Summary: In the destroyed post apocalyptic world, the reader saves a group from getting eaten alive by the undead. In turn, they offer her to join them. She would have said no, but the blue, trusting eyes of a certain brunette were too hard to resist.

The wind was more like loo, hot, humid and uncomfortable against your skin. Every time it moved, it stung your bare arms. It made a deep whooshing noise in the relative silence of the highway. Your feet were barely dragging across the concrete, and you were feeling light headed and very tired. You had to get to the next town, and fast. You had to find some food to get in your stomach. Or you might collapse right here on the side of the road. And there was no way youād wake up alive if that happened.
You rolled your eyes as a familiar groaning sound flooded into your ears. This particular undead was a female, at least, thatās what the dress on her withering body showed. Somehow, the skin had completely peeled off her scalp, so she didnāt have any hair to vouch for that fact. She was staggering towards the road, feet dragging her through the bushes and over to where you were walking. You didnāt even bother to touch your bow. You reached backwards, hand blindly grabbing a single arrow, which you pulled out and wedged directly into her decaying eye, and out the other side. Her voice stopped short and she collapsed. With some struggle, you pulled the arrow back out.
