This was mostly made to show my family but i felt like i should share it here too

yes, I saw them!! I'm really surprised that Phainon got 2 voicelines about TB, but I'm not complaining xD ofc fandom will call them besties at best lol

it's the foreshadowing that he'll join the Astral Express after we save Amphoreus #trust. no but seriously, I hope we'll do some kind of power of friendship ft. random bullshit go and we unsimulate Amphoreus, so all Chrysos Heirs will be able to live the best of their lives and leave the planet freely 🥹

on a serious note, I really enjoy Phainon's relationship with Trailblazer (be it Stelle or Caelus) regardless of whether it's romantic or purely platonic... the trust and admiration he has for TB is really something else, no matter how people interpret it.

yes Snowy, your outland hero has already arrived and they will do everything in their power to help you 🥺 the amount of times Phainon had referred to TB as his hero is insane... not only during lofty situations, but also on a daily basis he really is down bad lol

and his letter to TB... well, his letter to TB and DH in the EN translation :')

I'm literally crying... as much as I complain about mistranslations and less accurate word choices of the EN localization team, this letter is just beautifully sad. the "you are the hero of my heart" line lives rent free in my head since 3.3 dropped. and the end of the letter... "you'll always find a way to break the rules, right?" Phainon really puts all his hope in TB and 3.4 only confirmed that. Caelus, Stelle, hoyoverse, please, don't disappoint him, he has already suffered enough.

Phai-chan calling TB partner... istg, if they can't meet again I'll go crazy... if I had a nickel for every time gray-haired MC got called partner by their deleted romance route/character they have a special bond with, I'd have 2 nickels

overall, I have very mixed emotions about 3.4, just like you, because we got phaiblazer moments (I've never seen anyone using this ship name, but I love it, gonna use it at every opportunity), but it's just pure depression. Phainon (and all Heirs) deserves better and I really hope that we will be able to kill that stupid robot for all the suffering he put Snowy in.

Would you fall in love with me again? (serirei)

The most prominent and probably most important narrative parallel being how Toichiro "freed" Serizawa by having him depend on him and CLAW, whereas Reigen freed Serizawa by encouraging him to be his own person while still including him in S&S and promoting real healthy connections with other people.

Toichiro towering over Serizawa while Reigen kneels to be at his level... Reigen sees Serizawa as an equal. Despite technically being "his boss," he includes him and encourages genuine discussions in both a personal and workplace environment.

This, and the way the two of them seem equally amazed and supportive/reliant of the other. Serizawa in Reigen's logical knowledge and street smarts and Reigen in Serizawa's psychic powers and spiritual experience.

On a more wholesome and personal note, there's also the fact that, after the climax of the finale, Serizawa was definitely calling Reigen in a panic to find out if he was alright.

Long story short, there's a lot of character interactions and development of these characters and their relationship if you really pay attention! Sure, they both have their own lives (Serizawa going to night school and Reigen... doing what Reigen does), but it's not like they're "just coworkers." They're very close, and they have a lot of canon material to work with!
