Your needoh allows you to create a calm state around you, meaning no enemy attacks can hit you, leaving you “stress free.” This makes you two the perfect duo when it comes to his wide array of weapons that’ll never be a threat to you.

Sometimes after a long mission Rudo can’t help but squish the toy while holding your hand, appreciating how well it keeps you safe.

“Can I squeeze it? Huh?!? It’s totally not because I wanna hold your hand…”

ZANKA NIJIKU with a partner who has microscope as their vital instrument.

Zanka knows what it’s like to put a ton of care into a “bad” instrument. However, your instrument isn’t necessary bad, it’s just something he’d never expect.

So when you’re fighting a trash beast and he sees you use your microscope to see the anema of the beast and vaporize it, he’s awestruck. Half the time he couldn’t understand a single scientific word that came from your mouth, but he never questioned it.

He even offers to carry it for you, since it’s so heavy. Also, he collects strange foods or other organisms he thinks you’d find cool to look at. He doesn’t judge you for your “strange” instrument, instead he supports you because he knows what it’s like to have something “irregular.”

“I don’t know what telophase has to do with a trash beast, but go off.”

RIYO REAPER with a partner who has a makeup brush as their vital instrument.

Most people called your instrument dumb, saying it was too girly to do and probably was a very weak instrument. However, Riyo never judged you. Instead, she would ask for a makeover.

When you pulled out your makeup brush in battle though, she was amazed. You could change your appearance to anything you wanted, and that included making you invisible. Without being seen you could trick and kill a trash beast without them ever seeing it coming.

Now, when she asks for makeovers she wants to see if you can make yourself look like Enjin or Zanka just to mess with them!

“You look so pretty today, I can’t believe you killed a trash beast with that same brush.”

EISHIA STILZA with a partner who has a stuffed animal as their vital instrument.

Even though you’re well past the typical age to carry around a stuffed animal, you do. And Eishia is the last person to judge you for it. She doesn’t question it, just asking its name and petting its head softly.

So when a threat comes and that cute stuffie becomes a giant beast that you command to attack she is very shocked. How did such a cute thing become so viscous?!?

Sometimes, when your vital instrument gets battered in battle, she will rush it to August so he can sew it better. She calls it “emergency surgery” and takes it just as serious as a real patient.

“So cute, but so scary! Can I hold it?”

GUITA HEBBY FANTASIA with a friend who has a friendship bracelet as a vital instrument.

Now Guita is nothing if not a huge fan of anything fun and cool. So when she sees your pretty bracelet on your wrist she loves it, begging you to make her one.

And when you’re in battle and are able to use the bracelet as a ton of strings like a web, she gets even more excited.

If anyone dares to call your instrument weak or silly she WILL go full Kaiju on their ass, she loves your silly instrument.

However… she sometimes teases you and says “wow! Your ability is literally the power of friendship!”

“Don’t you have plans with them? It’s in two days.” Enjin asks like Rudo just admitted to a murder.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

So… through a rough back and forth, they find out that the sphere doesn’t have valentines. However, this doesn’t mean Rudo won’t celebrate it. All he hears from Riyo explanation is that it’s a day to show your partner how much you love them. And he loves you so much he definitely needs more than one day to express it all.

This is where the real fun begins. With only a day and a half to plan the, in the words of Enjin, “most important day for the cleaners ever” all hands were on deck.

With you two beings the resident puppy love couple, everyone wanted to help.

So off went Rudo, first going to Riyo and Enjin. They were… less than helpful though. Riyo rambles on about how he needs to just man up and kiss you while Enjin encourages the teasing. “Come on dude, it’ll be so romantic.” “Yeah, just a teeny weeny little kiss, mwah mwah.” Fair enough to say that Rudo stormed away from the two, grumbling with a blush on his cheeks.

Zanka was next, and his lesson was one on smiling. “You love them, right? So smile like a normal person and show them they make you happy.” Rudo spends the next 30 minutes having Zanka pulling at his cheeks trying to make him smile. To nobodies surprise, it doesn’t work well. Only at the end, right before Zanka was ready to give up, does the impossible happen. When Zanka says “You have to actually try. Imagine how happy they’ll be seeing you smile for once.” And when Rudo imagines you happy, the smallest smile forms on his face. With a proud smirk, Zanka nods and walks away.

