It's Aminaminal Crossing Stuff

I know everyone loves these ‘I-promise-to-post-more-and-I’m-just-busy’ posts.

I sure do.

Truthfully, my laptop is almost never on, and when it is I am doing homework on it. I’m gonna be honest, I’m probably not going to post regularly again. If life goes the way I want, I will be busy all the time, the only exception being the month of July. If not, then June as well.

As far as Animal Crossing goes, I just can’t find the time for that at all. I keep telling myself I’ll make time, but that’s not going to happen. My D.S. sits on my desk, staring at me sadly. I’m sorry, small one. I’m not a good mom to you.

If you guys do like my posts and stuff, though, I could post the link to my personal blog, which is linked to my phone and much more active. It’s mostly memes and stuff that makes me laugh, but I post sometimes. That could become a regular thing, If enough people came over.

I dunno. Just a thought. If anyone is interested, message the blog and I’ll make it happen for you.

In Happy Home Designer Francine wanted a shrine to Chrissy and I’m just wondering if she’s ok. 

And also designed. I have to admit, I also have a copy of Happy Home Designer, but I wanted to get a bit further into it before I even began to give my impressions of the game.

My initial thoughts: wow. Just, honestly, wow. The detail that goes into this game. It really is a step out of the box for animal crossing, and I have to say I’m in love with it. The way you can create everything in the town is really a new sense of an adventure. From the building designs, to your neighbors, you have the final say on everything. You literally build it from the ground up, and this is animal crossing reimagined.

While it may not be the same open feel to things, it really is almost the same as any animal crossing game at its core. You have neighbors you can talk to when you want, if you want, the important characters (along with the addition of the ever so adorable Lottie), player customization, and building unlockablity. Of course, you don’t have the entire free run of the town, or the usual real-time play mode, but this is almost as good. You can meander around as long as you like before or after work, going to talk to anyone you please, or explore the buildings you’ve created. The timing really depends on how long you want to spend on each day. Weather it be a long time doing what you want, or maybe just a little while to do your job, you have the option to end the day whenever you please. So really, the running and real time aren’t much to miss.

The charm ratings for this are off the charts. Right down to the little uniform you wear, or the reports you write up for the day, everything is thought out. In your job, you get promoted based on how much work you put in. Yes, it is a fixed system in which you get promoted at certain points of the game, it really makes you feel proud when they tell you that your a project manager. And then the characters themselves all have rolls in certain areas of the town, and have dialog according to what their roll might be when they are in a certain building, or room of a building. Even the little phrases are downright witty. For example, you might have an angry businessman, or a helpful store clerk. The amount of thought that has gone into the entirety of this game blows my mind.

In short, I’m in love with it. Every single part has me hooked, and I really recommend this game, even though it’s not a traditional animal crossing. It still has all the charm and happiness as the rest of the series, and I was most certainly not disappointed.
