First things first let’s start with the layout of our setting shall we? It took me probably a little bit to figure out what exactly I wanted to do with the layout but I finally figured it out.

So essentially the whole kingdom (because it’s a kingdom run by king because that’s how I wanted it) is underground but there are different levels where different people live depending on their status. The king and anyone who works for him and such live on the very top level, nobles live on the second, necessary workers live on the third level (farmers, clothes makers, etc.), and peasants and other poor folk live on the fourth level which is the second closest level to the only entrance to the ‘dark levels’ which is where monsters and vicious creatures live.

The fifth level of the kingdom is a bit different than the rest. It’s the level that criminals and such tend to stay because of how far it is from the capital and how the King doesn’t bother to check on it.

What is also down on the fifth level is none other than The Devil’s Casino. Now unfortunately the devil isn’t really the devil in this au for plot purposes but he essentially still acts the same but instead of stealing souls he just makes people bet their lives so he can force them to work for him (or just kill them depending on how he feels).

It’s mostly text because I’m more confident in my writing than I am in my art but I dunno if people would actually enjoy an ask blog that’s mostly written story with bits of art thrown into it

Okay so we know that Cuphead has never been to school and stuff and we also know that he likes to gamble (love is probably a better word but I digress)

I was thinking about that and I had the thought that Cuphead’s best subject probably would’ve been math if he actually got a proper education. My reasoning for this is mostly because a lot of games that people gamble on have to do with counting and probabilities (which is technically a facet of math).

Now of course this relies on Cuphead actually being a decent gambler which is dependent on how you look at him I suppose

I may be entirely off track here but I remember reading something somewhere that gambling was essentially a lot of math but that could be completely wrong

Also I live in the south where on a good day it’s upwards of 90 degrees so I’m basing these on that and my experiences

1.) I think that during the summer months Boris is in water as much as possible considering all of his fur and such so I fully believe that it’s not uncommon for him to spend entire days in a pool or creek just so he can keep cool properly

2.) To me Bendy is that guy who loves going to pool parties and is always dressed nice somehow even though he’s in a swimsuit but then doesn’t get in the water. At most I think he dangles his feet in for a bit but I don’t think he likes to fully submerge himself (Boris definitely drags him in every now and then)

3.) Cuphead is that one asshole who goes around and dunks people constantly and is also the one who brings out huge water guns and just starts causing mayhem with them. He also forgets about sunscreen and burns super badly

4.) Mugman has an inner tube that he sits on and floats around with and he will come after anyone who dares to even try and flip him over *cough* Cuphead *cough*. Actually reapplies sunscreen properly and doesn’t burn.

5.) Mugman wears swimming trunks with a light blue to dark blue gradient and pink flowers on them

6.) Cuphead wears red swimming trunks with white and black stripes across the bottom. He initially has a tank top on with it but he takes it off pretty quickly.

7.) Boris doesn’t care about having actual swim wear and will just wear a random pair of shorts.

8.) Bendy will wear whatever he feels like with no shame. Bikini? Sure why not. Swim trunks? Yep. Both? Absolutely. He also owns at least one super cute coverup for when he does wear bikinis or two pieces.

I can’t stop thinking about how much of a Cuphead move it is to sacrifice himself so into Ivan’s place he goes:)))

Okay so a big thing of mine is video games (some, usually older ones but I digress) and so I wanna tell some of my headcanons about the boys and video games so here we go:))

Boris - Okay so we’re gunna start off with the nicest boi around and that reflects in his gameplay in my opinion. I think there’s two ways he could be—1.) he sticks to ‘chiller’ games like simple puzzle games or like 8-bit type games like Undertale or the old Pokémon games or 2.) he doesn’t play anything outside of candy crush and even that he’s bad at

Now I lean more towards the first one, mostly because I enjoy thinking about him playing Undertale and making a point to always do a pacifist route or him playing Stardew Valley every chance he gets

Bendy - This guy……is tough to pin down with topic for some reason, but I really feel like he likes games like Raft or The Forest but only specifically when playing multiplayer (he’s definitely a rage baiter). I think he enjoys gathering materials and making stuff, ya know?

Cuphead - The only thing he does is rage bait. I don’t make the rules.

He definitely gets Mugman to play Minecraft with him just to constantly find ways to kill him or still his stuff and then laugh his happy ass off when Mugs starts yelling at him.

Aside from the rage baiting part of it though, I think he’s a horror guy. Like I think he’s played more horror games than the entire group combined. I also think he’s the kinda guy to get one of his friends to play a horror game and then constantly rag on them when they say that the game is scary because he’s so incredibly desensitized to it at this point.

Talked Boris into playing Outlast once and it will never happen again—Boris lost any and all trust he’d gained for Cuphead that day. ‘It’s just a documentary game’ his ass

Mugman - As much as I love him I don’t think he plays video games much. I definitely think he’s more of a board game or just read a book kinda fella.

When he does play video games it’s one of two kinds—organization games (think unpacking) or shooter games (cod, Fortnite and such). The shooter games are far and few between however because if he plays them too much then he runs the risk of breaking the controller or keyboard he’s using due to rage.

He will occasionally play games with his brother but it doesn’t happen very often because of Cupheads rage baiting nature. He does enjoy playing Raft with Bendy though! Bendy’s much more tolerable usually.

Like I’m like 3-4 months behind on actually reading it, but I don’t avoid spoilers so I know a lot of what’s happened and what’s going on I just don’t know small details unless I see a tiktok about them

And to be honest I’m like this with a lot of media I’m a fan of because the thought of sitting down to watch or read something with plot is scary so I just watch my Minecraft and Resident Evil videos instead because that’s more manageable to my brain

That being said I really do wanna sit down and read through all of MOTM even if it’s just to see more Mugman because every piece of art of him other than my own is so SCRUMPTIOUS
