Safe Haven

We met at one,

 Ate Lunch together at two and we studied from three onward. 

Then, we thought it was just seven o'clock in the evening but it was already nine. We stopped for a moment, starred at each other and realized that November 7, 2016 is already over, called it a night as you walk me home and we finally separate ways. But you asked me before I leave, " what time are you going out tomorrow? Maybe we could still see each other?" 

I finally made him say to me these three words yet I responded “I know” or “Ok”. Though I like him, but these three are fragile to say, too extensive to speak. Still, I am figuring out; is he worth saying those words? I tried to tell this to the person that I thought that I love but I made a huge mistake. So now, I am being extra careful with this. 

 It is true that the essential requisite into a relationship is love. Primarily, it is the foundation and the only language that everyone that could understand (St. Arnold Janssen). But, What is love? How do we distinguish love from crush and infatuation? Psychology stated that infatuation is only a temporary feeling into a person that could only lasts for a few months. Whereas crush on the other hand, synonymous to “admiration”, in which you see something to a person that attracts you and you start to admire. Love is different, it is unconditional, lasts longer than the two above mentioned. In entering the contract of Marriage, mutual love, fidelity and respect are specifically stated in the law. Therefore, the structure of love must be build as strong as a concrete; It must not be easily unbreakable or gone.          

How do we know that we are really engaging into the feeling of love? I believe that love at first sight is not reliable enough or as a basis but somehow it is distinguished when a person comes into your path several times but it seems that you weren’t meant like asymptote but in the right time and right place. Your roads intersected and end up being together. Several things happened in the past, people came and went by but the essence of you knowing that person and eventually falling for him, I think is love. It is something developed upon persons and forgetting the flaws while giving into the state of being in love. Realizing that, you were looking to far, forgetting that someone who’s always beside you or near you.
