As the clock hits 3pm, your heart starts racing more than it did the last few hours. You were pacing, practicing your presentation out loud. Hoping it would ease your nerves somehow but in vain. 

You had never felt this amount of stress before, and in a way, it was understandable because this whole thing was more than just an assignment. It had a whole story behind it, it was the story of you and Hanta. You were snapped out from your thoughts when you heard a door open. 

Three faces appeared from the corner with big smiles plastered on their faces.

’’I’m so glad to see you, I can’t stop shaking’’ you engulfed them in your arms one by one. 

‘’Hey I’ve never seen you in that state, It’s going to be okay’’ Ochaco took your hands in hers. 

The interaction made you smile, happy knowing you had them supporting you. The three of them did their best to reassure you as you both waited. 

‘’It looks even better in real life, you know. Hanta will drop to his knees.’’ Himiko chuckled. 

‘’Let’s put the cover back on before everyone arrives’’ Izuku continued. ‘’It’s time’’ They got up and went outside but not before hugging you a second time.

You sighed, paper in hand, scanning through for the hundredth time what you had written. A few minutes passed by and your teacher came through the door, some classmates following behind her. 

You got into position beside your canvas, eyes fixed on the door. Ochaco, Himiko and Izuku came through first, flashing you a thumbs up. 

Soon after, Katsuki, Eijiro, Denki and Mina showed up, they all gave you a wink in support and then finally Hanta, your Hanta emerged. 

The spark came back in your eyes and you felt your cheeks warm up. He looked at you with a familiar fondness in his eyes before taking his place in front. 

He mouthed a soft ‘’I love you’’ at you and your teacher spoke up.

‘’Thank you for the ones present, it was optional but it makes a great crowd. It’s going to put you more in the mood of a gallery presentation’’ she smiled at you. ’’You can start.’’ 

You took a deep breath in and looked up. 

‘’At first I wasn’t sure what I could make of this. To make this piece, not just me but all of my classmates had to find someone. A stranger. Which wasn’t an easy task. You had to convince this person to trust you, make them tell you their story, their life, their past. Not everyone would agree but I got lucky.’’ you gestured to your friends. 

‘’I want to give a special thanks to Ochaco, Himiko and Izuku. For helping me find this person which you will see next, absolutely changed my life in the greatest way possible.’’ They all beamed at you. Hanta in the meantime didn't take his eyes off you for a single second. 

‘’ Hanta Sero was the person I chose. From the moment I met him, I knew it would change a lot of things. I just had this feeling inside of me.’’ You moved around a lot to make you seem more confident. 

‘’ I learned he loved and played volleyball and he kindly let me into his world. I could see how passionate he was about it and how much it meant to him. It was and is an important part of his life. 

He introduced me to his friends, which soon became my friends as well and I couldn’t be more grateful.’’ Everyone listened to every single word you said, whispering between themselves. 

‘’This newfound friendship soon turned into something more. Something I couldn’t quite grasp at first. And I can confidently say that I fell utterly in love with this man’’ you smiled and revealed the painting to every one and you could hear gasps fill the room.

You searched for Hanta’s eyes, to see what his reaction was. His mouth was wide open and he didn’t move a muscle which made you want to laugh but you needed to stay focused…for now. 

‘’I took inspiration from the Sunflowers from Vincent Van Gogh for the placements of the Cempasúchil’s. Which are deeply rooted in Mexican culture, especially during Dia de los Muertos. They can represent resilience, passion and joy which are all qualities I see in Hanta. 

You can see the roots forming the shape of heart in the middle which is a symbol of the love that deeply grew in myself. 

In the background, the shadow of a life study I did of him during one match, with the ball in the corner all connected with the thread of life you can see right there’’

You continued for a few more minutes, talking about the process of it all. All the references you had taken inspiration from. You sighed from relief and the room erupted in loud claps. 

You pushed a strand of hair behind your eyes, suddenly shy after all the pressure disappeared.

’’Thank you so much for this wonderful presentation and piece. You can be proud and sleep soundly now. You did great.’’ Your teacher broke the silence. You never saw her sound that…cheerful. 

