Just wanted to know who's art this belongs to and if anyone had a cleaner/clearer picture of this art

CHAPTER 2

Later, the three are inside the car talking.

-Here's your share Soph- Jayane hands over the amount of money-

-Thank you-Sophia takes it and puts it in her pocket-

-Are you going to deliver an organ today?

-I'm going to give a heart and a lung in a hospital near here...

Jamily is the one driving the car.

-Ok-Jayane counts her half and leaves the money in her bank- Here it is

-Thanks

-Take my car today, I need you to go to Sweethearts

Jamily rolls her eyes

-If it's because of Vitor, you go, because I'm tired of being his cupid

-Who said he's going to talk to Vitor?

She looks away.

- I need you to talk to Lucas

-Why?-To not break anything, Jamily just fix her nose piercing-

-You know that pervert murderer that everyone wants the head?

-What have?

-An anonymous person asked us to kill him, and you know who wants his head too?

-Bounty hunters?- Sophia replies-

-Exactly-Jayane takes a cigarette-

-Okay, but why does it have to be Lucas? You can't stand him since we were kids...

-He's a good shot and everyone praises his work-Jayane answers-And not to mention that you didn't go talk to him after you got back...

Embarrassed, Jamily takes the cigarette from Jayane's mouth and throws it out the window.

-Gabi and Brenno are great at aiming and they are not from this world and it would be better to work with them…

-But they are afraid to see blood on their hands made by a gun, which are in their hands

Jamily and Sophia are confused by what Jayane just said, and there is a moment of silence.

-Go talk to Lucas and enjoy and talk about what they need to talk about...

-And why don't you go with Jamily?-Sophia proposes-

-A great idea, so you talk to your loving healer about what needs to be talked about and still take the car away-Jamily ironizes-

Jayane turns to Sophia

-You pay me…

-Thanks for the idea Sophia…-Jamily smiles-

She stops the car in front of Sophia's house.

-See you later! -Sophia opens the door and goes towards her house-

Jamily moves her hat and looks at Jayane

-I'm not going to talk to him...

-He is missing you Mily

-How can you be so sure?

-Because Vitor needed to console him for a long time and he still consoles him today for his departure...

-He always managed to live without me...

-It's what you want to imagine...

-Okay- Jamily sighs- I'll ask for his help, but you're going to talk to Vitor

-I'm not going to talk to him!

-You will, and you will deliver the lung to the hospital for me...

She starts driving again

-How dare you treat someone older than you

-With this maturity, I am much older than you

Annoyed, Jayane takes another cigarette, but when she goes to light it, Jamily throws it out the window again.

-I don't want my car to smell like cigarettes

-The car is in my name-Jayane points-

-In which you paid with my money...

Playwright & historian, Trent Kelley, has curated these photographs from his personal collection documenting love and affection among African American gay male couples.  The essay is entitled ‘Hidden in the Open:  A Photographic Essay of Afro-American Male Couples.”

Kelley has written in the Huffington Post:

Afro American same-sex loving gay men who were coupled with one another in the distant past walked the streets, ate at the dinner tables, and generally participated in their larger ethnic community out in the open, their relationships known only to those who were consequential to their everyday lives. In this respect, they were out in the open but hidden to those who didn’t know about their sexual proclivities. Hence, the title of this series of pictures dating from the mid 19th century to the late 20th century is “Hidden in the Open: A Photographic Essay of Afro-American Male Couples.”

Some of these images are sure to depict gay couples, whereas others may not.

The end result is speculative at best, for want in applying a label. Not every gesture articulated between these men is an indication of male-to-male intimacies. Assuredly, what all the photographs have in common are signs of Afro-American male affection and love that were recorded for posterity without fear and shame. Friendships where men often wrote romantically to one another, walked arm in arm were not uncommon to straight and gay men alike during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Depending on economic situation, many even slept together and this may have precluded or included physical intimacy between the sheets.

But there were past generations of Afro American gay men who lived and love bravely. They exist in these photographs. Like today’s gay male of African descent, the majority of them were never victims who whined nor required rescuing. Their presence here defy a lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community often wanting to make them an impotent footnote absent of any self-empowerment within gay culture and those vocally homophobic pockets within a black community wanting to write these men out of the narrative to Afro-American history.
