i am literally flipping out over your ben mendelsohn rogue one drawing. like. WOW. it will be my intrusive thought of the day.

do you mind if i ask what is your artistic process/medium? it looks like colored pencil? but also digital? (im sorry, i know nothing about art and literally cant even draw a stick figure. im sure im using the wrong terminology)

anyway, utterly phenomenal. i love it!!

Firstly thanks sooo much!! I’m such a fan on Ben’s work, he’s had some fantastic roles and krennic is a real fav of mine. As to the drawing I use an app called procreate on the iPad and use an Apple Pencil to draw, on the app there’s lots of different brushes, I use several to get the look I want, for the skin I mostly use a airbrush tool to blend a lot of the colours then I go over the top with a brush tool to make it look more textured, I also used a ‘scattered pain’ brush to try and create his freckles and more texture on the skin. I don’t draw too often anymore but I’m pleased how this turned out 🙏🏻☺️
