really, all anakin skywalker wanted to do was make sure his padawan didn’t end up like him. he hated it when she laughed off injuries and avoided the medbay (just like him) and disobeyed the council (even if it was with him). he hated how his padawan was slowly becoming his younger copy that people associated him with, not because he hated her (he loved her) but because he hated himself. anakin skywalker did everything in his power to make ahsoka tano better than he was, and when darth vader fought her on malachor and saw who she became, some hidden part of anakin skywalker was glad she wasnt like him. darth vader looked at the only remaning piece of anakin skywalker and vowed to destroy his only success.

darth vader didn’t want anything. he didn’t need anything other then the death of the jedi, didn’t feel anything other then anger and hate and his heart burning and his chest wheezing as every breath was a desperate gasp for air (just like padmé), didn’t want anything but to be let out of the black monstrosity that stole his freedom, his air, his life.

i just saw a post that said katniss killed coin and not snow because snow always falls but you can never predict when a coin flips.

why wasn’t it haymitch that stopped the games, haymitch who blew up the arena and was able to use the arena as a weapon to survive? why was it katniss, a girl who came twenty five years after?
