Another thing to check off the list: Diapers! We just received a giant garbage bag filled with an entire stash of assorted cloth diapers and more inserts than I can even count still in good condition. I showed the kids how to properly launder them (they will be doing most, if not all of the diaper washing and drying, especially in the immediate postpartum) and took advantage of the sunny day to line dry the shells. When my grandparents passed away, I didn't get many mementos. But one thing I did get to choose out of my Grandma Fisher's curio cabinet of personal trinkets was a small matching teacup, saucer, and vase set painted with her favorite flowers, violets. Today was the anatomy scan of our perfectly growing baby and we discovered we are having another little lady.
