It’s more like…what do you MEAN they got their entire to-do list done in one day? What do you mean they had the time and energy left over to do a couple of other things, too? What do you mean, they were sore yesterday from doing something physical, but that they’ve pretty much recovered by today, and tomorrow they won’t even feel it?

I started to working on this comic after the 3rd episode was released. Then I abandoned the sketches for more than half a year, until now.  I was thinking about the time between getting back on the board of The Revenge and the scene when Stede goes to see Ed’s body. And the second thing I had on my mind were the letters. We know Stede is a good captain, so I believe he helped the crew with things that needed to be done at the moment. Also, he definitely needed a moment to cope with the whole situation.  When it comes to letters, my headcanon was that he was writing them to Ed as a sort of daily ritual since he ran back to his family, and he did it even he knew Ed's body was on the board. It was a kinda heavy theme for me, and I was not sure if I would finish it, so I hope you will enjoy it.
