they try to fake it. Sincerity is nice.â
Sighing, she could tell he was in pain, the idol was no fool. Gently reaching out she softly took hold of his arm, bringing it up as she leaned in to look at his wrist closely before looking at him and playfully flicking his cheek with her spare hand. âThis does not look good. I cant believe youâre not already getting it check out.â
Gently setting his arm back in place she put on her mask that was in her pocket, tied her hair back in a low ponytail and put on a knitted cap for disguise. âLets get you to a clinic to get that checked out, okay?â
âDo you really really want sincerity?â she gave him the green light, hadnât she? if she wasnât going to like what she was about to see, thatâd make her the liar, right? âBecause, to be honest with you...â and then he scrunches up his face, letting out weak whines and heavy breaths, holding his broken hand as carefully as possible. he could soon feel tears birthed out of the corners of his eyes, and he didnât know if they were the product of pain, or his state of pitifulness.
âI canât-- I canât go. Really really canât go to a clinic.â what was he supposed to tell them? sorry, broke my wrist while making drugs in my momâs basement. and sure, he could lie, but IN THIS STATE? too much, God. youâre asking for way too much. âI think Iâll--â huff, breathe, jangjun. â--just die? in your arms?â no, he wasnât asking questions, he just couldnât help increasing his pitch. gosh, this was embarrassing. âI swear Iâm usually--â huff, huff. â--way cooler than this?â
âJust need a couple of, uhhhhhh.â awkward. the dealer forgetting the name of a drug. âtylenols! and, uhhhhhh.â he was either whimpering or thinking. or both. whichever it was, he sounded ridiculous. âbandages. and Iâll be fine. Really. Really really.â and for a split second, he forgets about the pain, because damn she even looks good all worried and bundled up.
