A brow rose as he looked down at his phone "hmm..I could do a kill two birds with one stone type deal.." he sat up from his blanket and smirked as he made his way over to @itssame-sandradee "care for a show??" ignoring the probably weird expression the female was giving him
"A glimpse through an interstice caught,
Of a crowd of workmen and drivers in a bar-room around the stove late of a winter night, and I unremark’d seated in a corner,
Of a youth who loves me and whom I love, silently approaching and seating himself near, that he may hold me by the hand,
A long while amid the noises of coming and going, of drinking and oath and smutty jest,
There we two, content, happy in being together, speaking little, perhaps not a word."
The male quoted the poem while doing a little bit of breakdancing.
Sandy had agreed to go to the potluck because she knew it would make Penny and Danny happy. To be honest though, she would have preferred staying in the dorm she shared with Penny playing her games. To compromise, she had taken her switch with her, which she had all her downloaded games on.
After laying out a blanket for the group, Sandy sat down and pulled out her switch loading up Splatoon 2. She figured while she waited for the group she could do a couple Salmon Runs for fun. As usual, it didn’t take long for Sandy to become fully engrossed in her game. Had her friends arrived during this time, they were used to her enough that this would not be a surprise for them.
She was vaguely aware of someone standing near her but didn’t want to look away from the game just yet. The Salmon Run team she had gotten was pretty useless. “UGH! What the hell are you doing?! You don’t take those on alone, that’s how you die like you just did!” Sandy ranted to herself. “I hate players who rode to Profresh on the coattails of better players.” She groaned while using a well timed special to rescue the other three players at the end of Round 3.
Looking up she saw someone she spotted a guy standing there, looking fairly pleased with himself. Pulling out her earbuds she lifted her switch. “I’m sorry... did you say something?”