She and the rest of your classmates cleared out from the studio, your friends staying behind to congratulate you. But before you could say anything, Hanta ran up to you lifting you off the ground, twirling you around. 

‘’Hanta !’’ you laughed loudly. As his hands seemed to be glued to your body even when he put you back on the ground. 

‘’You are my God’s given solace mi vida’’ (see what i did there…) ‘’You are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me, I cannot believe I hold such a space in your heart. I am the luckiest man in the world for I get to call you mine, now and forever.’’

He caressed your cheek in the most loving way possible as he looked at you like you planted the stars in the sky. 

‘’Can I kiss you ?’’ he asked softly.

’’Of course you can.’’ you grinned. 

He then quickly captured your lips, pouring all the love and affection he couldn’t put into words in this kiss. 

Your arms wrapped around his neck and his around your waist. He pulled you closer to him, holding like you would disappear the moment he let go. 

Hanta reluctantly pulled away, knowing your friends were still present. They all walked up to you, hugging you and congratulating you.

’’I literally teared up half way in. You are a gem darling, you are going to become such a great artist’’ Mina said cheerfully. 

‘’Told you it was gonna be okay’’ Katsuki ruffled your hair teasingly. 

‘’Thank you so much you guys, I can finally breathe oh my god’’ you groaned and fell dramatically on Hanta, catching you smoothly. 

‘’We’re all nearly done with our exams and you know what this calls for…’’ Mina turned to everyone with a devilish smirk.

’’ A PARTY’’ Her and Denki yelled. Earning a laugh from all of you. 

Another page was soon going to be turned but you weren’t scared because you knew you would share it with them.

The sun soon joined the edge of the water, hues of yellows and pinks dancing at the surface. A soft wind blew through the air. 

As you get dried up, you begin to smell smoke.

”Are you guys lighting a campfire ?” you ask laughing, wiping a wet strand of hair from your face.

“We can’t go on a trip without doing the must have campfire night” Eijiro and Denki said at the same time. 

You watched as they both grabbed pieces of wood to throw into the fire. Slowly, everyone began to gather around the warmth. Grabbing blankets, marshmallows and what not before settling on some pieces of wood. 

As the sun almost set completely, the fire was big enough to start roasting the marshmallows. You took two pieces of biscuit and let the marshmallow melt between them. 

“ I’m so happy to be here with you guys” Ochaco broke the silence. 

You all turned your heads in her direction with a soft smile.

”I was already content with my life, but you all suddenly came in and just…made it even better” She leaned on Himiko’s shoulder who wrapped her arm around her waist.

” Which I didn’t even know was possible.” she chuckled and Himiko continued. “ I never thought I’d say this but thank GOD for your teacher” she directed her eyes towards you.

”If it wouldn’t have been for her and that assignment of hers, we probably wouldn’t be here right now with these sweet idiots” she grinned when denki made a shocked expression before dramatically placing his hand on his heart. 

“ I’ll admit I never thought it would come this far…” you looked down. “But I couldn’t be more grateful…for it brought me the greatest friends one could ever ask for and…” your eyes drifted towards Hanta, who was lovingly staring at you at your left.

”The person I’m hoping to spend the rest of my life with” you felt a single tear roll down your cheek, slight surprise visible in your eyes. You haven’t felt yourself tear up from the happiness you were currently experiencing.

Hanta reached for your face, cradling it in the palm of his hand before wiping your cheek with his thumb.

”You don’t even realise what that means to me to hear you say that mi vida..” he grins like a child and pecks your lips, one, two, three times.

He only stops after hearing someone clear his throat.

”Just in case you forgot, we’re still here” Katsuki interrupts and the rest laughs.

”And just in case you forgot, you have something to do tonight” you smirked teasingly, causing his ears to turn red.

”You’re insufferable” he mumbles under his breath.

You both continued to bicker like siblings, earning questioning but loving looks from your friends. As the night finally settled, you watched as Hanta got up and walked towards the house. After a few minutes he came out with a guitar in hand.

”Where did you even get that ?”

”Saw it when we were exploring the house” he winked at you.

”You know how to sing ?” Izuku asks. 

