NOT Maxine!

As many of you probably do not know, I’ve been offered the position of Principal of McKinley. And yes, I know how ironic that is. 

Wait - does this mean we’re gonna have some more ‘changes’ around school??

Yeah, i don’t think taking a trip is in my budget right now.. but care to enlighten me on what you call ‘fun’

“Yeah, it doesn’t really seem to be in anyone's budget these days. But hey - for me things can be a little limiting - I’m still in high school, but we find our own fun even if it is just goofing off - we have small-town fun I guess. Probably not much like you are used to, are you a fan of music?”

“Yeah, it’s like out in the boonies or some shit where the cell towers don’t reach. We all make bad drunk choices and mine might have included the sale of my soul. I wasn’t using it anyway.”

“Damn. Is it like a punishment or just.....? Okay remind me when I get drunk - to be careful what I sell to people, my Momma would not be pleased with me if I sell my soul away!” 

yknow for living on the west coast almost my whole life, coming to land locked state… I’m missing the ocean so much.please tell me there is something  fun to do around here that isn’t watching paint dry or grass grow.

Well, there is a ton of things to do around here to have fun, it just depends on what you’re into - although we can’t really help too much with missing the ocean. Unless you want to go on a trip somewhere, but we do have our own ‘small town’ fun that can be made.

Adrian sighed when the girl mentioned that she didn’t but he did get what she meant. “Now that I am completely shocked about. Unless you aren’t into girls? In that case, asking a guy to be your boyfriend. That’s a thing now, right? Women equaility and everything. I listen to some of those speeches, and some of it catches.” He shrugged at her before sighing. “Okay, okay. You are right. Being cute doesn’t really single her out in that sense. She challenges me. Like, she makes me want to actually be a better person. I feel things when I am near her, that butterfly feeling I used to laugh at other people talk about, yeah, it’s there. She’s also really caring and has a huge heart. She doesn’t seem like the kind of girl who’d be interested in a player like myself but I gave all of it up after our first date. Like, no other girl has made me do that.”

At Adrian’s response, Max almost fell backwards off the bed as her laughter burst out, tears in her eyes as she quickly tried to calm her laughter down. “Oh...my... GOD.” small giggles still bursting forth as she settles herself back on the bed beside him, composing herself enough to actually speak again, “There is no doubt that I also like girls - lets just get that out there for the record. But sadly other that you - I haven’t really well, ‘dated’ anyone - so that whole thing - not really on my radar yet.” there were a few more scattered giggles as she rubbed at her cheek, clearly still a little amused.

“Okay. Okay - I’m good. Now - I’m glad to hear there is more to it than that - and damn this girl got you good Adri, ‘makes me want to be a better person’ - excuse me while I track this girl’s number down and praise her because damn.” Even as she spoke, gently teasing - there is a genuine fond smile on her face. “So when are you gonna ask her out again? And asking her to be your girl - you planning on doing that in a specific way? Tell me what you have going on idea wise and I’ll help you out.”

“Some lake with his family and I can’t sell my soul, not again anyway.”

“And they have no cell service? That's.. that's rather terrifying actually. Wait seriously? Ky - when did you do that? Who did you sell it too?”

“He’s not answering his phone. I don’t think he has cell service where he’s at. I have a couple ideas for ways to make some extra money but I’ll let you know”

“Seriously? Wait - where the heck IS he at? Okay, okay - if you’re sure. But keep me posted Ky, cause I’ll be there if you need some backup, and please don’t try and go and sell your soul or something.”

“Dude, you know how nervewracking it is to ask a girl to be your girlfriend that you actually realy like?” Adrian asked his best friend, laying on her bed with his feet dangling off the end. “Like, I can’t use my usual shit, I have to actually thiink about this and make it sound good. Why did Sav have to be so damn cute and amazing?”

Max had been sitting on her floor, going through a notebook when she heard him speak up, a quick laugh escapes her before she looks at him seriously, “No - No I can’t say I know how that feels actually - I’ve never asked someone to be my girlfriend before.” Her lips twitching slightly in amusement, before quickly tossing the book aside and jumping to her feet. 

Sitting on her bed, legs crossed as she stares at him, “You know, its kinda cute how much you like her - but for reals Adri, talk to me about her - other than just ‘cute’ and ‘amazing’. I won’t have you messing this up ”  As much as she was amused, she did care - and yeah okay it was amusing seeming him so ... worked up about a particular girl, it wasn’t really something she had seen before.

“I have to admit, I am totally digging this new look. This blue hair is AWESOME.” Pilar smiled, running her fingers through her hair. “Now, before any of you older people freak out or banish me to hell, it’s a wig. I couldn’t bleach my own hair. Ugh, the damage it could bring, it breaks my heart.”

“Hot damn! That looks amazing! Legit though I didn’t think it was a wig at first too,” she moves closer, reaching a hand out to touch a few strands, “Seriously the quality is amazing, Blue really - really suits you too!”

“i expect you to! - sorry? bitch you knew i wouldn’t want to be stuck with anyone else. you’re my wife for fucks sake. - oh shut up! that is a dumb lie and you know it.”

“Hell yes! I need to record that - can you say it again so I can record it?! And hey! it’s totally not a lie - next time I’ll take a photo - or better yet a video to prove it. Also aren’t you supposed to trust my word? If you looked like shit, I’d just say so - then probably offer to help give you a make over..”
