M, I just wanted to say, 

A lot has happened, 

I thought it would be best for me, 

To check in with you. 

It’s been a while, 

But I guess it’s because I’m scared, 

I’m scared to talk to you, 

Because for some reason, 

I keep thinking that I’ve become, 

What you were scared of becoming.

I feel like I disappointed you,

Because when you come to my mind, 

Your sweet, pure voice comes through, 

And you ask how life’s been, 

Instead of telling you it’s literally the best, 

I reply with the same words, 

“I dunno know, I guess it’s alright,”

Sometimes I have visions of you, 

A smile painted across your face, 

Friends and family surrounding you, 

And then, when you talk to me, 

Their faces become blank, 

Faceless creatures surround you, 

And the smile melts like butter, 

Lips curve into an expressionless look. 

More than disappointing family and friends, 

I’m terrified of disappointing you, 

And I can’t sleep at night, 

Justin, an old friend, was visiting town and stopped by to say hi. It’s always a good time when Justin is in town, but this time was better than before 😈 He was telling us stories about what goes on the in the locker room after rugby games and got Nash all horned up so he pulled me aside and asked if we could make a video with him. After some convincing, he agreed 😏 He’s a lot bigger that we remembered, but that made for so much more fun!