“I’m a man of many talents” he responds and starts playing a soft melody.

He hums and you finally hear him begin to sing softly. — Amor by Alta Elegancia.

You stare at him, stars in your still teary eyes. Had he hid this from you this whole time ? How much more perfect could he get? You wondered just how many more things you’ll learn about him in the future.

Even though you didn’t understand all the words, you felt how much love he poured into his voice.

You could make out words like ‘’te quiero’ and immediately knew he was singing for you.

You wanted to say something, anything but you didn’t want to interrupt this moment. So you settled on smiling as you felt your face heat up after each lyric. 

The others silently enjoyed the music as they watched the scene in front of them. Some had decided that this instant belonged to the two of you and had made their way inside.

‘’Amor, amor, amor, amor

He kept repeating that last part, his eyes stuck on you the whole time. As you swayed your head from side to side, you noticed from the corner of your eyes Katsuki whispering something to Izuku before they disappeared together.

You smiled to yourself and focused again on Hanta. When he stopped you couldn’t help but say ‘’Is this a response to my confession from earlier ?’’ you teased.

‘’In a way yes but I’ve been waiting for the perfect moment to sing this song to you for a long time..’ he watched as you sighed lovingly.

‘’I love you, so much. The more time we spend together, the more I feel this love growing.’’ You laced your fingers with his.

 ‘’I can’t imagine being with anyone else’’ He leaned down and pressed a tender kiss to your lips. Your hands finding his hair to hold on to as his hands found their place on your waist. 

He always kissed you like it was the last time. And it always made you see stars. 

You stopped abruptly hearing something rustling behind him. His lips still reached for yours as he opened his eyes in confusion. 

‘’ Are you—‘’ he wiped his head around, staring at what your eyes were stuck on. A large grin on your face. 

From the darkness you could see Katsuki and Izuku emerging from farther away while holding hands. 

You jumped from your seat and ran towards them, leaving a baffled Hanta.

’’I TOLD you’’ you half yelled, pointing an accusing finger at him.

’’So what, I never denied it…’’ Katsuki looked away, making Izuku roll his eyes.

’’He was shitting his pants the whole time, you should’ve seen it’’ he chuckled.

 ‘’Traitor.’’ 

‘’Your traitor’’ he nudged his shoulder teasingly.

’’Well, well what do we have here’’ Hanta interrupted. ‘’I see Mr grumpy over there finally decided to make a move’’ 

‘’Do you all have to jump me like this…’’

 ‘’Yes.’’ The three of you answered. 

The four of you made your way towards the house, ending this day on a very good note. As you walked through the door you saw Ochaco and Himiko still up, eating snacks in the kitchen. 

While Mina, Denki and Eijiro were already asleep on the couch, all tangled up together. The new lovebirds joined the girls in the kitchen while you yawned and decided to go upstairs.

’’You’re tired amor?’’ Hanta sneaked up beside you.

‘’Mmh’’ you mumbled, rubbing your eyes. ‘’I need to lay downnn…My legs hurt’’ 

In a second, you felt yourself get lifted in the air. ‘’You only had to say it’’ he smiled, walking towards the stairs with you in his arms. 

You giggled at his cheesiness and rested your head on his chest. 

Hanta reached your room and laid you down on the bed before joining you. Laying there he just stared at you, running his hand through your hair.

’’Speaking of the assignment, how is it going?’’ He broke the silence. 

You had almost forgotten about it with everything that's been going on, the deadline was near and you haven’t really started painting the final canvas.

Sketches were adoring your floor and books. Not really decided on what you were going to do exactly, you wanted it to be perfect, especially because now it represented the love of your life. 

‘’I don’t know actually…I do have ideas but I just I want it to be good, real good’’

’’I’m sure whatever you do will be great. You have real talent mi vida. Don’t be scared to try. Even if it doesn’t come out the way you want it to, you can try again until it does’’ He spoke with gentleness.

‘’You always know the right thing to say…’’ 

Slowly, he leaned in, his lips ghosting over yours. The kiss was filled with something sweet. Something deeper. Like he was pouring out all his love through it. 

