I’ve been following @taylorswift since I was 12 years old, my grandad bought me fearless after hearing Tim McGraw and he decided I needed to fall in love with country music like he did. Thank you grandad, cause the lover album has changed my life in ways I can’t even explain. Thank you Taylor you wonderful and precious human being xoxox

Okay so @taylorswift at midnight we step into a new era of music, sound and spirit and I am so excited for it. I have been with you through every musical transition and every change and Even at 12 years old I felt that no one else’s music explained how I felt quite like yours. So before we move into a new magical pastel glittery butterfly and full of palm trees world, I thought I would share with you my favourite song from reputation and why. Call it what you want has been my soundtrack for all the times I was made to feel like I wasn’t good enough, when I was judged, when I was told what I was doing was wrong and that I shouldn’t be with someone because it was ‘too soon’ despite the fact he was and is the only person who has stood by me through all the shit and gave me the strength to keep going. Everybody doubted us. Everyone thought we wouldn’t last but I thought we were great and he’s turned into my best friend and my person. He has rooted for me and picked me up off the floor and took me away when I just needed to escape it all for a while. Your song really gave me fire every time I listened to it and that was enough for me to shut off all those voices and opinions because the only opinion I cared about was mine and his. It would be wrong to say he is the reason for my happiness because it’s more than that. He reminded me that I can be happy with who I am and do what I want for me without judgement from others. He’s gave me back a fire I thought I had lost forever. Despite what was said, 2 years later he’s still here, and he loves ME for ME. Thank you Taylor for writing music that can become the soundtrack of my life. 4.26. I’m so ready for you.