August and Eishia soon drag him away. August screaming about how “ya need some style to impress ya bae!” While Eishia tries to quiet him down. “It wouldn’t hurt to dress well… I think they’ll appreciate it!” For the first time, maybe ever, August makes an outfit on a deadline. Giving Rudo a fresh new set of clothes that, in Augusts words, “will make ‘em drop dead!” With an encouraging smile for Eishia, and her explaining you wouldn’t actually die if he wore that outfit, he left.

As he carried his new outfit to his room he was called over by team child. Bro, Dear, and Guita had gotten word of this operation by Riyo and Guita absolutely could not wait to be involved. But, not surprisingly, she didn’t have much good advice to give him. And neither did Dear, so Bro had to step up and help out. “A tradition on Valentine’s Day is to give your partner chocolates.” Now that caught Rudo’s attention. A day with you AND sweets? Yeah, that’s officially the best day ever. “Mhm, but you gotta share!” Guita scolded before handing him a bag of sweets they had bought him for the occasion. “Dear knows they’re favorite treats from the time they spent watching him, so that bag has everything you’ll need.” Dear nodded aggressively as Guita continued to remind Rudo to share his sweet. Now, equipped with the perfect bag of sweets, Rudo was off once more.

Right before Rudo could go to his room, he had one more lesson. Gris, possibly the only person he took seriously. Their conversation wasn’t silly or teasing, just Gris putting his hand on Rudo’s shoulder as he reminded him “you love them, yeah? When you love someone, the most important thing is that you shouldn’t be afraid to show it. So be yourself, whatever that may be.” Rudo wasn’t too sure what that meant fully as he said it, but he was too tired to argue.

Now… it was the big day.

With all this planning, hours of conversations, and the perfect day in his mind, Rudo was ready. He had spent all night thinking of the perfect thing to say, how to express how absolutely in love he was.

But when he knocked on your door and you smiled at him with a sleepy “good morning” all that planning flew directly out the window.

He had spent hours trying to plan how he would show you he loved you, but love isn’t something you can plan. He knew that well from how he never planned on falling for you, and yet here he is. Blush up to his ears, clutching the bottom of his shirt as he blurts out “I love you!”

And when you laugh at his sudden proclamation, his heart grows warm.

You two spend the rest of the day wandering around the area surrounding HQ. He gives you the sweets that the Santa’s suggested, so flustered he could’ve died when you kissed his cheek after you bit into the treat.

He stutters out a thank you when you compliment the cute outfit that August had made him. Hands tugging at the hem of his shirt while you touched the soft material.

When you both end up alone under the cover of HQ’s dome, he builds up enough courage to ask “can I kiss you? Only if you want to!” And when you give him the softest, gentlest peck on his lips he thinks his soul just about leaves his body.

The day ends with you and him on the roof of HQ. Your hand wrapped around his, cheek pressed into his shoulder as you tiredly thank him for the perfect day.

There was just one more thing, something that had come to his mind all on his own. A gift, made from the trash he had been collecting with you in mind.

Gently, he took your right hand and put on the prettiest ring you had ever seen. “Thought you’d like it…” He admits calmly, despite the fire in his chest. When you curl you hand around his again, his breath stills, a quiet thank you.

He rests his head against yours, and as you drift off into sleep he knows that he wouldn’t trade this moment for the world. As he also starts to drift off, a small smile pulls at his lips.

Let’s just hope you both don’t wake up while Riyo and Enjin giggle and take pictures of you while you two sleep on each other.

Reo - While he may seems like gift giving, Reo likes to do things for you even more. The easy stuff, like holding the door, warming up the car, or giving you his jacket is a given like it’s the most natural thing in the world. usually you don’t even notice, so if you fall asleep on your phone you’ll wake up in his arms to your phone on the charger with your outfit neatly hung up and a pre cooked breakfast on the table

Isagi - Yoichi is… brutal on the field. But he’s a total sweetheart to you with everything he does. Every time you see each other he greats you with a compliment. “You look beautiful today” or “Your outfit is cute” all while his cheeks are burning red. He may be super shy around you, but he makes it a point to make it said how much he loves you
