I made this artwork for my Neopet Ami's pet page.

I ignored and blocked them, but part of me wants to say "I'm autistic and type/talk a specific way; what's your excuse for being an ableist dick?"

I swear, the people that used to be shits to the weird/undiagnosed kids in the past, today would say that they've always been an "ally".

Not even wealthy, just comfortable.

Where I don't have to worry if I'll have enough money to pay my bills, pay my rent, and pay for my utilities this month.

Where I can buy as much groceries as I need, and not have to budget to the cent, or have to put items back because I don't have enough money. Or be able to buy something frivolous like ice cream, something that isn't a necessity.

Where I don't have to worry about running out of medicine because I don't have enough money to refill them.

Where I could go out to eat, or see a movie, or just do something to fucking feel alive in the world.

I'm just so tired of living paycheck to paycheck, and the cost for everything is increasing all the time while my paycheck stays the same. I know I am more fortunate than most, because I have a place to live, and I can pay my bills (though it's a struggle).

Unfortunately I'm still dealing with my medical issues, and I was physically unable to work for five days. This was unpaid, so my paycheck was smaller than normal, and I'm now short $300 for my rent.

If anyone can offer some assistance, I would greatly appreciate it.

That it is safe to be out and proud.

Look at all the gay media and actors and people in prominent positions of power.

But I never felt safe.

I never felt safe when other boys bullied me and hurt me just for the suspicion that I was gay, before I even knew what that word meant.

I never felt safe when I watched a documentary about Matthew Shepard, who was beaten to death at 21 years old. I was 12 years old when that happened.

I never felt safe hearing men calling other men "faggot" as an insult, because being a gay man was the worst thing you could ever be. Not a rapist, not a racist, not a sexist, but a man that loved men and had sex with men. That this put into question your masculinity and allowed other men to attack you with insults and violence.

And I certainly don't feel fucking safe in a country where trans people are vilified and legislated against and are treated to even worse violence.
