When one side cuts off water, food and electricity on another then it’s not war.

When one side has nuclear weapons then it’s not war.

When one side is getting funded with billions of dollars then it’s not war.

When one side uses AI pictures to spread misinformation about another then it’s not war.

When social media is censoring the content of one side and not the other then it’s not war.

This isn’t a conflict and it’s not war.

This is genocide and mass destruction and we’re witnessing it happen live.

Human Rights Watch confirms Israel is using white phosphorus gas on Gaza, violating int’l law

Israel cut off Gaza’s electricity and water, so no food preservation, health care, or basic means to live. Internal media coverage can go only so far without power. Hard to see the true extent of turmoil, likely by design.

Complete blockade from humanitarian aid means people starve and die from Israel’s siege on Gaza.

None of the 2M Palestinians can leave due to the open air prison Israel created around the city. Almost half of them are children.

Western media continues to cover only one side of this conflict, tainting the world’s understanding of what’s truly occurring. Public officials blindly follow suit. What a tragedy it is.

My heart and thoughts are with all those suffering in the region as a result.

How to stop comparing yourself to others:

1. Don’t listen to the voice inside your head that tells you that you are inadequate.

2. Don’t hang out with people who look for the flaws and can’t see the best in the people in their lives.

3. Recognise that each person is different and unique. There is no-one like you - and you have great attributes.

4. Take note of your efforts, and the progress you have made. You’ve already come far. You should celebrate that!

5. Appreciate others, and what you gain from them. Don’t see them as people who undermine you.

6. Remember that NO-ONE is perfect at all - and that other people struggle with the same stuff as well.
