❝It’s been three years since it all started, I’m left with yet another scar but a pleasant reminder of what it led to.❞ Garrus had his hands covering her eyes, wanting to surprise her. After everything they had been through he wanted to share an intimate part of himself with her that was moderately innocent. No sappy stories of his relationship with his father, talks of Cerberus on her end–even sullen tales of how brave Shepard was. He took her out to shoot bottles, similarly to what he had done with Shepard. It was Garrus’ piece of mind his tranquility that kept him on the right path and a clear conscious. Sometimes he felt as if he was losing his righteousness–but then she was always there to remind him who he was, what type of man he was. Garrus’ was one of the good guys. ❝Happy anniversary–I know it’s too early, we’re far from October. However, given the circumstances and our busy schedules I figured we could celebrate now while we can.❞

“Shit...” Jack finally exhaled after seconds ticked by.  “You’re such an asshole sometimes, Garrus.  Do… do this and I can’t even try to half-ass something together for you in return.”
