Joah is moving faster than Jonnor because Noah was introduced as a love interest from the beginning.

From the second Noah was introduced, he was set up as a love interest for Jude. It was made explicitly clear that Noah was a love interest.

Connor was introduced as a friend and their relationship grew from there.

Yes, this isn’t Jude or Noah’s first relationship, which is another reason it’s moving faster, and why Jonnor moved slower, but either way, Joah would have moved fast than Jonnor because Jonnor was introduced as a friendship, while Joah was always going to be a romantic relationship no matter what angle you looked at it from.

Jonnor’s slow progression and build up was beautiful and something that will always be cherished, but I guarantee you if Connor had been introduced as a love interest from day 1, it would not have been as amazing.
