“Self destruction is tragically beautiful.” No the fuck it’s not. There is nothing beautiful about all of the nights I cried myself to sleep. Or the nights I couldn’t even look at myself without wanting to throw up. Or how about the nights I tore my own fucking flesh apart, watching blood stream down my bathtub drain. Feeling weak and numb to any form of emotion is not deep and it’s not something you want. Suicidal people are not “Angels who want to go home,” they’re sick and they need people who are going to be there for them. Stop putting into the minds of young kids that depression is “beautiful” and “poetic”. Because I know from experience that there’s nothing beautiful about wanting to kill yourself. Stop romanticizing depression and mental disorders.