He pulled back smiling.

‘’You like kissing me that much?’’ you smirked, tracing a finger across his collarbone.

’’Oh you don’t even know.’’ 

His hands traced random shapes on your thighs, his eyes filled with an unreadable expression. 

‘’What are you thinking?’’ you ask.

’’About how pretty you are’’ you scoffed jokingly.

He looked at you for a few seconds, hesitating, before he leaned in again. This time he kissed you with more passion. Interlocking his fingers with yours, you felt his body move above yours. 

Your hands tugged at the back of his head as his hands roamed all over your hips and thighs. You whined into the kiss, earning a groan from him.

 ‘’I really want to take things slow, but you’re making it so hard…’’ he detached his lips from yours with a pop and nuzzled his head in your neck. 

‘’We don’t have to go all the way, we can just…you know’’ you looked away suddenly shy.

‘’You’re sure ?’’ he asked, looking down at you with puppy dog eyes.

You laugh. ‘’Yes I’m sure’’ 

He began kissing your neck, your head slightly rolling back. His hands sliding down slowly towards your shirt. 

You lifted it, revealing the now dry swimsuit. 

‘’God you look gorgeous’’ He sighed and trailed kisses from your collar bone down to your belly.

His body settled between your legs, like a missing puzzle piece. He lifted the skirt you were wearing and pressed a soft kiss on your underwear. You let out a whine and tilted your head back. 

You sadly weren’t alone and didn’t want to alert the others downstairs so you tried your best to muffle your sounds.

You felt him moving your underwear to the side as his mouth began working his magic on you. Your hand instinctively wrapping around his hair for support. 

Your back arched as he reached the spots you couldn’t alone. Your breath now heavy as your thighs framed his face. 

‘’Hanta…’’ you mumbled after a few minutes.

He hummed, sending a shiver down your spine. 

‘C..close’’ you whispered and he continued making you see stars for a second time tonight but for an entirely different reason. 

You felt yourself release as his hands squeezed your now trembling legs. He kissed the inside of your thighs as he watched you catch your breath. 

You stroked his hair when he got back above you and kissed you again. 

He settled down on your chest and hugged you close. ‘’This is now my favourite position’’ earning a chuckle from you ‘’Is it now ? I wonder why…’’

After finally leaving the store, with more than enough food to feed an entire army, the operation : making dinner for nine people has begun.

“For everyone's best interest, you, Denki will sit down and won’t move a muscle. Understood ?” Mina said glaring at the boy with a hint of a smirk on her face. “Ma’am yes Ma’am” He shouted back.

Everyone settled in their respective places, ones who preferred watching the food getting ready on the couch like Himiko or Eijiro or the ones who were actually making dinner. Like none other than Katsuki, with a little help as he liked to call it from others.

“You would all starve to death if I wasn’t here” he said without looking from the cutting board. You cleared your throat at this. “You may be one of the best cooks here but you’re not the only cook i recall” you smiled ”I too have my qualities”.

”Yeah right” he grinned nudging your shoulder playfully.

Before you can retort back, a familiar hand made its way to your waist. “I can confirm, she makes the best chili con carne. But don't tell my ma I said that or I'll loose the favorite child privileges…” Hanta chuckles and pretends to hide behind your shoulder.

“Favorite child you say? I doubt that” Ochaco chimed in.

“Yeah don't you have two younger sisters? I bet they're the actual favorites” Eijiro points at him from the couch. Hanta had already told you all about his family but you had yet to see them in person.

You've been together 4 months so it was normal…right? Perhaps he wasn't ready to introduce you despite him saying they knew all about already with how much he talked about you whenever he came home.

You chased this thought away from your head and went back on focusing on the steak you were seasoning.

Mina made her way back to the kitchen “This place was missing some music” she said with a speaker in her right hand before connecting her phone to it and picking an adequate playlist for this lovely evening.

Better man by Leon bridges was now echoing through the living room, giving it a sweet and laid back atmosphere. Himiko got up from her seat and reached her hand out to Ochaco who smiled and took her hand.

