The thing is, the Israeli government wants to collapse Palestinian resolve through extreme material pressure. All of these items are cultural touchstones for many Palestinians, whether for cooking, entertainment, or simply making life bearable. Restricting access to them is an attack on the basic conditions of everyday life, with the apparent aim of making deprivation so severe that Palestinians are pressured into turning against Hamas, or at the very least creating conditions in which informants and double agents can be bribed or recruited.
