“That’s another topic I would prefer not to discuss.”

“I errr… didn’t understand half of what you just said. However, I want to thank you. I understand I can be really competitive sometimes but I mean, who isn’t? Everyone is a bit competitive. I like to think of myself as just a little more competitive than the average joe. And not to pat myself on the back but, I would like to believe that I do give “good dad advice”.”

“Thank you for yer kind words. I really do appreciate it. But if I don’t boast about Daisy then who will? I know I can go a bit overboard at times but as her father, I want her to know how proud I am of her and how much I love her.”

Brian goes silent as he looks down at the ground. “I’m sorry but I really don’t feel comfortable talkin’ about it. Especially to someone I don’t know.”

“A panini press? I’m sorry to break it to ya but those things ain’t grills. If it don’t run on coal, it ain’t a grill!”

“It’s nice and comfy! Just how I like it!” 

“Aw shucks! Quite the flatterer aren’t ya? After saying such sweet things, you DESERVE a hug! Come on, bring it in. Don’t be shy!”