Soon, almost everyone was giggling and dancing together to the music while you and Katsuki watched from behind the kitchen counter. You both continued on chopping some more things for the two salads you had made, the steaks were almost finished grilling and you only had to put it all on the table.

You watched as Hanta made his way back to you, moving his shoulders from side to side and you already knew what he had in mind.

“No no, I’m all dirty. Look at my me!” You uttered showing your hands and the apron you were wearing.

“This has never stopped me from holding you” he grabbed your hand and made you twirl, a chuckle escaping you before following his lead.

“You are unbelievable”

“That’s how you like me” he planted a kiss on the crown of your head.

“Yes I do”

As you made it to the “dancefloor”, the song ended and the next one began, To Love Somebody by Bee Gees. Hanta pulled you towards him and you took his right hand in your left one while your other gravitated to his back. You both swayed gently to the rhythm, resting your head on his chest, smiling to yourself while he nuzzled his nose in your hair.

Right there in this moment, you felt the happiest you’ve ever been in your entire life. To be surrounded by the kindest, most considerate man you have ever met and your precious friends. All together in the same place was like a dream come true. How did you ever get so lucky ?

“I’m the lucky one here” Hanta suddenly whispered.

“How did you—” you looked up at him in surprise.

“I just know you that well amor” he pressed a gentle kiss at the corner of your lips before twirling you again and bringing you back in one swift motion.

“Such a sweet talker huh ?” you continued to dance tenderly unaware of the multiple eyes staring at you two.

Katsuki was putting the table together with the help of Mina when he whispered.

“As much as I hate to admit it, they’re really made for each other”

“Oh you being sappy that’s a first” she chuckled. “Just kidding, you’re even worse with Izuku”

He quickly whipped his head around. “ No I’m not? The hell are you talking about” he exclaimed as softly as he could.

“I love you okay, but you can be such an idiot sometime. It’s obvious you both like each other AND slightly flirt when you think we’re not looking but everybody can see it. Well except you” she pointer her finger at him with a raised eyebrow.

“I…We’re not— Whatever, we’ve known each other since we were practically babies, it’s normal to be close with your friends” he cleared his throat before calling everyone to the table. Mina rolled her eyes and choose her seat.

“What were you talking about ?” Izuku asked curious.

“Oh you know just Kats being stupid” she answered jokingly.

Katsuki groaned before sitting in his chair, Izuku chuckled and his ears turned a soft shade of red.

You and Hanta quickly notice he was annoyed but decided to ask him about it later. For now you wanted to enjoy this moment and the dinner you took forever to make.

“Oh my god, this is so good. I will be eating until I can’t push anything down my throat” Denki said, earning a disgusted look from nearly everyone.

“I didn’t need this image in my head” Eijiro laughed.

You all ate and talked for what felt like hours. The calm atmosphere was replaced by loud laughter and voices when a debate began on the most random things ever. Denki being obviously the one behind all of them. After you all finished, half of you helped cleaning the kitchen, considering this was quite a big feast, you thanked the universe for having a dishwasher because knowing your friends, no one was going to volunteer…Well except Katsuki but he already did a lot tonight and you weren’t going to pester him with something else.

As everything got back to its place, every one had made their way towards the couch and some decided to sit on the ground while Ochaco picked a movie for the night. Something preferably not that interesting since you were definitely going to fall asleep half way in.

You sat between Hanta who had his arm around you and Katsuki who was pretending to be focused on the movie but you could clearly see that his eyes were drifting towards a certain green-haired boy. You nudged him slightly before speaking.

“You alright ? What did you and Mina spoke about”

He looked at you before letting out a sigh and whispering.

“Apparently I’m being an idiot who can’t admit his feelings”

“Wait are you not already with Izuku?” you tilted your head confused. You were convinced they already were dating but knowing him he wasn’t much on public affection.

He looked at you, surprised at your comment. “What— No.”

“You’re not?!” you half whispered from the sheer confusion you were feeling.

“You’re not going to start as well…” he brought his head back with a groan.

You smiled before whispering again. “Come on. Let’s go have a talk.” you wiggled your eyebrows, taking the advantages of everyone already being out.

