requested by: anonymous request: how can i resolve very heavy denial of feelings? it doesn’t feel organic to just have a “oh crap, i like them” moment for this specific character

growing softer in their attitude towards the other

finding themselves daydreaming about the other

being annoyed by how much the other occupies their thoughts/their daily life

realising certain single traits of the other they like/adore

being in the other's debt, so they can't hate them so much anymore, they 'have to' like them at least a little

getting flustered when the other is nice to them

realising they're feeling much better when they know that the other is happy

enjoying making the other smile

^ and being worried afterwards about these new strange sensations towards the other's happiness

They make a mutually beneficial agreement.

A wild misunderstanding.

They need to fake date.

A disaster (natural or otherwise).

They make a bet and are eager to settle it.

They team up against someone / something they mutually hate.

A gets injured and B helps them.

A needs help for a project that B is an expert on.

They get trapped in a space together.

They’re involved in the same wedding party.

Her eyes look down at you, hard but not without sympathy. “You are to leave the city gates by this evening. No soul is to address you by your true name, Butcher. Wander the land and either hope to find a place that will bend itself to your will, or seek the key to absolving your crimes and return to life as you knew it.” You see the glimmer of a smile play on her lips. This should be good. “Bring me the fey princess, dead, and I will offer you forgiveness.”
