Me: (sipping tea on the sidelines, knowing it is not, in fact, just like FNAF, because the PPT toys have never been depicted as separate from the children that inhabit them like the FNAF mascots are. Only the core 5 or 6 animatronics plus a handful of others are ever depicted as even having souls inside them, and have their own general personalities prior to and separate from whoever may inhabit them. The Fazbear mascots existed on their own before they were possessed and are therefore separable from any tangentially related children with a simple clarification. The PPT toys were created to house the souls, and contain their original brains and various vital organs. They are not the same.)

btw this isn't me hating on you, I'm not trying to word it aggressively or anything, I'm just trying to lay out facts/my argument in a way that makes sense to both me and others 💖

An important thing to remember is that "doesn't act like a child" doesn't change the fact most, if not all, ARE canonically children.

I know a LOT of really mature children/teens. Especially in unhealthy environments, you're GOING to get quite a number of minors who act older than they are to cope with trauma, or because they're simply forced to fill that role in order to protect themselves or others. That behavior doesn't make them an adult, nor does it magically give them the ability of informed consent.

We simply don't know if the toys have aged physically due to the fact they are an assortment of organs or consciousnesses gruesomely stuffed/puzzled into different bodies, and "I don't know" isn't enough of a base to justify a relationship.

Even if some have aged mentally, the toys I'm seeing sexualized are very clearly not emotionally mature enough, nor enough in their right minds to have an adult understanding of relationships nor consent.

Lily Lovebraids is canonically an adult woman, we were told that in the game, as is Harley Sawyer, along with That One Bron From The Tapes.

Giant Bron is up for debate.

Mommy Longlegs is confirmed to be a child from playcare

Doey is made up of three children as confirmed by a lot of papers in chapter 4 and some tapes

Huggy is vaguely implied to be a child by chapter 5 flashbacks in the least, if nothing else.

Kissy Missy only might actually be an adult, but I can't find confirmation either way. She's described as being recommended for a work position, but it sounds like that's ***after*** she was turned into a toy, so I can't be entirely certain.

Ollie/Prototype and Poppy are confirmed to be children.

Catnap is a child, as are most if not all The Smiling Critters.

We don't know about Giblet yet. He sounds older, so I suspect late teens to young adult, but we can't be certain.

Playtime Co's whole THING is that they turn children into sentient toys/mascots. The trend so far as been that they will explicitly TELL US if one of the toys is NOT a child, as was the case with Harley and Lily, because it's usually a big deal among the other toys/hidden papers/tapes that an ADULT was experimented on rather than one of their peers.

Without that confirmation, we have to assume all toys are children until proven otherwise, because we're in an environment where nearly all of our context clues imply that nearly all characters are children.

TLDR: Children act more mature than their age all the time due a plethora of reasons. Behavior does not an adult make.

Saying "I don't know, they're probably an adult" in a game where most if not all the cast are confirmed to be, or implied to be children- isn't enough confirmation to justify sexualization of a character.