You pressed a soft kiss on Hanta’s cheek, feeling him stir up in his sleep before standing up, Katsuki following close behind into the nearest secluded room.

You settled yourself on the ground, pillows and blankets surrounded the both of you.

‘So…tell me everything” you began.

“I don’t even know where to begin or what to say. This is stupid” He groaned into his hands

“There’s not a right way to do things, especially when it’s about feelings. Just do it your way and at the pace you want to.”

“Stop being right ‘cause then I can’t get out of this.”

“That’s exactly why I’ll continue.” You smirk.

He dropped his head down before sighing for the hundredth time this night.

An hour later, you were both still talking.

“He just makes it so easy to like him. Always taking care of others, of me, and even back when I didn’t really deserve it. He never left my side, and I guess this all just started there…”

“Oh wow. I never knew you held this much in.” You said surprised. It wasn’t always he was this open, but you were glad you got to share this moment. Knowing he trusted you with this.

“From what I’ve seen and heard, I can guarantee you he feels the same.” He looked at you with the most deadpan face a person could make. “In the impossible scenario where he doesn’t, you know how understanding he is? He would never make you feel bad.”

“It still doesn’t make it easier. Sometimes I wish I could just be as open as Hanta or even…Denki. God don’t ever repeat that or he’ll never let me live that down.”

You chuckled with how sincere he was being right now.

“These things take time. Don’t force yourself to do anything you’re not feeling comfortable doing, but I think this lasted long enough don’t you think?”

He looked to the side with a soft smile.

“Yeah. You’re right. Thanks.” You both got up, and you spread your arms out, inviting him for a hug. He surprisingly obliged without saying anything, feeling he needed some comfort from someone.

You made your way to the door when a familiar head emerged from the side of it.

“Oh there you are, everyone went to their rooms. I was looking for you” Hanta sneaked his hand around your waist before giving you a quick kiss.

“And that’s my cue to leave” Katsuki left towards his room.

You smiled at your boyfriend. “Let’s go.”

Ever since he sent you that message you’ve been anxious of what he had in mind. You couldn’t stop thinking about it and hated that you had to wait the whole weekend for it.

He hasn’t texted you since and your head was overflowing with scenarios.

“I think I'm going to go insane” you say groaning as you walk in the kitchen where the girls were cooking together.

“It’s going to be fine you drama queen. It’s not the first time you hang out without any plans” Himiko says while chopping vegetables.

You cross your arms and lean on the doorframe. “But it feels like it's more than this, he hasn’t even texted me since” you retort.

Throwing your head back with another groan, you approach the counter and take a piece of cut cucumber.

“Listen, it’s Hanta okay. There’s nothing to worry about” Mina comes up to you and puts her hand on your shoulders. “So stop your drama, and we’ll soon clear your mind with our little girl time mmh” she tilts her head with a reassuring smile.

You sigh and laugh. “You’re right, now that I admitted that I liked him, I've been overthinking every small thing he does…”

“So you do still have some sense left in you” Ochaco turns to you both with a smirk.

“Oh shut up” you roll your eyes. “Now what do you need help with” you ask, rolling your sleeves up.

You and the girls were now having a little party every weekend when you didn't have anything else planned. You cooked and baked together, chose a movie to watch while sipping a glass of wine.

Pretty cliché yes, but don’t clichés always end up being the best.

At the end of the night, you all go back to your rooms and as you lay down on your bed slightly tipsy, you grab your phone and open your discussion with Hanta and just type.

You woke up the next day thankful classes were canceled today, so you could prepare yourself mentally before 6pm came. You were of course excited to spend the evening with him but you just had that weird gut feeling that something was going to happen.

As you slowly got ready, showering, finding a simple and comfortable but still cute outfit, you were left sitting on the couch.

It was only 3pm and you decided to draw some composition ideas for the painting.

”What are you working on?” Ochaco walks in with two cups of hot chocolate, handing one to you. You smile and thank her, sipping on the warm drink.

”Trying out some composition for the painting. Pinpointing where everything is going to be you know”

“It’s ending soon right?” she asks, seating next to you.

“Actually, our teacher realized she may have been too hard on us and gave us the whole year.” you chuckle.

