"Half Dead"

It's evolving, just backward! Update 2.6 Blast from the Past is available now! This update has a long changelog, 3 new themes, 3 older themes got a bit of a rework, tons of new decorative trinkets were added, all for a better furnishing experience! Up in Steam Workshop and Chucklefish Community.

Last Sunday we updated to 2.5 in order to bring you that missing Autumn theme: "Autumn Breeze" just before the season is gone just to make all of your homes cozy. Now the seasonal themes are complete! It ain't much but it's something.

To thank everyone for their support, we have a new update that includes 3 new furniture sets. I’m grateful for all the love and support we’ve received the past two years, even with the bumps on the road, it’s been great and I’ve improved so much with my pixel art, I could’ve never imagined I’d get this far and hopefully I can take this to greater heights.

For this update, we have released a summer theme called the Tropical Summer Dream. That aside we added a “WW District” instance and a Neon Pollution biome that is pretty much more aesthetic rather than fully functional as a biome. For the full details of this update and how to get to the instance please make sure to read the change log either on Steam or the Chucklefish communities. Soon enough I will be showcasing that new biome.

Originally had done this one with sloped blocks but it kept bothering me so I just had to change it. The final product I was more satisfied with.

Dreäm Cätcher I had never given BYOS a try before too scared to screw something up and too lazy to actually make a build for a ship. Well, in the end, I suppose it worked out.

After a year of mod developing, Sthelen and I have finally found a fitting name for ourselves; Wisteria Whiskers. Wisteria being a lovely tree with a beautiful shade of violet, and Whiskers due to both identifying as kitten and bunny. It’s incredible how this mod has reached 10.6k subscribers just on Steam and it keeps growing. At this point, I have been asked many times why don’t I set up a Patreon page for ourselves but always thought it may be a bit too much since I do it out of passion. In the end, we considered making both, a Patreon and Ko-fi page just in case anyone ever considers wanting to donate anything to us and maybe support us if we one day do start a game project. As for trying to bring our subscribers together in harmony, we decided to also set up a Discord Server (https://discordapp.com/invite/WpjRR9z), I hope to see more of our Furnishers to join. This build happens to be right next to the research center, however, I haven’t posted this build to Reddit because it contains a bit of unreleased content from my mod IKN Furnishing. That and the water waterfalls underwater is like something out of Spongebob, having a sea under the sea. Guess the name Hidden Myth fits.

After a while, I finally decided to stop being lazy and enter another Build of the Week contest in reddit. This time the theme is Ocean base. Not sure if I’m fully satisfied with it.

Another build meant for the reddit contest, Build of the Week. The theme is a waterfront cabin, no one said it couldn’t be contemporary styled. Used the opportunity to use my new set of furniture, Sleek & Elegant which is aimed at humans though I play a novakid.

So I ended up remodeling one of the micro dungeons that spawn for the bounty hunting system, I’d say it came out pretty nice. Mostly vanilla items and complemented with Prop Pack mod.

Well, time kept passing by and I slowly worked on the sprites because I only have so much time in my hands and I need to distribute between many things, aside from work sucking the life out of me. I managed to work out 3 new themes where one theme count as basically two being called Nautical & Sea Voyage where it has a nautical theme and one under the sea theme since I loved skittle’s Merrkin race and wanted to do something that matched, then my friend tells me she was going on holidays the 11th, which had me panic, I wasn’t going to finish it completely, there was no way. Even yesterday I had to decide cutting down to 4 instead of 5 new themes because I didn’t want the update to be past the initial release date, for some reason didn’t bother me releasing the update earlier but releasing after did. In the end, I had to rush the last theme I was working out, I mean I had worked it out earlier but kinda hated it, wasn’t satisfied with it, put it aside, worked other themes and ended up going back to it with fresh ideas and well, Luxurious Casino theme is half decent I’d say, I wasn’t sure about those couches, but it turned out pretty decent. At this point, I’m just hoping to see people enjoy this update and use it to their heart’s content. Makes me happy to hear people express how much they like the furniture and the honest feedback or there being anything they’d like to see added to the existing themes or suggesting completely new ones.

Trying out new furniture sprites, they’re for one of the brand new themed furniture sets we’re releasing in the next update of IKN Furnishing. Still trying to learn the difference between modern, contemporary and minimalist. Still, it’s supposed to be human dedicated. I’ve learned so much about furniture names, feel like I’ve been doing a lot of stupid things as well. Messing up more than normal. Work is really getting to me.

This is another build I’ve made for Build of the Week in Reddit, it’s the first time ever I’ve tried making a house on a tree, I think it turned out nicely even though the stair placing almost made me pull my hairs.
