This is my very first spell jar that I threw together and actually felt really good about so I decided to share! This is a spell to strengthen love and intimacy in long-term relationships:
Black candle (for repelling negativity)
Red candle (for sex, love, and vitality)
Salt (for protection)
Black pepper (for sensuality)
Himalayan pink salt (for romance)
Cinnamon (for passion)
Sugar (for sweetness)
Thyme (for prosperity)
Crushed eggshell (for strength)
Rose petals (for opening of the heart)
Orange peel (for joy)
**always ask for your partner’s permission before casting a love spell, it’s common courtesy!**
1.) First light the black candle, focusing your intent on banishing any negative energy that may be lingering in the relationship.
2.) Pick up the red candle and say this: “[Divine titles, or gods/goddesses’ names of your choice], bless our union if it is meant to be, and give us strength in the times to come, both good and bad. Let nothing come between us and our future be happy. With harm to none, so mote it be!”
3.) Light the red candle, focusing your intent on having a strong, passionate, relationship with your partner. Visualize it clearly with as many details as possible.
4.) Add salt to the jar for protection first, then layer as you please while taking that time to reflect on your happiest moments together, and give thanks for all you have experienced with this person, and all that is yet is to come.
5.) Draw a love sigil on the lid if you wish.
6.) Snuff out the candles while saying this: “These candles represent the years we have spent together, and accumulate as we walk our path. Although they are extinguished, may our love burn bright as we become one. With harm to none, so mote it be.”
7.) Seal with a kiss and red wax and/or ribbon.
8.) Place it under or around your bed or wear it when you see them. ❤