“Wait what— How come I didn't hear about this?!” she straightened herself.

“She sent us an email quite late in the night. Some sense got knocked in her head at 2am I guess” you laugh.

”That’s great! More time with Hanta” she elbows you and chuckles.

”Stop…” you say shyly, hiding your face with your hand.

“Do I look good?” you ask worriedly as you show off your outfit.

”For the hundredth time… Yes you look great” all three of your friends sigh dramatically.

You’ve been running around between your room, the bathroom and the living room to make sure you were looking good. You knew it had to be a simple hang out but couldn’t help the amount of stress you had inside you.

And before you knew it, the sound of the doorbell echoed in your apartment and the girls immediately went into hiding.

You shook your head at their silliness and went to open the door thinking to yourself. This is Hanta, it’s going to be fine, nothing is happening.

As you open the door, you see him standing there with a smirk on his face but you could see the crease between his eyebrows, indicating he was nervous.

He looks you up and down and you can see him gulp before taking a breath.

“Ready to go?”

“Been waiting forever” you walk out the door and roll your eyes teasingly and he guides you down to his car. Once you get there, he opens the door for you.

”What a gentleman we have there” you tease.

”You doubted it?”

”Never”

After a few minutes he parked his car in front of a quite big building.There was no indicative sign of what the building was, it only had two wide doors in the front. He gets out first and helps you out of the car.

”So what are we doing?”

”You’re so impatient, wait a few more seconds” he ruffles your hair.

”Well if you had texted me, maybe i wouldn’t be so lost. “your words come out a bit more bitter than you wanted to.

You walk through the reception with him and he grabs your hand and asks you to close your eyes.

”Hanta seriously…”

“Come on, hermosa just a few more seconds.” he pouts and you couldn’t resist.

Guiding you through a corridor, he opens the door and you can feel the breeze hitting you again in the face. He stops and walks behind you.

“You can open your eyes now”

You take a deep breath and open your eyes. You are greeted by an empty ice skating rink. No one, absolutely no one was here. Small lights were hanging all around the rink, you could hear a song quietly in the background that you recognise to be Just like Heaven by The Cure.

You turn your head to Hanta, mouth agape. You had no idea what to say, did he set everything up himself. Did he ask to privatize the whole ice rink for you two?

”Hanta this…this is absolutely crazy. Did— did you do that all by yourself?” you ask.

”Well I’ve had help but it was my idea yeah…” he rubs his neck nervously. “You like it?”

“Like it? Hanta I love it! This is incredible” you ran to his arms hugging him. He’s taken back but hugs you back almost instantly.

After breaking the embrace, he grabs your hand again.

“Shall we?”

“We shall.”

You don’t think you’ve ever had that much fun before. This was truly like something out of a movie. You and Hanta were both skating for god knows how long, dancing along to the playlist he had made for the occasion and you couldn’t help but fall even more for the boy.

How could you not honestly. He’s all you had ever dreamed of and he keeps showing you that everyday. As you hold hands you can’t help but have a constant smile on your face.

Hanta kept glancing at you and his eyes softened anytime you looked at him with that sparkle in your eyes or with that pretty smile of yours. He keeps going back to the day you first met and how everything had evolved between the two of you ever since.

All thanks to that assignment you had been given. He never felt luckier than right now.

He spins you around just to hear that laugh he wishes to hear for the rest of his life. And as you continued to skate around, he let go of your hand and you slid away, without realizing he wasn’t by your side anymore.

The lights suddenly shut off but came back a second later, less bright this time. As you turn around, you see Hanta a bit further away from you and the song changes.

Can’t Take My Eyes of You by Frankie Valli begins playing at a low volume and you hide your face in your hands trying to hold in your chuckle and the warmth that was spreading to your cheeks.

Surely this wasn’t real right, you had to be dreaming.

When you look back up, Hanta was right in front of you. A dorky smile is present on his face as he holds a bouquet of flowers tightly in his hands.

You can’t help the wobbly smile that spreads across your face as you both stare at each other before Hanta begins talking.

