As shown above, Aiden is Agender and goes by They/it/Him, and I use all but since I believe Aiden isn’t fully aware of their identity I’ll typically stick to He/Him while in character.
This blog is specifically in the timeline where Jesse takes Aiden with them, and Aiden feels remorseful. They serve Four years and is currently on Parole, is in therapy, and is being medicated. Theyre going to act noteably differently from how he does in canon in some regards, but the snarky, rude tone and attitude will still be there. He’s more reserved than anything, now.
Aiden has BPD-NPD (or Borderline narcissistic personality disorder) which he is medicated for, however mood stabilizers can only relax some of the symptomsand that will likely show up in how he answers asks. It experiences paranoia, psychosis, and frequent instability, but has a behavioral therapist to help with those things. A lot of my head canons are inspired by the Fic ‘Aiden’s Memoir’, which you should absolutely read. The backstory is similar in his experiences with the whitherstorm within the fic, including divergences that I’ll distinguish if it comes up, along with the story in general. (basically you gotta unlock his lore through questions)
Aiden in this ‘universe’ (I’ll call it that) grew up in an extremely alcoholic household (#Trailer park household) which led to them becoming alcoholic in their teens up to when he was twenty. His B/NPD stemmed from his childhood and worsened due to the previously stated factors, but it’s working towards handling it better. Part of my head canon, though, is that they have Bulimia, which I likely won’t bring up or talk about directly, but it will be hinted at. If there are any bold mentions of Disordered eating I will put a warning at the top of the post!!
Just for the sake of having a time line:
Lukas was his FP before he left with Jesse, he is was extremely envious of them both for separate reasons. Envy for Jesse stems primarily from them surpassing the archetype Aiden set for them, and just being popular after being a loser for so long. Their envy for Lukas has always existed, just being Lukas is so easily like able, but emerged specifically from the fact he left them for Jesse and was ‘so easily’ forgiven despite being ‘just as bad’ as him.
He currently has VERY mixed feelings on them both.
His only friends, technically, are Isa and Maya (who is his cousin), but he’s slowly redeeming himself and inching towards making more friends.
I personally am a multi shipper, a big fan of Aidesse and Aidkas, but I will indulge in just about anything outside of Maiden. I rock with it and I have no grudge against shippers of it, but they are related in this AU.
‘magic asks’ are allowed, like changing the setting or Aiden’s appearance, but if I’m uncomfortable with something I simply will not reply.
Despite me briefly explaining what Aiden has gone through, dont feel the need to be nice to him or like, avoid certain topics I guess. I think angst is fun and also I hate Aiden and hope he suffers (lovingly)
