Toyah Paranoyah : Weekly Dose of NoNsense

I am honored to be a part of Goths for Sanctuaries Festival! It pulls artists from all over the world and takes place virtually, online to gather the funds for animal sanctuaries around the world. I have a privilege to perform live on the opening night Thursday night, April 14th- but the festival itself takes place until April 19th. Benek will be featured alongside me - how could I not include him for this occasion! My stream performance will be live and unedited, and will be filmed in my temporary headquarters ( my unfinished basement that is becoming a creative hub/studio ). If there are things falling on my head, it is because of this ongoing construction - I am NOT stopping my performance! 

Lumbra Productions and Evil Handyman will be helping me film that so that we have multiple angles for you to watch. Now, there are many sanctuaries you can choose from to donate to - there is a whole list but I strongly encourage my friends and fans to donate to the Ukrainian ones due to a current war: Bear Sanctuary or Shelter Friend. Pets and animals in Ukraine need our action now, so please be a part of solution!

Recent COVID-19 pandemic is a hard time for the most of us, but for some it is especially difficult to stay in balance. Many of us face depression, suicidal thoughts and hopelessness. This auction came to life to help spread awareness of mental health importance and remind us all there is hope and we are in this together. By raising the funds for American Foundation for Suicide Prevention-AFSP, this auction aids research, help centers, and immediate attention and assistance via hot line: 1-800-273-8255, and much more of non stopping efforts done each day for our mental health. The artists who painted and donated the pieces being auctioned here, created their art to the selected I Ya Toyah songs' lyrical content from her Code Blue album (with exception of Forbidden Bark and Funeral for Love that are non album singles). Code Blue content is devoted to the subject of mental health and suicide prevention, giving it a base for the participating artists to extend these written thoughts onto the canvas, and continue the conversation about mental health through not just musical medium, but also through the visual arts.