“First of all I’m sorry for not texting you at all this weekend. I may have been as nervous as you and maybe even more because I wanted everything to be perfect.” He chuckles and you continue smiling at him.

”Fuck..uh” he struggled to find words when you looked at him like that.

“I don’t think I can hide how I feel anymore. Ever since we first met, you’ve been the only thing on my mind and I only wanted to get to know you more. The more time we spent together, the more this feeling grew.” he looks down before looking back up.

”You brighten up every single one of my days and…” he stops for a moment but you continue looking at him adoringly. Heart beating fast you think it might get out of your chest. It seems like time had stopped before he continued.

”I love you y/n… Te amo querida.”

You feel your eyes getting wet so you take your hand to wipe them away but you suddenly feel Hanta’s hand caress your cheek and wipe a falling tear with his thumb.

”You okay?” he asks worried.

You nod reassuringly. “Never been more okay.”

”I love you too Hanta” you respond back through a half chuckle and sob.

He softly puts down the bouquet before wrapping his arms around your waist, taking you off the ground and spinning you around. Surprising you as he still had his ice skates on. He puts you back on the ground and asks.

”Can I kiss you?”

”Of course you idiot”

His hands held both of your cheeks tenderly before he plants his lips on yours. You were quick to wrap your hands around his neck, pulling him closer to you.

One of his hands slowly moved to wrap itself around your waist. Your mouths moving slowly in a perfect tender rhythm. He couldn’t pull away, you were too sweet for that. And as you moved your hands into his hair he felt like he was in heaven. You pulled away for a second to breathe and chuckle at your flushed faces before his lips found their way back to yours.

Snow was falling all around you and as the slow kisses turned fast you both got lost in the moment.

His lips finally parted from yours after a while. Panting and heavy breaths were all you were hearing as you looked at each other.

“Does that mean I’m yours mi amor” he breaks the silence.

“What do you think…”

”I don’t know, maybe it was just a friendly kiss.” he jokes.

”Oh you’re such an idiot. I hate you”

”You know you love me” he grins, pulling you closer if that was even possible.

“Yes. Yes I do”

After that, he wanted to immortalize this day. So Hanta brought you to the nearest photo booth and had you both take the cutest pictures ever.

“Come on this is going to be fun” he urges you.

You take off your coats and begin posing. You laugh and make the silliest faces. Bringing his face to yours, you pepper his cheek with kisses.

He drives you back to the apartment and both of you couldn’t keep your hands to yourself. You were still in his car, the only difference was that you were now sitting on his lap.

The kisses grew deeper and he couldn’t let go of you. He became obsessed the moment he had a taste of you. You tug slightly at his hair as you feel him bite your bottom lip before going back to kiss your already swollen lips.

“Hanta…” you whisper when you pull back from him.

”Yes mi vida…” He places soft kisses at the nape of your neck, eyes not leaving yours.

“It’s getting late. I should go” you caress his cheek.

”Already…what time is it?” He reaches for his phone and reads the time. 11:05pm.

Hanta groans and settles his head on your chest as you begin playing with his hair. Staying in that position for a few more minutes before you plant a small kiss on his head and get back to the passenger seat.

You put your coat back on and hear Hanta open his door. You get ready to get out with the bouquet in your hands but he beats you to it and opens your door before bending down and wrapping his arms behind your back and knees.

”Hanta, what are you—“ you make a small noise as he slightly adjusts you on his arms.

He closes the car door with his legs and locks it.

“Up you go” he smiles down at you and you roll your eyes.

He takes you up the stairs and to your front door. He sets you down and you search for your keys.

“Thank you for today Hanta” you say, opening the door quietly.

You set the bouquet on the table before turning back to him.

”I’ll see you soon” you wrap your arms around his shoulders and plant a sweet kiss on his lips one last time.

“Dream of me amor” he winks at you and steals another kiss before making his way to the stairs. You begin to turn around but stop yourself in your tracks when you see him kissing his hand and sending the “kiss” to you.

You chuckle quietly and mimic grabbing the kiss and planting it on your cheek and watch him smile like a little kid. Only then you truly go back to your apartment and close the door with a smile on your face.
