Uplink is a music band formed in 2011. The band consisted of Philipp Hermes and Nikolaj Weiss. Philipp Hermes was born 1991 in Waldshut-Tiengen Germany. He was interested very early for music and he tried to find people with the same enthusiasm for music in diverse online communities. Nikolaj Weiss was born three years before in Schlanders Italy. His entire life revolved around music. The urge for better sound quality was the reason to join a music community. September 2011, the two began to contact and they were directly connected. Already from the beginning they were soulbounded, therefore they founded the Band "Uplink". Many Record Labels are interested in their work. Uplink produced a lot of Tracks for other famouse DJs/Producers, but in the meantime they have published no original songs. In the sound quality and innovation they are now so good that they are no longer distinguishable from big acts. They focus on sounds like David Guetta, Deadmau5, Armin van Buuren and give them their own characteristic (Uplink style). The Band brings the various EDM styles together and creates the head banging Uplink sound. Uplink works alongside the productions also as Dj and it increases their publicity.
