More proof he didn’t need a flatmate- dude lives comfortably as hell. You can’t convince me Mike Stamford didn’t look at John Watson and go “Sherlock will love this guy” and lied through his teeth when he told John he had a conversation with Sherlock that same day about needing a flatmate. And Sherlock immediately picked up on the “lie” and ran with it.

it makes zero sense if sherlock is not in love with john it makes actually zero sense that’s why the casuals are so confused! what did they think about sherlock reading about the first time he and john met and saying it was a mental exercise and mycroft being like “YOU ARE LYING”? what did they think about sherlock having to be high in order to get through saying goodbye to john? what did they think about sherlock actually, textually, literally without question telling mary to her FACE that john left her for him? what did they think about john asking sherlock if he’s ever had sex? if he ever wants to? if he and irene are a thing? or were ever? what did they think about john waiting until sherlock falls asleep to look inside his locket to see who the picture was of? what did they think about moriarty telling sherlock and john to elope and them shortly after being like “actually, i don’t mind”? what did they think about “HE’S ALWAYS RIGHT AND IT’S BORING”? what did they think about “there is a woman in my flat, is it intentional”? what did they think about the very blatant sexual imagery in the moriarty scene? about “i’m happy to play the fool for you”? about “the fair sex is your department”? about the villain being the bride all along? the special makes NO SENSE without johnlock. the special makes NO SENSE, like literally at all, if sherlock is not in love with john.
