THE REASON

The reason we are fighting each other is because we have nothing to do.

The reason we have nothing to do is because we are not doing what we are supposed to.

The reason we are not doing what we are supposed to is because we are afraid.

The reason we are afraid is because we don't know how to do what we are supposed to be doing.

The reason we don't know is because we are not interested.

After 8 hours at work, don't go home and sit on your hands. I am tired you would argue. I beg to differ. Chances are you have no inspiration and have left it up to other people to design your future.

Prayer is an exercise that allows God to intervene in our earthly affairs. This is why we OUGHT to pray without ceasing.

Also, just like King Solomon 🤴, ask God for knowledge, understanding and wisdom. But don't stop there. Above these attributes, ask for DISCERNMENT.

Discernment is the capacity to recognize a hidden truth for what it is . You see, God can answer 2 ways.

1 By saying no.

2 By saying yes.

The trick is, the yes may come in a way you did not expect and you don’t receive your blessing because you just did not have the DISCERNMENT to recognize it.

So, praying without ceasing keeps you in intimate contact with God so you can tap into His DISCERNMENT and WISDOM.
