My Hoya carnosa finally bloomed! Not a perfect umbel sphere that you'd normally see, but lovely for a first bloom I think. Hoyas (also known as wax plants) have such an interesting fragrance- sweet, but sometimes a bit off- typical of some fly-pollinated plants. People have been asking and it’s done healing so here it is- first tattoo! My reminder when I am spiralling and have lost faith, that there is one trait of myself that I will always own and be proud of. I may sink and screw myself, but I don’t give up. Dig in those kitty claws and hang on. Ironically it’s on the same leg I had knee and foot surgeries on- other reminders of trials I have overcome (and the arthritis I get to look forward to 😉.) At first I used my own cursive, but then decided it would be meaningful for it to be the script of one of my ever faithful and beautiful besties @singmetodreams!! Another reminder that I am supported and loved. I can already see why people say they’re like potato chips- I already have more planned!
